Waterfront vacation rentals in Unicoi County

My friends and I had a wonderful experience at this airbnb. The host was very kind and made us feel safe. It was a beautiful space and well put together. Overall a great time!

Blin's place was spotless, comfortable and the view was stunning - Fall leaves were in full color while we were there. The bathrooms were spacious and clean - the water was hot with good pressure. The king bed in the master was supportive and comfortable. I heard no complaints about the bunk room beds the kids used. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, bowls and cooking utensils. All appliances worked well. It was muddy while we were there so we rolled up the light colored rugs so we didn't accidentally stain them. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of area for him to run and the streets were quiet for a walk along the road. There are steps all the way to the water which will be amazing for lake access in the summer. As it was cold while we were there and the lake was still recovering from Hurrican Helene, we did not get in the water. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Karen was helpful in sending recommendations and communication regarding the impact of Helene on the area. Always answered questions and put us at ease. The suite was beautiful and the amenities were nice and the views were great. Instructions were helpful. I would highly recommend this suite

We stayed for 2 1/2 weeks. Great location. Nothing we needed was more than 15-30 minutes away even though some destinations were in other towns. Condo was clean and quiet. Enjoyed our stay very much.

This was one of the most beautiful, peaceful, cozy places we have ever stayed. Our only regret was only staying one night. There was plenty of room for 3 of us, the view from the balcony was fabulous. The water running from the river down below, and the stars up above. It was perfect. The internet worked and we were able to keep up with business, but there was no tv, and that was perfect. We definitely want to come back when we can stay for a few days, cook out on the grill, and do more hikes in the area. Monisha was very easy to communicate and gave us ideas for dinner and breakfast.

This place was so gorgeous in person. It was super clean and cozy. She accepted us last minute and even aloud us to extend our stay when we realized we didn’t want to leave. She was super responsive and kind. It’s a cute little town. I plan to come back when I need another get away week! This was mine and my boyfriend’s first vacation away from parents and it was amazing!

I had a lovely two week stay at Eliber's listing. Everything was exactly as described. It is very close to downtown Burnsville and easy access to the main road but also quiet enough that deer were in the yard. Eliber was very responsive and answered any questions I had quickly.

Peaceful Getaway with Stunning Lake Views I had an incredible stay at the Cozy Lakefront Retreat! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the serene surroundings and breathtaking lake views. The cabin was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for unwinding—whether sipping coffee on the deck overlooking the water or enjoying an evening by the fire pit. The hosts were incredibly attentive and made sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. I can’t recommend it enough and look forward to coming back soon!

Loved our stay. The land is very peaceful and hosts are friendly. Loved the gated porch - the listing was pet friendly and this gate allowed me to take advantage of indoor / outdoor living without worrying about my dogs. The kitchen does have an electric skilled and hot plate. Coffee is keurig style. Photos maybe a bit outdated and honestly dont do it justice. It was lovely and we intend to go back

Had two of are six people come stay for one night, and loved it and may plan on booking a trip next year.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The house is beautiful and situated by the river, with stunning views and a quiet, serene atmosphere. We especially loved the spacious, fenced yard which was perfect for our dogs to play safely, making the property truly dog-friendly. The porch and patio areas by the river are great for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The street in front of the house was quiet and the bathrooms are definitely a highlight of the house. Angel is incredibly kind and communicative, and made sure we felt welcome and attended to throughout our visit. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. This house is a true gem for pet owners and anyone looking to unwind by the river. Highly recommended!

Tara and Tim were great hosts. They communicated well and everything was just as described. We were there to celebrate our son’s wedding and the home accommodated our large group very well.

Our family had a spectacular time. The location is perfect…quiet, secluded and picturesque nature but close to everything. The accommodations were beautiful, comfortable and provided ample space for our family. Amber and Bryan communicated well and truly made sure that every detail was perfect. Can’t wait to stay again!

I have stayed at Angela's place several times in the past 3 years. We come here to visit my daughter who lives nearby. Each time I look forward to returning. Her home is comfortable, cozy, and well equipped. But what I love the most is sitting on the front porch with my cup of tea watching the river, birds and other wildlife in this beautiful pastoral setting. Meals when we're home are on the screened porch and walks are around the back of the property which overlooks fields with the mountains in the distance. I love the insect sounds at dusk and the all around serene beauty, which is a much appreciated respite from city life.

Stayed here for a weekend softball tournament in Johnson City. Location was fantastic and the neighborhood was calm and peaceful. The unit was clean and tidy and there were tons of amenities available for us. The beds were comfy and the house felt like home. Would stay again!!

I was visiting my son and his family for the holidays and was looking for a great place to stay. Eric's condo was not only clean, it was spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed. It had three TVs, all equipped with Roku TV. I was able to watch local programs as well as those from back home. The Internet was fast and flawless. The neighborhood is peaceful and great for walking. To say the least, Eric's place not only fulfilled, but exceeded my expectations.

Renee's place was a gorgeous haven in Johnson City during our time at the National Storytelling Festival--the home away from home, with a stunning lake, exactly what we needed. Everything was exactly as advertised, only a 20 minute winding drive from Jonesborough, but you never wanted to leave when you saw the sun meet the horizon and reflect across that glassy water. Thanks so much, Renee, we had such a wonderful time revisiting Appalachia.

We needed a few nights stay in Johnson City for a beauty pageant . This was a great place to stay and close to many shops and restaurants. Would stay again !
