Amazing place to stay. Hosts are amazing as well.

The cottage is very comfortable and clean and is well stocked with everything you need. The huge trees in the yard provided welcoming shade. The neighborhood is quiet and close to amenities like shops and restaurants. Annatjie is a star host, warm and friendly and very welcoming. She was always quick to respond to any questions and very helpful with suggestions. I would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Durban.

Lovely home and amazing services. Most beautiful in a perfect location closer to everything. The home with rich history, modernized antique items that compliments the interior and comfortable too. Gillian and husband are very friendly and responsive. They make an effort to make sure their guests have a special experience. superb welcome that made our stay an absolute delight. the house included various amenities and had everything and more. We were in love with everything in the house and the garden so welcoming and refreshing. We wish had more days. Beate's house is so cozy and really does feel like home. The location was perfect for my activities and my daughter and dogs enjoyed the park that is ok literally at the house's entry step. Thank you Beate for everything.

I highly recommend this property. Great private space , awesome hosts and close to shops. Peaceful and at the same time close the highway. I would definitely stay here again if I was in Durban

The house was truly beautiful, and the agent was very kind. Although we felt unsettled when the electricity was out(caused by the municipality) and there was no running water for the first 2 days, we were able to use essential utilities thanks to solar power. The steep incline of the driveway meant we had to unload the van at the bottom and walk up, but this effort was rewarded with breathtaking views from the living room, pool, and every room in the house. Despite a few inconveniences, the house’s beauty and stylish interior design more than made up for them.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Everything about the property exceeded our expectations. Beautifuly kept, very spacious and immaculately clean. Pieter, is a first class host and we hope to get back there one day. Highly recommend.

Spacious apartment with 1 master- & 2 twin bedrooms. The master and one twin have a great ocean view. Very spacious lounge & dining area, kitchen with Nespresso machine, washer & dryer. Weber BBQ on the very large patio. Just down the hill from the promenade. We had a great time, thank you Filip :) - a 1A-host!

Oh the apartment was looovely, the view was breathtaking. We immediately felt at home and it was hard saying goodbye to this wonderful and dreamy place. Communication, check-in etc. was super good, we could always communicate smaller issues. The only minor issue we had was that the apartment is not so soundproofed. But we only had like 1 or 2 instances where it was an issue for us. Although we were sceptical because of the high price, it’s absolutely worth it. Thank you so much for this wonderful stay!

I come to Durban annually and Andrew’s space is one of my regulars. The hosts and available and extremely accommodating. The unit is quiet and peaceful and the view is definitely worth climbing up a few stairs. The bathroom is clean and renovated and the space itself is modern, stylish and still comfortable. Thanks for another great stay. Will definitely be back soon.

Fantastic location within walking distance of many attractions. The beach access and rock pools were amazing so we felt we got excellent value for money. A really perfect spot for families! A tip for other guests: remember to pack beach towels as these aren’t provided (I didn’t think to enquire beforehand which was silly of me). Marcel was a great host and very helpful.

Absolutely wonderful place. The beach and promenade are so easily accessible from the apartment. Spacious living areas and the sea views made this space ideal for our group of 5 adults. Thank you Bev and Alan.

Delightful top floor apartment with uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. Come rain or shine, the view is amazing! The aircon helped big time after hot and humid beach experiences. Bathrooms are modern and clean with Hans Grohe taps. UPS, torch and portable LED light came handy during power outage. Loved the extra touches of Cappuccino sachets with sugar and carton of milk. Gin & tonic glasses were a nice surprise and came in handy. Oh, and the Tupperware helped too! The Defy washing machine worked like a charm. Went home with clean laundry, yey! The gas braai gave some hassle, but was immediately attended to by host. Would replace Protex soaps in bathrooms with smaller glycerine soaps or liquid soap. All in all - a great experience and we’ll be back!

My family and I had the most splendid time in Bronwyn's well-appointed, spacious quayside apartment bosting magnificent views of the Durban coastline from every room and it's generous balcony, which are even better than the photos. Swimming and surfing beaches are just a few steps away. The area is amazingly quiet at night except for the soft whisper of the waves as they hit the shoreline, inducing the best sleep you're likely to have anywhere. Bronwyn and Mike are exceptional hosts and I do plan to return again soon.

I had a wonderful stay at La Mer. The place is exceptionally neat, well-maintained and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean and cozy stay with an all inclusive cleaning service. Would definitely return.

Had a blast at Michelle’s place! The location is perfect! Right where you want to be! So many beaches to choose from right in front of you're doorstep. The unit had everything we needed! Parking got a bit tricky in peak time, but thats understandable. Highly recommend!!

We cannot recommend Jessica’s Airbnb enough and will look to stay there again the next time that we are in Durban. It is located directly on the promenade and a short walk from all of the key Umhlanga spots, in addition to being clean and well-decorated. Jessica herself was a great and responsive host.

We had a great stay here for a couple of days over my birthday. The location is excellent—close to everything you need. The place was spotless, tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The only downside is that there’s only a bath, which isn’t ideal in the summer humidity, but the aircon made a huge difference. Entry was seamless, and the host provided clear, detailed instructions for everything we needed. Thanks for having us! 10/10 recommend.
