It was such a lovely house in lovey peaceful surroundings and a lovely garden. We wished we had spent a few more nights rather than just the 3 because we never had chance to explore the local area properly. Herald was really helpful and friendly with plenty of local suggestions and we would definitely consider coming back to stay.

Nice accommodation for 4 persons with a tiny kitchen.

It is a beautiful house in the archipelago to enjoy family and create lasting memories. We were able to bring our sailboat and 16ft motorboat, use the dock, sauna, hang on the porch, use the charcoal grill, swim in the pool and off the dock, take our power boat to nearby towns, stores, and restaurants. We walked the island numerous days during our visit and enjoyed the scenery. Extraordinary place.

We felt welcome and at home in Spersbodahusen, nice days with hot baths, excursions, reading and game nights. Dark and rough in December but cozy with crackling fire in the evenings. The water in the tap is checked and quite ok but does not taste like in town, so a tip is to bring bottled water to drink if you are a little picky. Hans was very helpful, questions were answered quickly and kindly with great tips. We went to atmospheric Wira Bruk and had homemade food. We would be glad to come back!

We (7 of us plus 3 dogs) have had an amazing stay at Ewa’s house! She’s an amazing host! It is in a great location surrounded by nature, very clean, comfortable, cozy, well equipped and really well organized. Ewa was very responsive to any queries and we felt very much at home in her place. Happy New Year!!!

A very nice house. We took it very clean and ordered the final cleaning separately, which is highly recommended for the sizes of the house. The contact with Fredrika was exclusively online, always very nice. We were 4 adults and 3 children, but the 5 rooms with sleeping facilities were great. At least the two bigger beds were a little too soft for us, but that's a habit. Complete decor of the house, we didn't lack anything. Outside a nice little pool and a gas grill. It's only a 10-minute walk to the well-attended beach in the village, as well as to the bus stop. From there you can reach the center of Stockholm in 25 minutes. A shopping mall is close by too. We had a great stay and highly recommend the house.

Mimmi & Mattias hosted us for a lovely Christmas in Stockholm. The house and neighbourhood was the perfect peaceful and cosy retreat to celebrate the holidays with family. Needless to say, the place was spotless and had every amenity we could think of. For such a cold climate outside, the house was a perfect temperature the entire week. Boris was great addition to our party. 10/10 would pet again.

The space was homely and comfortable, with everything we needed and all mod cons (dishwasher, washer dryer, Xbox etc) which made our stay extra easy and comfortable. We felt right at home the minute we walked through the door. Bjorn was super helpful and responsive, giving us recommendations for where to visit and the best ways to get there. We loved every minute of our stay, the surroundings are stunning, the swimming beach is beautiful, the islands are magical. We can't wait to come back again!

The place itself was great. Very cozy, clean and beautifully decorated. We were here for a longer stay and have to say, we had everything we would need, even lots of kitchen appliances and utensils. The host was even better, she recommended a lot of great places around the area and there was a visitorbook with places to go to. She was very proactive and quick to response, and helped us a lot. We are safe to stay, she was the best host, we ever had on this site. The area itself is really peaceful and quite, with lots of forests and lakes, but be aware that the stores and such are a bit far, which isn't a huge problem if you are coming with car or have a pass for the buses.

We had a wonderful stay at Johan Cottage! The villa was nice and clean, and everything we needed was readily available. We particularly enjoyed using the rowboat, which added a fun element to our stay. My daughter absolutely loved the place and felt right at home. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and we’d love to return!

Johan's house was very spacious and comfortable for all 3 couples. We loved sitting on the decks and dock with lovely water views and beautiful boats coming and going from the nearby marina. The location was great for walking around the neighborhood and to the beach. It was ideal for exploring the archipelago by ferry out of Vaxholm and only a 35-40 minute drive to Stockholm.

Probably the best Host one can have and an amazing Location if you’re on vacation and want to be near sweden :)

We had a wonderful time at Harry's place! The views are spectacular and the pictures don't match the real experience. The house is very cozy and all amenities one could need are there. In particular, our children loved the place and the location on the island. There are numerous spots to hide and to explore, several toys for the sea etc etc. Harry was a very responsive and generous host who helped us with all the little issues that we did come up with. We would certainly love to come back!

We were allowed to stay at Karin's wonderful house for 2 weeks. The house is lovingly decorated and has everything you will need. The view of the sea is fantastic and Karin is a great and warm host.

This is the house to stay in if you're planning to visit Stockholm. Don't look anywhere else! Book it now! From the moment you book, and throughout your stay, to the moment you leave the house, Marie is at hand to offer support and assistance. This house is just lovely. It's been looked after with love, designed with love, and so you can't help but fall in love with it. It has loads of comforts, from a well kitted kitchen, enough rooms/space, great entertainment system, fast Internet, nice garden (and the apples from the tree are great). Oh, and a sauna too! It'll take you 25 mins to get to the heart of Stockholm by car, but if you want to just chill more locally, there's a lovely lake close by. All in all, you won't regret this choice.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely house, and close to swimming areas. The view from the living room/terrace is very beautiful. We would definitely return.

We spent the Christmas holidays with the family (2 adults and 3 teenagers) in Hampus's house. The house is very nice and comfortable and the place is particularly relaxing. I would highly recommend it. Thanks to Hampus for his hospitality and flexibility, as well as his tips for visiting the surrounding area.

Nice, tidy place to stay, with everything you need in a place. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, the city center is easily accessible by train. I recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Stockholm:)

We had an amazing few nights at Annelis beautiful home - the house is extremely comfortable and welcoming and Anneli is very accommodating and helpful when communicating with - the views are incredible and we immediately felt very relaxed and at home when we arrived - couldn’t recommend more ! We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. Everything was very organised and clean and the space is very beautifully decorated. There are nature walks and the train to Stockholm is not far. The house is in a gorgeous, quiet area. Nearby to explore is Nynäshamn, also a boat trip to Nåttarö to the beaches and nature was brilliant and it’s also worth exploring lövhagen. Thank you Pernilla and family we had a wonderful family holiday and couldn’t have asked for a nicer home to spend it in!

We stayed here with our 3 children and it was perfect! From morning till evening they were enjoying the pristine green grass, trampoline, pool, and jacuzzi, and us too! When we wanted to use the sauna, it was perfect with a large window so we always had eyes on our kids while they played. In the mornings beautiful deers would walk in the lawn and it was magical to see! As a family of 5 there is always plenty of laundry, and this house comes with 2 washing machines, a dryer, and a hanging air dryer! We brought all our own washing powder, but they had plenty if needed. The kids all had their own rooms and they were perfect. One day we couldn’t get the sauna to work and the host came over himself to fix it to ensure we didn’t go without on our holiday! Super lovely! Our kids said that this house was the best part of our holiday! No matter your children’s ages, this home has something for everyone to enjoy!
