Vacation rentals in Tyninghame Beach

We had a fabulous long weekend at The Gegan and can't wait to return (we have actually booked up again for June!) A beautiful house ideally placed for the beach as well as for exploring the Borders & Northumberland. The welcome goodies were a lovely touch and the kids loved toasting marshmallows on the fire pit. This cottage was perfect; dog friendly, big garden, and the most stunning views of the castle. The cottage was super clean, up to date with a lovely big kitchen, fab shower, with underfloor heating and a Bluetooth mirror! Had everything you would need for a short or long stay. We would definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family, and we will return.

What a great place for our family to stay for the week. We got to visit our daughter at her hall and also cook some of the foods she was missing. It was super close to everything and not a bad price considering its location.

Booked on behalf of my mom and she had nothing but good things to say. Commenting on the cleanliness and how lovely and spacious the apartment is. The host is lovely, very approachable. Would highly recommend and will be doing so with visiting friends and family.

Liz was very helpful from the beginning, from giving clear instructions to lovely recommendations. The house was located in a very quiet beautiful area with not much around within 10 miles, which was exactly what we needed. we felt comfortable and cozy in the house, we loved setting up the fire in the living room and had a nice family time playing games. we drove around the area and we saw some beautiful places and ate amazing food. We had a wondeful weekend in Edinburgh and the apartment did not disappoint. The location is ideal, close enough to the main sites, but still private and quiet. Paul left some essentials in the apartment, which was much appreciated. The apartment felt bigger than on the pictures and had great touches, from original features to modernised fixtures.

Wow! What can one say except this was truly, truly exceptional in every way. From initial booking to the end of our stay Sheila was the most prefect hostess, providing information and advice in a timely fashion and with enthusiasm. We felt she was a friend before we even met her. And the accommodation! Outstanding is an understatement. Five Star Deluxe. Pristine in its cleanliness, comfortable in the extreme, with every amenity that was required readily available. The location was perfect, especially for golfers being so close to The Old Course - roughly 90 seconds to the 'Home of Golf'. One cannot offer sufficient praise. We will never forget our stay!

My group and I had a lovely time at Mary's place! The caravan is very cozy and is just a short walk to a bus stop that takes you to Edinburgh proper. We loved having easy access to the city while also getting to Escape to a quieter area with such beautiful scenery. Mary is aso incredibly kind and responsive. When my group came up against unforseen circumstances, she was very caring, communicative, and helpful. A wonderful host and sweet place to stay!

Julie is an excellent host with great customer service. We've stayed in her properties for three years in a row and are already booked for next year. The house is well appointed and in a great area for discovering Northumberland. Thank you Julie.

Great properly only 10-15 mins away from Waverley station! Our stay was cut short due to the weather disruptions but the hosts were very kind and helpful!
