I loved this little oasis. Although I came while the lake was still frozen, I was able to go outside and see the sunrise both days. I had a fire on night 2, and they provided me with lighter fluid and newspaper to get it started. Although it has a small heating system, I was able to get pretty warm. It was a quiet spot, but also walkable to downtown, which I explored and loved. I want to come back just so I can explore a bit more. This seems like an amazing summer getaway as well. May bring my daughter next time 😊. Hosts + Ginger were very responsive. I loved everything about this Airbnb.

Enjoyed our stay! Long weekend to visit with extended family. The house is spacious, with a master bedroom and bath on the first floor, which was convenient for my parents. Would definitely recommend.

Another awesome stay at Start Line Inn for Birkie week! We look so forward to our annual visit to the beautiful Northwoods! Mike and Elizabeth are so accommodating and proactive with their responsiveness! The icing on the cake this year is Mike waxed our skis-and made them magic…for four different races through the week! Can’t wait until next year! We may bring our dog next year and have Mike wax our skis for the BarkieBirkie😃🐶 too! Colleen & Greg

Our stay was wonderful! The home was beautiful, spacious, and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, warm spring weather, fresh air, and friendly chickens. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We had a group of three families with varying ages of kids and it was very nice. We enjoyed the fire pit, the kids activities, nature trails and the unique accommodations. A challenge included a small kitchen for cooking and gathering to eat with 12 people, but the owners are building a new area to accommodate for this which will add to this property’s unique location. It was a fun glamping experience, tucked away just enough to escape from reality for a bit.

The place was spacious. It was a great place for 3 couples to stay. Each couple had their own floor and bathroom. The sauna was an added value. We would definitely stay again.

The flexible check-in for us due to the Thanksgiving holiday and nothing was open. It was so very helpful for our travel. Making the grill accessible for us for our Thanksgiving meal went above and beyond expectations..

Great place to stay if it's what you are looking for! I definitely think it would be elevated in the summer but for glamping in the winter I couldn't ask for more. Deb was super responsive and even checked in on me after leaving when I had an allergic reaction to make sure I was still doing ok. Cute dog too! You will probably see the couple around and walk by people working in the shop but I enjoyed that aspect. Felt like a place for community. Your bathroom may be in a plastic bag if it's winter but the hosts were more than willing to empty it whenever we needed and provided a deodorizer. No complaints.

This house was so adorable. It was decorated really nicely and had all of the little things you could need. Christina was great at communicating and I would stay again.
