What a wonderful stay! Booked this for a little getaway for New Year’s Eve! House was so clean, yard was so cute with trees, lights, hot tub and fire pit! We made use of it all and the dogs absolutely loved the fenced in area! Beds were comfortable, kitchen stocked with essentials and the waffle station is such a cute addition and we all ate waffles the morning we checked out! We will definitely be back in the warmer weather to stay and check out some of the local sites

We had a wedding in the mountains and at last minute found a cottage. It was very peaceful and nice, when we had any issues or questions the host was very prompt to answer. Overall it was a great experience for my Family, The kids enjoy playing around in the open field. The creek was beautiful, The heater worked so the cottage was always nice and warm. There was always something for family to do. Overall great price and pleasant stay. We would definitely book with the Host again.

What a lovely semi remote getaway that is only 10 minutes outside of downtown Brevard. Loved the hot tub, the plants, the many kitchen amenities, and the string lights on the deck!

We enjoyed our stay! Perfect set up for our family of 5. The house is charming and updated with nice decor. Very clean and comfortable! We loved how private the property is. Very nice hot tub and fire put area!! Hosts extremely responsive, arrived almost immediately with a space heater when we reported difficulty with one unit. We found lots of fun things to do and see in surrounding towns! Perfect family getaway!

Our family of four had a wonderful time. The hot tub and sauna were welcome treats after a day of hiking. We each had plenty of room and more could have stayed comfortably. While the TV and Internet service were great, we didn't use it much since our goal was to spend time together. The game room and foosball table were unexpected bonuses. The location was excellent and we had no lack of activities despite feeling pleasantly secluded. Gorges National Park is 5 minutes away with trails for every level of hiker. There are a variety of restaurants just minutes away with beautiful views. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

I very rarely write reviews. I had to here. This was hands down the best customer service we have ever seen. The approach was outstanding and the facilities were so relaxing. The homes (as properly listed) are smaller tiny home like setups which are perfect for a super cozy event. We will absolutely be returning!

This place was a perfect fit for our family. It was clean and well stocked with plenty of amenities. The neighbors were friendly and helpful as well. We are frequent visitors to Brevard as our family is from there, and will definitely book to stay here again!

Booked a very last minute trip and Laura was wonderful to work with. It’s super cute and quaint and private, but we walked to all of downtown easily everyday for coffee, breakfast, shopping, breweries or dinner. Linens plentiful and beds comfortable. Seating comfortably for 4 in family room and kitchen and porch and patio. Had everything we needed and Laura is a great to communicate with. Would 100% stay again.

This property was very nice. It was everything I was looking for in my annual escape up to the NC mountains. A old little house with just the right amount of modern amenities. Chock full of pictures and personal letters in frames around the house in all the rooms. I thought it was very interesting to be able to have an inside into a family’s history. The hosts were very responsive to quests and a request to bump up the checkin date, extending our stay by 2 days.

We had an amazing Thanksgiving at Bears Rest. The views are amazing. And the cabin is super spacious. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a meal or full size Thanksgiving meal. We have stayed in lots of rentals before but this place was stocked like your own home. We loved the hardwood throughout especially while it is bring pet friendly. The beds were super comfy and the fireplace made for a cozy atmosphere. The location is great! Quick 15 min drive to downtown Brevard (very quaint little city)endless trailheads for hiking within 15-30 min but super private as it’s the last house up the road. Communication was fantastic. Alisha was super fast to respond and we even extended short note. We are already thinking of future dates, as a few hiking spots were still closed due to the Helene aftermath. But Brevard and the Henry Mountain was luckily spared!

The Lake Glenville area is beautiful. The home is up above the lake about 15 minutes, but the gated community where it is located is quiet and offers lots of amenities for the guests. We had three couples sharing this home and it worked out well. There were some minor hiccups, but the host was very responsive and helpful. We loved the area and would definitely return. We did book a tour of the lake with Captain Mark and would recommend it for anyone wanting to see the waterfalls and learn about the history of the area.

We had a great stay at a cute home, town within walking distance of downtown. The cabin was fully furnished with everything we needed, including coffee for the morning. Thanks so much for taking care of all our needs. The lower level can be bit cool on cold days and so I found taking the nice fan in master bedroom closet at top of stairs and point down, kept it nice and cozy down there. We were quite pleased with everything.

John and Lora's place was an ideal choice for our trip. The house was spotless, extremely well-equipped, and we enjoyed the architectural style. The location was both convenient and peaceful. John was a great host, responsive and friendly. We'd definitely stay again.

Jeana was a wonderful host and quick to respond. The king bed and couches were comfortable. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. There were many hikes close by that we enjoyed. The only things to be aware of is the internet wasn’t always reliable and the shower head wasn’t that tall, my husband who is 6 foot struggled. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

Beautiful location and cabin. The area offers a ton of amenities so you will always have something to do. Slight hang up with the gate code but the host was able to get us the correct code.

Beautiful property and an amazing community and location in Cashiers, NC- Chinquapin offers many hiking trails and amenities as a part of the community. The cabin is a perfect size for a small group and is very comfortable and has amazing views of the surrounding mountains! The host/ owners are great and communicate very well and present their property with great attention to detail and care. Everyone will enjoy staying at Bear Run cabin in Chinquapin!

Doris and Shanna have set a new standard for hospitality. When I booked their cottage, they sent a comprehensive list of their favorite restaurants and activities in the area. They provided great directions, and getting to and in the cottage was very easy. They had the gas logs going for our arrival, which was lovely on a cold January afternoon. The house had everything we needed (and then some)! Hairdryers are pretty standard in Airbnbs, but this one has shampoo, conditioner and sensitive-skin body wash! There's even separate shampoo and conditioner for men. Our hosts had a personal note of welcome for us and left our a basket of snacks, including the ingredients for S'mores, which we made over the firepit. They had even PRE-BUILT the logs and newspaper in the fire pit for us and covered it with a metal bucket so that all we had to do was light it. I highly recommend this wonderful cottage. We look forward to returning.

We spent five nights at Debbie's cottage over New Year's, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The home is exactly as shown in the pictures—situated on a private, wooded drive that offers plenty of seclusion, but still within a community. The house was spotless and incredibly comfortable with cozy chairs, soft throws, a warm electric fireplace, and a comfortable bed with extra blankets and pillows. Debbie has thought of everything you might need—ample paper products, wall dispensers with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, trash bags, dish soap, and kitchen essentials including fresh spices. You really don’t need to bring anything with you. The outdoor space is fantastic, with a firepit surrounded by overhead lights and a nearby grill. It’s the perfect setup for relaxing and spending quality time with loved ones. Debbie was very responsive if needed. Her cottage was the perfect retreat, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! We will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful home. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with every utensil you will need. The coffee station for morning breakfast was great. I particularly loved the location and access to trails and restaurants. For a single traveler, I greatly appreciated the outdoor lighting, since the days are short. I was also very grateful to have a charger for my electric vehicle. There are many walkable trails in this area.

Indian creek is exactly as advertised and couldn’t be more beautiful. Our boys played in the creek, we picked blackberries, and found everything very tidy and comfortable. We will definitely be coming back.
