Vacation rentals with a sauna in Torridge District

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

Stayed at Sara's airbnb for two nights. Right from the outset, the communication was excellent from Sara. Went with the family to Devon for a birthday treat, and we were not let down. The site was quiet and peaceful, and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. Nice touches with the bottle of wine and basket of fruit when we arrived. Just two nights, but we really enjoyed using it as a base for our journeys around south Devon. Sara was very hospitable on-line and ensured we had everything taken care of. Thank you

Best Place Ever Apartment exceeds the pictures in all ways. Most gorgeous AirBnB I have been to in my life. Host Guy is the sweetest, most helpful man. Make sure you walk to the beach and check the surrounding beacons for a hike.

Des is an absolute legend. We booked this last minute and the speed of his response was equal to the speeds of a peregrine falcon. The place was flawless and we had use of wonderful amenities including but not limited to the tennis court (Harry lost) and outdoor pool. This place is an absolute bargain.

We stayed at this place for 4 nights and had the best time. The apartment was so well equipped we didn’t need to think about anything. Super clean space and perfect location. Lots of modern gadgets. The rooms were beautifully decorated. Easy check in and check out. Added bonus of having a swimming pool and sauna just incase it’s bad weather outside. Ideal parking also. Thank you Emma for a fabulous stay. We’ll definitely come back here when we return to Woolacombe!

A beautiful place with everything you need for a few nights away. The swimming pool and sauna area are immaculate and extremely well done. The apartment is cosy and the outdoor area provides just enough space for a pleasant evening in the hot tub and a small table to eat and drink. The hot tub does take some effort to get going by filling and heating up with wood (as detailed in the welcome pack) so take that into account if you're not used to maintaining fires. We were welcomed by the hosts but other than that left alone in this reasonably private and secluded stay.

The flat was clean, we've had access to the indoor pool, sauna and gym. If you're looking for a cozy place to stay, I will definitely recommend the place.

The location was within walking distance of most of the places we wanted to go. Having off-street parking is an absolute bonus in Exeter, and having room for 2 cars was fantastic. The proeprty has been modernised, itwas clean with good natural light and was excellent value. If we require accommodation in Exeter again, we would be trying to book here again

Very clean, and spacious. The location was perfect for us and we loved the swimming and games room. The staff was also really helpful whenever we needed anything.

We absolutely LOVED this beautiful apartment by the sea. It was our first Christmas away & it had been by far the best. Kathryn had left a beautiful hamper, wine & presents under the tree. The flat is stunning we felt so at home we didn’t want to leave. The beach is 5 mins walk if that & it’s probably one of my favourite beaches we’ve visited so far. We will definitely be back again. Probably in the winter as we don’t like too many people! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay ❤️

We have just arrived home after a fantastic stay. The lodge was beautiful with everything that we needed. There is lots to do locally as well as in the resort. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked for another stay in Easter. Thank you once again.

We only stayed for 2 nights but we had the best time! There were 2 beautifully decorated Christmas trees and the overall feel of the house was very warm and cosy. The kids definitely made use of the games room and movie room and it’s a lovely place to make lots of memories with family.

We had a lovely stay . The caravan was comfortable, clean and warm . The caravan was very well equipped with everything you need . Robert was very communicative . throughout our stay and we will definitely re-book again .

David is a very responsive and friendly host, he answered all my silly questions before the arrival. Place was as described with beautiful, warm open plan upstairs. Downstairs was a bit damp but I think it’s due to the way it’s been built, it’s quite shaded from sun. Overall the surrounding was really great, peaceful and with lots of things to do. David has provided us with some leaflets and recommendations on the local must see. We’ve had a wonderful time in Cornwall.

We had a celebratory weekend in northill cottages and Sabrina and rich were really accommodating and provided some extra touches to make the weekend special which was really appreciated. The cottage was warm and comfortable, and the kids loved the pool. We hope to come back and stay again

We had a very relaxed time and Saj was super responsive and very detailed in what we needed and what was around for us to do. The house had everything we needed and was very clean and have to say lovely pillows and duvet 😁 would highly recommend

We have just spent 5 days in Robin's place. It was wonderful. The chalet is ideal for a multi-generational holiday. We were bowled over by the 2 lounge areas. Both very spacious and welcoming. The downstairs balcony was an ideal space for young children. The hot tub was such a delightful unexpected surprise, all warmed up and ready to go. The location is great, just off A39 and easy reach of the coast and local shops. The chalet was warm and cosy and decked out for Christmas. The pool was warm and was even open on Christmas Day. This was the setting for a very memorable family Christmas. Thank you for all the care and attention to detail. We loved it.
