How is this a real place! Absolutely beautiful as soon as you hit the gate. Stayed here for a wedding at Crows Nest and all of us agreed we would stay here again. I put up a few photos on my socials and had several people ask where we were staying, it looked that enticing! Thank you Julie for opening up your beautiful home.

Amazing 360 views from top of the mountain, great mountain walks, at night you can see the Milky Way and no mobile phone reception was a blessed relief (wifi is available but preferred to go off grid). Camp fire in evenings and long walks in the day. Peace & Seclusion at it best.

‘Cranley’ is a lovely lifestyle block on the Northern edge of Toowoomba. The rustic accommodation was spacious and very comfortable, with a wide terrace overlooking a large in ground pool - a great spot to relax. The place is ideally suited for a family, with a selection of toys, books, and games for all ages - plus DVDs. However, it’s equally a relaxing retreat for couples. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and with a small menagerie of animals to pet and feed, it definitely delighted the grandchildren when they came to visit. We look forward to our next time there

Our 2 young boys had the time of their lives taking alpacas for walks, feeding chickens, milking cows, riding horses, building a fire and exploring the farm. Great experience and the perfect setting to spend quality time with the family. Farmer Kath is so lovely and her hospitality is what makes the stay so great

fantastic little place

This place is just gorgeous and the best sport for a peaceful getaway. The little touches - local eggs, cookies, body care products, were so simple but so thoughtful and really made us feel welcome and relaxed. Hardly any signal which made it a perfect off the grid zen zone. The home is so aesthetic with beautiful attention to detail. Very cute horses and cows too!! Kim was super responsive and gave really helpful tips on what to do nearby with our dog! Highly recommend.

Whispering Downs is heaven on earth. Jo was so lovely and welcoming. The tiny home was perfection, with two adults, two children and a fur baby there was ample space for us to enjoy. The beds were super comfortable, and the skylight above the main bed was gorgeous. Will 100% be back and recommend it to anyone looking to escape to the country.

Charming and beautifully renovated, this house is clean, comfortable and well appointed. Julia and Tim are welcoming hosts and went to a lot of effort to make us feel right at home. Peaceful surrounds, birdsong and delightful sunsets make this stay a winner. Thankyou!

Spent 2 nights at the treehouse for our 10th wedding anniversary. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Spa has a fabulous view. Peta and Rob have a beautiful little hideaway that is relaxing and very private. Lots of thought gone into the little things. Robes hanging, picnic rug/basket, supplied breakfast 10/10 amazing weekend.

I’d highly recommend a visit to Kim’s place. It is perfectly located and quiet, but Kim has filled the cabin with fun things to do. The rain prevented us from using the outdoor bath (which looked spectacular) and the balcony, but that didn’t stop us from having an amazing time. Kim has kept the place in pristine condition, and there are ample kitchen supplies to use. We wished there was still a fold-out couch, but that is only a minor thing.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at The Nesting Post—a truly relaxing and tranquil retreat. The beautifully restored cottage was absolutely gorgeous, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. One of our favorite moments was sitting on the front verandah, watching the sky transform at sunset while listening to the abundant birdlife. Ros was a fantastic host, providing great recommendations for local walks. We completed both the Queen Mary Falls and Browns Falls walks, which were scenic and easily done in a few hours. For dining, we highly recommend the Railway Hotel in Allora for a delicious meal, and if you're looking for quality local produce, the Allora butcher is a must-visit. A perfect getaway—we’d love to return!

Such a great find! Even better than we expected. It’s cottage and cute but also so clean and comfortable. The small touches of flowers in earth room, eggs and staples in the fridge and pantry really made this stay special. The kids absolutely loved the animals and the space to run around. Highly recommended as a place to tune out and reconnect (we couldn’t figure out the TV but it was a blessing in the end!) Thank you Beth for all of your hospitality!

We had a lovely country stay. Lots of open spaces, wildlife and country charm to enjoy. The kids loved collecting eggs from the friendly chickens, and meeting Harry the dog. A beautiful location to relax and unwind. We will definitely stay again.

Amazing place and amazing host. Not inly a host but great tour leader in farm for my kids. The best place for kids to have new amazing experience. The house is so beautiful and clean. I love the decoration and design. Sharni and her husband are amazing people who care a lot for guests. She showed us an app to use to enjoy the night sky. Such an amazing sky at night around the fire pit. We love everything, took lots of photo. Peaceful spot who everyone enjoy from kids to adults. Thanks a lot Sharni. We surely back again with friends❤️

We had a wonderful weekend away with our kids. They absolutely loved swimming in the creek, exploring the camp grounds and admiring the animals. The house was clean and as pictured (bigger in real life) it had everything we needed and more. Bed was super comfortable too which is a bonus. The owners were lovely and it was a really peaceful 'farm stay'. Thanks so much for having us.

Such a beautiful place for a weekend getaway. Peaceful and private and clean and comfortable with anything you need. The loveliest bathroom tiles! Very responsive and helpful hosts, especially as a last minute reservation. The cows add a fun touch. Nice and close to town but far enough away. Honestly so great!!
