Vacation rentals in Tomiya

Great place to stay near Yamagata station (there were busses but we sometimes had to walk due to time which takes longer and is rough in colder weather so keep that in mind). Overall we enjoyed our stayed and accommodated our large group well, just be prepared to take turns showering. Instructions were very clear for English speakers and hosts were responsive and helpful :) would definitely stay again if we’re ever back in Yamagata!

The house with hot springs is simply perfect, and the renovation has a Nordic cabin feel, as a self-driving tour, I highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back next time!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The heating was excellent, keeping the house warm and cozy thoughout our stay. The beds were comfortable. One of the highlights was the outdoor onsen! It was such a relaxing experience especially during the colder weather. The washer/dryer combo was a huge convenience. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend to I’d place for anyone for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway.

Next to train station. Very spacious. Heaters in the room took a bit to warm up the room. Rooms located upstairs. Lots of advanced appliances in the home which was appreciated :). Responsive owner. Comfortable beds. Patio located on second level. Check in with keypad. Local recommendations in handbook appreciated.

Three generations of 12 people + 1 dog stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. The room was kept clean and pet friendly, but I didn't mind the smell at all (there was an air dog) We stayed in the winter, but the room was warm, and the heater in the living room ran out of kerosene on the first day, but even without it, it was enough to warm up with other heating devices. Above all, it was full of hospitality, and when I told them in advance that my elderly parents would be staying and bringing a dog, they provided a shower chair with a backrest, set a gauge (with a water heater), and I had no inconvenience. The managed person lived nearby, and I was relieved that they were able to respond quickly to questions and problems. From this base, it was a full three days, such as sightseeing at Shiogama Shrine and Matsushima, fireworks and BBQs in the courtyard (although it was cold💦), and mahjong indoors. If I get another chance, I want to take care of you.

Spacious and comfortable

Outstanding place - one of the best I’ve stayed in via Airbnb. Excellent value to have a whole little Japanese house to yourself in a quiet area on the top of a hill. It’s the little things that all add up to make this special: clear translated instructions on all the electronics, all you need to cook in the fully equipped kitchen, Japanese his & hers robes you can wear with diagrams on how to tie the knots in the traditional fashion, free washing powder for the laundry machine, and more. Bed is a futon style mattress on the floor and extremely comfortable - I am a very finicky sleeper and often have problems but not here. The cherry on top is the free use of the e-bike - there’s not much to do in Onagawa (which is why I went there, wanted to go somewhere “real” and non touristy) and there’s only so much you can see on foot. With the bike I had two splendid rides through the countryside / hills and around the bay - it was really a special experience. Hosts are amazing & helpful!

This villa is located in a well-managed community near Zao Ski Resort. The house is large and well-equipped I have a great time here

The location is great, you can walk to the main attractions of Matsushima.The house is fully equipped and the management is enthusiastic and quick to respond.It is a very recommended accommodation option to visit Sendai
