This was a great place to stay. Full of Japanese character. The hosts kept contact and we were sent a message with the local places to eat. Florence was very helpful at finding out how to forward our luggage onto our airport hotel too. Thanks very much.

Beautiful home and close to station.

The kitchen was fully equipped.You can also buy sweets, ice cream, pizza, and alcohol, and enjoy it without having to go shopping! The interior was cute, and I had a full holiday with Netflix connected.

We had a wonderful stay here. It’s a lovely older style house with great amenities, in particular, the sauna and inside and outside baths (great after being out in the cold). We were fortunate to be there when the town was covered in snow and looked very beautiful. The staff was very extremely helpful. We had our luggage delivered to and from a transport outlet in the town and they picked it up and then dropped it back off there for us. I highly recommend it.

If you are looking for a great traditional Japanese accommodation this is it! Such a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. The home itself is approx 25min away from Kyoto city but it is very very easy as the train is within 5 mins walking of the property and goes straight into the city. We loved our stay here and recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Kyoto!

Shoichi was very helpful. Picked us up from the station, we had no car - which is really needed to explore the beautiful area.. Very spacious log cabin with all modern conveniences.comfy beds, huge tv and great kitchen space... Nice place to stay for a few nights with amenable and friendly host.

We absolutely loved this space. It was exactly what we needed after an intensive first week of travel in Japan. We were looking for something similar to a Ryokan but was more private. The large tub was the main reason we booked and it absolutely did not disappoint. It brought us all the zen we needed. The host allowed us to drop our bags early as well so we could explore and come back later for check in. Thank you for this lovely space. We wish we could have stayed more nights!!

We had chosen this house because of its apparent cleanliness, beautiful view on Mount Fuji and convenient location. We were delighted with our choice! The host is also very helpful and responsive. Would definitely book again if back in the area.

Great Value for money.The surroundings are extraordinarily tranquil, the feeling of living in the woods, and more than 10 deer come to graze near the house every afternoon. The house is super large with all the comforts and oversized yard in front of large floor to ceiling glass. If you come, you can buy some food in the surrounding supermarkets in advance.

What a fantastic place to stay, it was a beautiful example of Japanese house with wooden walls, sliding doors, mats in the bedroom. The kitchen with all its gift treats was a delight, and the garden outside was lovely. This Airbnb was better than described, and the host [Hana] very responsive and helpful. We found a GREAT cafe on the first day which also was a mineral museum, and can recommend the Chicken Village pub/restaurant which was only 700m away.

From communication in advance to responding on the day of stay, I had a quick and pleasant stay.The food was delicious, and the pool and the children were satisfied many times.I want to stay again!

Great stay! Definitely worth every penny. The in-house onsen is fantastic and we enjoyed it a lot.

We wanted a stay under the sign of tranquility and regeneration, and this was quite possible in this pretty cottage, very warm, in the heart of nature and perfectly equipped. We booked the sauna for 3 hours, the afternoon of our arrival, and everything was perfect: the installation is of very good quality, impeccably clean, and it was a very pleasant time. I had prepared a meal in advance that I was able to warm up in the oven on site. The amenity of the property is really convenient. The hosts are very friendly. Our only regret is not being able to stay one more night there.

I am very satisfied. Complete and clean facilities. Easy to find and the instructions given are accurate. Most importantly I can feel the snow falling and the amazing snow atmosphere. Incredible home with onsen near the central area of Hakone. On a clear day, majestic views of Mount Fuji can be seen from the front of the house. The onsen requires around 15 minutes or so of cooling down with cold water, but it was the highlight of our trip. We appreciate all the small touches that make this Airbnb unit feel like a home away from home. If you're capable of walking, you can save yourself the need to rent a vehicle and walk the 15 min to and from town. However, having a vehicle will unlock several hiking opportunities in the area. I highly recommend staying here

We used it for offsite Mtg of the company. It's a very private space. A team of 6 people can have a Mtg in the room. We also had a warm and welcoming stay outside at the BBQ. They came to pick us up at the meeting point. He was kind enough to guide and guide the accommodation, and carefully taught how to use it. It was a very satisfying stay! There are also plenty of plates and dishes around the kitchen, and you don't have to buy them. The BBQ grill and wood stove were also a good experience. The beds and buses were clean and the jacuzzi bath and sauna were satisfactory. It is located in the mountains, so the beetles come in from somewhere, but you love them. There are also many insecticidal spray, so people who are not good at it can also be dealt with. Thank you for a very satisfying stay!
