Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Timaru District

This place is exactly as described, only much more homely. The outdoor area is beautiful; the house is just like being at home. We found everything we needed. The township is very close has everything you could want, including very friendly locals. I will definitely stay again.

A beautiful tranquil haven for those looking to escape from the world for a few days. Stunning views in a wonderful private location with the added bonus of a hot tub. It honestly doesn’t get better than this. What’s not to love?! Sadly 2 nights was not enough for us:( It everything we wanted and more. Beautiful walks straight from your doorstep and we were even welcomed by the local farmer who invited us in for a cup of tea. Geraldine is a great town a short drive away offering everything you need - a superb supermarket, takeaways and restaurants . If we ever return to this area (and I really hope we do) we would not hesitate to book this beautiful cabin again. Highly recommended.

The house is clean and tidy, the environment is private and quiet, and the house is fully equipped with household items (except for washing detergent detergent detergent).Awesome stay.

A lovely little crib like cottage welcomed us with a warm fire on arrival. The space was toasty and clean, with a comfy set up. It is obviously taken care of with pride. There was a decent kitchenette giving the option to cook our own meals, comfy beds and a decent shower. We were minutes away from the Sharplin Falls track, which we got to see raging with water in the rain and not too far from Peel forest where there were walks aplenty. There are a lot of great places to spoke out to and have creature comforts to return to at night. The crib is tucked in by the host's home but still felt private, and had a lovely creek running behind the immaculate garden. Great hosts, good getaway for relaxing, hill walking and exploring the many sights of South Canterbury. 5 stars.

We had such a lovely stay at Charlottes and Chads cottage. It was a beautiful little spot with the most beautiful view. We had everything we needed, the kitchen was stunning, and very well equipped. It was very easy to find and we would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a little getaway with a view and some peace and quiet. Thank you again!
