As a large group taking part in the local festivities, this location accommodated us perfectly! The units are spacious, clean and have ample beds, couches and even extra chairs for meals together as a group! Great TVs, and entertainment available to guests like some board games and cards and poker chips. We felt right at home and really appreciated Sandra’s hospitality!

Staying in one of Trisia's properties is always our first choice when we're traveling to the Houghton area. The rental offers just about everything you could think of or need. It's very comfortable. We also love that it is above Roy's bakery. We can just walk downstairs and choose whatever we want to eat- donuts, salads, pasties, sandwiches. It overlooks the canal, is within walking distance of downtown and just a drive to lots of interesting historical locations and beautiful scenic sites.

Great place! Have stayed here a couple of times now and it’s always been a pleasure. Modern, clean, and all the amenities you need!

A wonderful place to stay and explore in Calumet. I was able to take a yoga class in the studio below and enjoyed looking at all the beautiful things in her store. The rental is walkable to many interesting spots. The antique store and record store were my favorite. We visited Swede Town for sledding and snowshoeing. The rental was warm and cozy to come home to. Thank you for all your thoughtful touches!

We really enjoyed our stay during Winter Carnival. The location was perfect and we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. The place was cozy and had all the amenities we needed. Talia responded immediately to our messages and was very welcoming. I recommend staying here, especially when visiting MTU.

I loved her cozy Airbnb! Felt like I was home 🏡 but a lot colder and way more snow 😊. Very very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals which is not always the case. PLENTY of sleeping room. It was just my daughter and I but wanted to check it out for the summer time and I will try to rent it again for then. Cheryl was super sweet and kind. We had an issue but she was very quick to respond and fix the situation. GREAT host! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

What a charming home away from home. We loved that a piece of local historical architecture has been not only restored, but preserved. 5 stars on the house and incorporating so many original items into a truly functional modern house.

Had a great time staying here for our snowmobile trip. Located right on trail 3 was very convenient. House was perfect for our group. Place has the perfect charm! Plenty of parking for trucks,trailers, and sleds. Beds were comfortable and rooms large enough for everyone to have space. Host were great and very informative of check-in and assistance in locating the property if needed. Looking forward to coming back.

Gloria is a great host! Everything was very clean and so many amenities. Littlest details like liquid hand soap,shampoo conditioner,cooking utensils and even laundry soap and many more things that make it feel like home. We cooked a meal for our friends and our MTU students for 9 guests,we all had room to sit and we really had a great time hanging out together so much better than a hotel we’re we’d have to meet them at a restaurant and not have time to talk. We felt very comfortable and it was warm considering it was cold and snowy outside along with fantastic soft cozy bedding . After a long day out in the snow it was so nice to come back to warmth. I love that it’s an old home it reminds me of the homes I grew up in but definitely less drafty! They have all new windows and little wall heater fireplaces on the walls up stairs along with an actual heater stove that is programmed to start up if it gets to cold.. I’m always cold and I never got chilled once. We’ll definitely be back!

As usual, I greatly enjoyed our stay up at Larry's place/Nordic Oasis. The rental is an excellent home base to enjoy the North Shore from, and it's very enjoyable spending time in the unit. The rental is well decorated and comfortable, as well as functional. I can't wait to head back up. I'm a very satisfied customer, and highly recommend the place.

This was our second stay at Christina and Jeremy’s condo. They are very friendly and responded quickly when we communicated. The condo has so many wonderful features, such as comfy bed and furniture, and well stocked kitchen. I was pleased to find their array of coffees and teas for our enjoyment as well as a cabinet filled with spices that we may have forgotten and could use. They had many items in the hallway closet for guest use, such as headlamps and backpack, along with broom and vacuum cleaner. And don’t worry if you forgot your toothpaste. The bathroom cabinet had tons of essentials for guest use. Christina and Jeremy’s attention to detail and their anticipation of items that would be useful or necessary for guests is so awesome! And their instructions for check-in, checkout, and procedures while staying in their condo were very precise and easily understood and carried out. Their condo at Chateau Leveaux is a favorite for us. We will definitely be back!

Bluewater is exactly as described- beautiful views of Lake Superior and cute and cozy. The fireplace was especially lovely to have, and the bedroom/bathroom/kitchen were perfect for our needs. Great place and easy drive to both Tofte and Lutsen Mountain.

We loved our stay at Mikhala’s place. It was very convenient to the ski resort and the setting was magnificent.

The condo was cozy! Loved the option of building a fire. Great location and great amenities.

Loved Melanie’s place! An excellent price with an incredible view of the lake. Very convenient location for our skiing trip at Lutsen. The only bummer was the sauna in the condo was currently out of order.

It was great for a weekend skiing at Lutsen! The amenities were wonderful, and we loved the shared hot tub after a long day on the slopes.
