Beach house vacation rentals in Thrumster

We are a family of four with kids aged 4 and 8. This accommodation was perfect for us. There were two bathrooms so we didn’t have to share with our kids! There were ceiling fans and air con on the top bedroom which was essential for good sleep in the summer heat. We were walking distance to the coastal path and our nearest easy access beach was Flynn’s Beach which is great for the kids and has a good Cafe. The unit has off road parking and all amenities. I was pleased there was an air fryer available - first place I’ve been to that has had that. There were also four beautiful Tawny Frogmouth Birds that came and went from the backyard which was really special. We also visited the Billabong Zoo, Wildnets and a Maze as well as exploring the local coastline. Great stay!

We had the best stay with our two boys and small pup at The Longhouse! It was quiet and peaceful. Gudrun was so helpful with anything we needed! It was stress free and lovely!!! The most comfortable beds ever!!!! Thank you for having us!

Kylie’s home was exactly as pictured and described! Allowed us to check-in early which was great. It’s on a quiet street, and walkable to the beach. Highly recommend!

The location of Norfolk Beach House is excellent. The views from the verandah were beautiful. It really was a peaceful place to stay. The beds were super comfortable and the linen provided was lovely and fresh. The house itself pretty much provided everything we needed with the downstairs room being a great space for young teens. We would definitely stay again.

We loved our family getaway at the bunker! Was perfect for our tribe. Loved our nightly campfires, that was a highlight for me to top off our fun filled days on the water! Would def love to stay here again!

It was a clean fenced property, brought my 3 yr old covoodle puppy for his very 1st getaway. he loved the front yard to play. Wish there was outdoor chairs or bench to sit n enjoy the front yard. There is a beautiful small BBQ area at the back but felt really warm to sit there. also recommend a quieter ac unit for the rooms. enjoyed the free games/cards n kitchen necessities . will recommend.

We had the best time at Liz’s place. The house was great for the whole family. The pool and outdoor showers were everyone’s favourite. The view was also amazing and we were lucky enough to see Whales most days. The kitchen was also very well stocked. Liz had thought of everything!

Danielle's place is perfect for a group of friends or a large family. Really comfortable with great relaxing spaces at both ends of the house. Close to beach and the coastal walk. We had a group of 6 friends and had a fantastic break.

We had a wonderful experience at Omanu-Family Home. The space was excellent, featuring a fully equipped kitchen stocked with plenty of groceries, which made our stay even more convenient. We also appreciated the added amenities, including board games and a washer and dryer with detergent provided. The only downside was that the heated pool was not working. Despite this, we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay!

Sue's place was beautiful and quiet. it felt just like home. the ps5 was a hit for our young fella pictures of the home were just as advertised Sue was more then helpful when I msged her. will definitely book again. thankyou Sue for our first ever Airb&b experience it was an absolute pleasure having you as our first host and made me feel at ease..

Eileen was a wonderful host for us. The house was lovely, easygoing, clean and well stocked with appliances and kitchen and bathroom necessities. Although there is no air conditioning there is plenty of windows to let the breeze in. The pool was great and big; plenty of room to swim, lounge and relax. Quiet and friendly neighbourhood with short distance to beaches and town. Great location. We had a great time felt right at home. Thank you Eileen

This is the second time staying in this home and it’s great. You feel like you are staying with a relative it has everything you need and Harrington is a little slice of heaven.

We had a fantastic stay at Lat 31 Guest House. It is a beautiful home with comfortable furniture. All the appliances are high end. The kitchen is well equipped to cook your meals. The view of the ocean is a dream. You can walk to the endless beach in 2 minutes. There is a wonderful lap pool with a waterfall wall, it like a fountain. Anne and Rob are kind and generous in their quick responses to our needs. The home is tastefully decorated with little clutter. There are endless coastal hikes, rainforests, national parks and fabulous beaches close by. Also excellent food shops a short drive away. We would be happy to stay here again.

Absolutely stunnning view in such an amazing spot! House was perfect for our family and we couldn’t have asked for a better place!

Our family of 5 loved staying here. There was lots to do at the home and within 5 minutes drive/15 min walk. Beaches are really close by and the private pool was divine. There was enough room for both, teenagers and parents, to have some quiet time but still spend time together as a family. Beds were comfortable and the home was well appointed with everything you’d need. The welcome folder was a handy source of local recommendations. Simon was a friendly host, with fantastic communication. Port Macquarie has so much to do and no one ever complained that they were bored! We would highly recommend this home, hopefully we will stay again soon!

We had a great stay at Dallas & Cassie's place in Hat Head. The house had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. It's in a nice, quiet location, walking distance to everything. Highly recommend!

Near the Beach was our perfect getaway. The house had everything we needed...and more...(ping pong!) Clean, cosy, well appointed and homey. Kristina is a wonderful host. And who doesn't love what Crescent Head and surrounds have to offer. Highly recommend.

Lovely home to stay in. Right by the beach and the pool was great! Rooms were spacious and kitchen was great! We had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Alison’s place in Crescent Head is beautiful! We had a lovely stay with our 4 month old baby and doggy. Picnics under the flame tree in the front yard and barbecuing on the deck. Short walk to the beach and shops. And Sea Sea down the road is a great spot for cocktails! We had to change our booking last minute due to a family emergency and Alison was very accomodating in allowing us to change our check in time. All around a perfect first holiday with our new family member. Thank you Alison!
