Vacation rentals with a patio in Thorpeness

we had the most fantastic stay and will definitely be back. we've been to lowestoft before but the location here made it even better. sea views from the apartment. the place is immaculate. I was worried about noise from neighbours as we usually stay in houses, but it's over 2 floors with the bedrooms being on the top floor - perfect. the kitchen is brand new as are the bathrooms, no expense has been spared. the beds are very comfy and the linen was amazing. even a bottle of bubbly waiting for us - thank you! our only very minor quibble was the blinds in the bedrooms don't fully cover the windows, we wore eye Masks which was no drama but our 6 year old was up very early every morning. next time we will pack a travel black out blind. that's our only very minor issue in a perfect and stunning apartment. thank you 😊

I promised Peter, at his asking, to give suggestions as to how to make a guest visit better. Well, I’ve come up with a blank. Everything was perfect, well thought through, generous, spotlessly clean.

Just got back from a lovely stay over New Year. We loved how they’d put some Christmas decorations inside and the accommodation was lovely with everything we needed. There were even a few treats on arrival which was a nice surprise. Would definitely stay here again.

Rachel is a very lovely person the house was beautifully kept so peaceful, I love the fact that she has a electric charging port Which I did use to charge my car after charging my car the next day I asked Rachel how much was the cost and she was so honest and told me the price and told me not to worry about it. I think that was really nice of her. I would recommend

Modern chalet with everything we needed. So many little touches that we weren't expecting, a very nice welcome pack, lots of tea and coffee, salt and pepper loo rolls, etc. It was cold and wet for most of the time we were there but the chalet was warm and cosy. Big enclosed decking area for our dogs. Will be looking to book again.

She is a great host and the place is perfect to stay. And when I visited there I forgot take my charger with me and she even gave me her charger to use. Comes with a very own small kitchen too. Which was very useful. Highly recommend this place.

The Annexe was a lovley getaway for us. The property was cosy, clean and felt just like home. Very quiet and peaceful. Anne was a very helpful and responsive host and was always just a message away. The property is well equipped and heated up very well which was needed for the colder evenings. Comfortable bed, stocked up kitchen and all round the ideal place the stay

This place was perfect for mine & my partner’s time away, very modern and easy to find. The location was perfect and had beautiful surroundings the pub next door very friendly. The parking was a tight squeeze to get down to and the shower was quite small but apart from that I couldn’t fault anything else, thank you for accommodating us we would definitely stay again!

A lovely little house with everything needed for a home away from home. Situated in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance of the seafront and town centre. Beautifully decorated with a cosy relaxing vibe a lovely place to stay.

We stayed for one night after attending a local wedding. The annex was very clean and well-presented. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was lovely. Lydia was really proactive at replying to messages and answering questions. Overall, a nice place to stay for a quick trip.

Property is a mixture of architectural and decorative styles with an interesting, quirky character. Good heating and overall facilities with well-equipped kitchen. Only downside with the kitchen was that the oven hadn’t been completely cleaned of grease after previous residents. There are two en-suite bathrooms but no downstairs toilet, so the 3rd bedroom guest will have to use one of the en-suites. Towels and bedding were clean and comfortable. Christmas trees were a nice, seasonal touch. There is a general stores and good cafe just 20m away and an excellent pub/restaurant around the corner. Parking is on-street but not difficult to find a space nearby. There are good walks around the minor roads, farmland and village common nearby. The castle can be accessed with a key obtainable from the stores. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place! Would highly recommend, very clean and tidy. Gavin has been a wonderful host and very responsive.

I wish there was a higher rating than great. Sarah and her beautiful property were outstanding. What an amazing welcome. Fresh milk and orange juice left in the fridge for us. Property is beautiful and the perfect welcome after a long drive. I can not say better things about this property. But wait, there’s more. What an incredible host. We were going to an event a bit further up the road and left our border collie at the property. Knowing that he barks occasionally when he’s lonely I sent Sarah a message asking if she could let me know if it got too much. Well Sarah did, but only after she and her girls had gone in to see Mickey to make sure he was ok and gave him a big fuss. When we arrived back from our event Sarah’s wonderful girls had drawn an amazing picture of Mickey and created a card for us all saying how much they loved him and what a wonderful dog he was. Above and beyond helping us know that our dog was well and looked after. We will be returning to meet you all. X

Lovely house in a perfect location within 5 minutes walk of the beach. Seb was a great host with helpful instructions and restaurant recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a supper weekend break here in Felixstowe. A clean and homely flat which was nice and quiet. We were able to go on lovely walks from Felixstowe into the surrounding countryside and also managed a trip on the ferry to Harwich. We had a problem with the TV and Amnar messaged us straight away and we sorted it out. A successful break!

Kate & Martin have done a great job creating a self contained space in their home. Very helpful & welcoming hosts, with lovely touches - tea & coffee, biccys, milk etc. Very tastefully decorated & a great location. Would definitely recommend
