Vacation rentals with beach access in The Solent

Lovely place to stay, very peaceful and private in beautiful settings, clean and comfortable, recently renovated and in very good condition, the kitchen and amenities are very good as is the bathroom, Bedroom had plenty of space for our travel cot. Beth was a very welcoming and super responsive host and we were made to feel very welcome.

David and Mandy's place was peaceful, quiet and clean - just what we needed. The parking was very close, Co-op store was down the street, good food just down the steps to the beach. Sheets smelled fresh, beds comfy and the view from the patio was serene. And the bonus discount on the ferry was great! We hope to come back soon.

Great location and a cosy flat with outstanding views. Cosy lounge/ dinner with plenty of space and lovely couch. Comfy beds. Kitchen small but functional.

What a lovey apartment. So well placed, near to everything. Very clean, modern and very comfortable. Will hopefully return next time I'm in Southsea. Thank you Matt for a perfect, relaxing stay.

This flat is truly a haven! Set in a gorgeous old town near waterfalls and beaches, plenty to do! Easy drives across the island for other activities. This place has great parking- you can buy a permit for staying multiple days which works out easier and cheaper! We came for New Year so a lot was closed for winter and we still had an amazing time and hope to return in summer! The flat is just as described and Terry is so helpful with instructions and being easy to contact.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the beautiful apartment. Amazing sea views. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.

Tides is an absolutely beautiful apartment with a stunning balcony that has the best sea views! It was spotlessly clean with lots of little touches that made it feel very homely! Debbie was the absolute perfect host who was extremely helpful & friendly, & responded extremely quickly to my communications. Thank you Debbie we had a truly fantastic stay!

We only stayed two nights but we wished we had stayed longer. The main view out the dining area "picture" window of the beach, sea, surfers, walkers and shipping was simply stunning all day and was an immediate "wow" every time you entered the room. It felt like you were living on the beach!! Would love to go back!

Sarah's place was really nice, bigger than the photos! beds were v comfy and the rooms were lovely. in a great spot just a few mins walk from everything you need. Sarah was very helpful. would definitely recommend staying

Beautiful location with beach and sea views from the garden and terrace, through the back gate of the enclosed garden straight onto the beautiful sandy beach….three generations had an absolutely lovely time here and will definitely be back!

Beautiful house, the large dining table and upstairs sitting room meant it was great for spending time with family. Thoughtful little extras like fresh milk in the fridge, and useful things like dishwasher tablets in the kitchen meant we didn’t have to go out and get everything for a 3-night stay. We felt like we were staying with friends!

My wife & I had a lovely stay at Lynnes place - it was just what we needed. The accommodation was well equipped, beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean. The location was the perfect spot to walk to the beach or into town. Lynne communicated really well with us & considering we made a last minute reservation everything was well prepared for us. Would definitely stay again!

This is indeed a stunning beachfront property. The living area is upstairs. It’s spacious and has great views overlooking the sea. One highlight is the quaint hidden bathroom upstairs where you can have a bath with a sea view! The property is well stocked with everything you may need for a comfortable stay. It has beautiful furnishings and paintings painted. We had a wonderful stay even when the weather did not hold up. Penelope is also a great host. She was very responsive to our needs and made us feel very much at home. This is a great place to stay and I thoroughly recommend it.

Wonderful family weekend in a super house which is ideal for a large gathering. Pippa was great - proactive communications and readily available to answer questions. The house easily accommodated our nine family members aged from 15 to 60. Storm Bert did its best, but we hunkered down with a fire, the cinema room, table tennis table and darts. Oh and plenty of home cooked food ! Kitchen is huge and welcoming for a large party.

Pristine apartment in a quiet street and short stroll to the local shops and beach. We brought our dog and it was ideal. Lots of dog friendly cafes, pubs and restaurants. Super comfy bed and all modern appliances. Jus was really flexible with check in. Hope to return.

4th stay at Marine View, adore the views, apartment and location. Finn is always very helpful, prompt at responding to messages and I cant wait to go back! Highly recommend Marine View.

Worth every penny, place was immaculate and spacious. Location was spot on. 10/10

David and Liz were incredibly helpful from the initial booking through to when we had left their property. They even posted a charger that we left behind which was incredibly thoughtful! Nothing was too much bother and nice touches such as a couple of beers and bottle of Prosecco in the fridge make all the difference. The property itself is a fantastic location and within easy reach of the beach and shops. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend.
