Cottage vacation rentals in The Archipelago

My family and I had a wonderful winter stay at Watersedge Lakehouse. The cottage was beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. Our host made sure we had all we needed and was very helpful with instructions on staying at the cottage , checking in and local recommendations. The main living room was a perfect place to gather and have a warm fire while looking out at the water. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor fire plus the deer wandering about. It was a great place for relaxing and making memories.

We had a wonderful time staying at this Airbnb last weekend! The location is unbeatable, just 10 minutes away from the ski resort, making it incredibly convenient for anyone looking to hit the slopes. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of skiing. The space was comfortable and well-maintained, and everything we needed was provided. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a ski trip. We’ll definitely be back next time!

Daniel gave a thorough intro message of specifics the day of on top of what was already so clearly laid out. The property was beautiful with access to so many activity options. House is clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the dock which had a great selection of furniture and sun/shade options. The beach is a close walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will likely be back to enjoy the space again!

Perfect getaway for a snowmobiling crew like ours. Just a quick ride over highway 11 to the main trail.. it was great to come back to a comfortable and clean environment at the bnb. Lots of games to keep you entertained and basketball was a hit! The BBQ and hot tub were great extras. Felt like a home away from home, and Jason was very helpful from the beginning. Beautiful trip all in all!

Beautiful home. I cannot describe how pretty it looks with the natural frozen lake surroundings, you really have to see it for yourself. Everything was spotless, great location close to Walmart, Bulk Barn, Pet Store and even some Tesla superchargers if you're coming in an EV. The outdoor jacuzzi was a wonderful addition. Kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances and things you'll need (and more)! Neighbourhood is very quiet and the surrounding residences are filled with friendly folks. Only thing to make a note of is the fire pit is not accessible during the winter due to the massive amounts of snow near and on it. All in all, 10/10 would highly recommend and would love to return.

We had a great time at Patrick’s cottage, the location is great, within walking distance from the beach, it’s exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

We had a perfect stay with Pam and Bryan. Their accommodation is beautiful, spotlessly clean, with many amenities that make the stay very pleasant. The communication with them was smooth and warm, which made the experience even better. We left delighted and highly recommend their accommodation!

My experience at Anthony’s cottage was great. He is very responsive. The property is very secluded and peaceful.

We are a family of four with two young kids, and the stay in Azar’s peaceful waters cottage was great. The cottage is beautiful, decorated in very good taste, perfectly equipped and feels very homey. It is very clear that many details have been thought of to make it extremely friendly for guests, particularly for families (for example, there were spare change of sheets in the children’s bedrooms). We stayed there during a snowstorm weekend, so there we didn’t do a lot of travel around the area, but just staying in and hanging around the cottage was beautiful and very enjoyable. The location is very private and quiet. It is a perfect place for families. We would definitely come back to Azar’s cottage to visit the area at other seasons as well.

My family and I had an absolutely relaxing stay at Vanessa’s cabin ! From the moment I booked, the communication was so seamless. Vanessa was incredibly friendly and very accommodating especially during the beginning of our trip when we first checked in. The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could ask for. The location of the cabin was absolutely stunning; the view of the frozen lake made waking up in the morning feel very magical (especially with all the snow fall we received those days). I also appreciated the thoughtful touches Vanessa added to our trip such as having firewood ready for us to use and shovelling the pathway from the driveway to the cabin. I felt so at home and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend staying here, and hope to definitely come back! Thanks again, Vanessa, for making my trip so memorable!

Our family had an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend at Carol's property. The cabin was cozy and charming, the bunkie was super cute and the deck and fire pit were amazing spots to hang out at. It's a short walk to the water and a convenience store/lcbo. Our only issue was that we didn't stay long enough!

Had the best time at Matthew’s cottage. Loved the private hiking trails, the sauna, hanging out in the screened in room at night, view right from the deck, lots of space inside. Matthew is super helpful, & responsive. Such a unique & private setting (we & the kids especially loved the little water crossing from the car to the cottage, made it feel like we couldn’t go anywhere and had to “unwind from the hustle of everyday life”, but in reality such a short distance we could go back to the car whenever needed) . We will definitely be back! Thanks for hosting our family Matthew!

We discovered the perfect secluded getaway in this beautifully maintained property. The grounds were consistently plowed during snowfall, making our winter stay worry-free. The main cottage comfortably accommodated our group of 5, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and a thoughtful welcome kit with snacks and coffee. Two full bathrooms with provided toiletries made sharing the space easy, and the comfortable beds ensured restful nights. The clean, spacious hot tub was perfect for relaxing after outdoor activities, and the reliable wifi kept us connected. We enjoyed both the excellent heating system and the cozy wood fireplace, all while taking in beautiful waterfront views. Killbear Provincial Park, just 40 minutes away, offered excellent winter hiking. Quick tips: bring extra towels as only one is provided per person, and pack slip-on shoes for travelling between cottages. While water has a slight odour, it tastes perfectly fine. We’d love to return in the summer! Highly recommend!

This is a gem find. It was so comfortable and situated 3 minute walk from a beautiful beach. The kitchen was very well equipped the fire pit, the BBQ the outdoor sitting areas were awesome. The beds were comfortable and we slept so well. There is a huge TV with so many channels and content to watch. So easy to settle into a movie after dinner. Very comfortable sitting area. We were 3 adults and we all had space to have some downtime and also to enjoy our company. We would swim and go for 5 km beach walks and drive to very cute small towns and discover the tasty bakeries and cool stores. Everyone we met was so lovely and very relaxed. We had a wonderful time and recommend this pace to everyone. Peaceful, fully equipped, comfortable and 3 minutes from a beautiful beach! What can be better. This cottage is very charming and homey. Our kids loved the second floor bedrooms. The kitchen is remarkably well furnished. If you have kids then you could teach them how to use a woodstove (as noted by our youngest son). The second you walk in, you feel like you've been there for ages, and it reminds you of childhood Summers and other loved cottages.
