Location is away from most so it was very quiet.. Nice creek that flows by. Will stay again

We had a great weekend in this cabin. Upon arrival we were early and our hosts were happy to let us check in early and the cabin was spotless. Beautiful view off the deck and the hot tub was a great way to start the mornings. Short taxi ride to lead and deadwood and Lewie’s is just down the road and a must stop for lunch.

the host was great to communicate with. very nice guy. very quiet community. great location. the bedsheets could be replace more often so it doesn't smell. The sauna broke down on us. besides that the place is great

The lone star lodge was absolutely gorgeous! We loved how the cabin was set back into the woods and how that allowed the views to be of the mountains and not the side of another cabin. This also meant the view from the hot tub was utterly fantastic. We visited the area to take our kids to Terry peak to ski and were gifted with 6” of fresh snow on our 2nd day there. I can assure you that there are very few things in this world more beautiful than being in this lodge with a fire in the fire place and watching the snow fall in the black hills through the gigantic windows. It was absolutely breathtaking! We certainly would love to stay here again and hope to do so in the near future! If only we can plan it so that we could arrive right before a true black hills snow fall! :-)

Very nice campground. The cabin we stayed in was clean and cozy. The site itself was very well equipped and the staff were kind.

Everything was so perfect in this private cabin in Lead! Loved all of the cozy additions like the fireplaces, hot tub, and kitchen amenities to cook. It was clean, easy to locate and instructions were clear. An amazing choice for anyone looking to stay in the area!

Loved the house for the first couple days! make sure to keep on top of the towels when you have a large party and use the hot tub!! the neighbors were a bit hectic but nothing too horrible. was super icy one of the days and one of our cars was front wheel drive and he got towed out so make sure to only take AWD or four wheel drive cars ONLY especially if it might be icy!! (just to preface i told him not to take that car because of the warning in the bio, but he’s stubborn) Otherwise great space! could use a vacuum for messes and to double check the detergent, trash bags etc before letting more people check in, but we made it work! we loved the location super close to Terry Peak!!! w/ a great view of the sunset!

I enjoyed my stay a lot. Very nice cabin and a very nice surrounding.

Wonderful house, our family really enjoyed the location and amenities. Only lament is that the amenities are so numerous that not all were enjoyed, guess our stay was too short. Check in and out was simple and easy. There is an abundance of general supplies that are often lacking in other rentals (detergents, towels, bedding, tools, games and such). The most glowing compliment I can give this airbnb is: "This is what was the service originally advertised, someone's space with all the accoutrements that the owner might need and use provided to a guest." In which I hope we left the home in a state that continues such a social contract. Thank you for lending us your home

Our family had a great stay at Savannah’s place. It was located centrally to all the places we wanted to visit and was a cozy retreat after a day out exploring. We would choose to stay again in the future.

Lenora was helpful. Listing description accurate. Hints for use of amenities greatly appreciated. Listing well kept and good for a family adventure. Breakable decorations few, which was appreciated given little hands we had running amuck. 10/10 would stay again.

Just absolutely love this place! As a frequent visitor to the Black Hills we get an Air BNB cabin about 6 or 8 times a year and this was in the top 5% of places we have stayed for sure! Loved the location and the 2 live creeks right on the property that feed into trout ponds! Forgot to bring a fishing pole but we did see some fish jump out of the water so they must be in there! Thanks again to Carmen and especially to co host Julie who was very responsive and accommodating!

They couldnt have been better hosts. when my son felt sick Bruce sent feel better wishes. Very friendly. Will help at a moments notice. pool was clean. restraunt great. just a peaceful quiet relaxing place. have been there 2 yrs in a row and will return again. Thanks Bruce!!!!

We just had our second stay at Misty Haven, and it was even better than the first! We absolutely love this place and can’t wait to come back again. The cabin is incredibly well-stocked with everything you could possibly need, making it feel like a home away from home. The property itself is stunning—so peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful nature. Derito and Margaret are such a delight and truly add to the charm of the experience. Thank you for making it another amazing stay!

Nice cabin

Great place to stay, especially with large groups. For the time spent at the house everything was great and wish we could have spent more time just hanging out and relaxing on the property but we were very involved in other locations with a reunion. Would love to stay again if and when we get back to the area.

I highly recommend staying here! It’s so cozy and the perfect get away with everything you need and super close to deadwood! The host is fast at responding to anything you need! Absolute best place loves it so much!! Will definitely be back again ☺️

Loved the location. we drove from KY and brought our rzr to ride on trails so it was all easy access from the cabin. It didn't have a/c but we adapted pretty easy with advice from the owner. Very peaceful. Owner was very helpful and friendly. I recommend it to anyone who loves the Black Hills like we do! You're smack dab in the middle of those beautiful ponderosa pines. A+

Was a beautiful place to stay, and the listing matched exactly what we saw when we arrived. The location was also perfect as we were a short drive to town yet felt fairly secluded up in the mountain.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The pictures accurately described the cabin and there was plenty of space for the 8 of us. We would definitely stay there again. The hot tub was nice to have after a long day of sightseeing!

Had a great stay and would book it again for our next family ski trip.
