Vacation rentals with a sauna in Te Waipounamu / South Island

Great place for our short stay. Accomodations were clean and comfortable in a perfect location with everything you need a short walk away. Would happily stay here again.

This was a modern, clean and accessible place to stay. Great, clear communication and lovely host. Excellent having a secure carpark and easy walk to lake/cafes/shops. A relaxing and sunny afternoon spot on the balcony looking at the stunning mountains.

Really lovely place, clean and new with everything you could need and lots of information about the area/things to do. Was located up a little hill but only about a 10 minute walk to the town so super convenient location.

Amazing stay. Location is perfect, being a two minute walk to the lakefront, restaurants. The apartment was spotless with everything you could need in the kitchen, living area. Huge space, more ths enough for big groups however I only stay as a couple. My campervan was too big to fit in the garage but Peter made another space available for me to park so that wasn't an issue. Would recommend if staying in Wanaka!

All the reviews are spot on. Our stay at Kahikatea House may have been the best experience we've ever had using airbnb. From the unique & thoughtful design, the stocked kitchen, hot tub / sauna - to the wonderful time we had chatting with owner Mat - incredible hospitality!! There are countless small details scattered everywhere that we thoroughly enjoyed discovering. If you can... make sure your planned stay includes time to just hang out, flip through the great selection of books and enjoy the space.

We had a great stay here! The location is perfect, just a few minute walk to the lake (near where the church is). The room itself is small and cozy and the 2-person hot tub was such a bonus! Would recommend for sure!

We stayed at the wonderful house of Sue and Harold for multiple days and enjoyed the perfectly equipped kitchen, the beautiful garden and the additional comfort of the whirlpool in the garden. Everything was just great and as described.

Brilliant stay in a very well located house in Arrowtown. We went in peak summer but this would also be a brilliant winter break, near Coronet Peak Ski area and super cute and cosy Arrowtown. Laura was a brilliant host, too. Very considerate and easy to communicate with. One of the best Airbnbs we had!

Wonderful family accomodation fully equipped with all the mod cons, lots of space, amenities (e.g. on site gym , tennis), peaceful and in a great location. Couldn’t have picked a better place to be! Kids loved it.

Beautiful home, fully equipped and responsive host! A cozy home with everything you need from bathroom to kitchen to bedroom and very near Queenstown! Peaceful and love the hot tub and sauna with the mountain view and love the Bluetooth speaker … every night we have 2 dogs visiting us to say hi!
