Wayne was very friendly and responsive, the house was peaceful with plenty of space for guests. The firepit and pizza oven were easy to use and safe with fire extinguishers nearby. Local dairy/takeaway options are nearby and the towncentre is only a 10min drive away. 10/10 Would stay here again. :)

Our family had such a great time staying at this property! The check-in process was super easy, with clear and simple instructions that made arriving a breeze. The house was clean and well-maintained, which made it feel comfortable and inviting. The property managers were fantastic to deal with—friendly, responsive, and really on top of things. They made everything so easy and stress-free. The house itself was beautiful, well-kept, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay.

Melissa and Simon have a fabulous snug retreat in Kinloch. You have everything you need for a peaceful stay: modern thoughtful furnishings, a variety of books, games (Battleship!), a lovely outdoor seating/eating area, and friendly dogs. Breakfast was perfect and we loved the walk around Kinloch Pond. Don’t bother staying in Taupo - Kinloch has it all and you can easily drive to Taupo if you want. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Loved our stay, was the perfect peaceful setting for our little family to relax, unwind and spend time together. The cabin is cozy, comfy and well equipped with loads of lovely touches like a personalise hand written welcome note, the fire pit and fresh eggs for brekkie. Being able to have our dog travel with us made our getaway all the more special.

Wow what a place! Such a beautiful spot to escape the buzz of Taupo and relax after a busy day exploring. Everything you need is there and the place was spotless and so comfortable. Would highly recommend a stay in this little piece of paradise.

We had an incredible stay at the farm! The experience was truly unique, and we especially loved spending time with the animals. The animal feeding tour was such a special highlight for us. It was both fun and educational. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the farm was peaceful and inviting. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable farm experience!

I recently stayed at Ashley’s house, and it was an incredible experience. The house is impeccably clean and tidy, with a stunning view that adds so much to the charm of the place. The meticulously maintained garden and the surrounding area are absolutely beautiful, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. Ashley was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and always easy to communicate with. My family had a wonderful time, and we would definitely love to return in the future! Highly recommended!

Amazing accommodations!!! Raewyn and Kevin are so welcoming. Recommended a fantastic Thai restaurant. Great conversations with them when we returned after supper. Beds are comfortable. Delicious breakfast before we headed out. Complete with a tour of the their gardens. Thank you so much for the lovely stay.

Spectacular views from a comfortable and relaxing space. Only heating is from the fireplace but its easy to light and maintain. All the essentials provided, very comfortable stay.

Moana Roa Lodge was a beautiful little getaway. It was private, with amazing views and the most friendly animals and host. Cathy was really welcoming and made us feel right at home. She was really helpful and accommodating. She also allowed us and our 1 year old to have close interactions with the animals on the property. My daughter absolutely loved it. The breakfast was fantastic and we had everything we needed. We will definitely be visiting again.

It was a pretty rushed visit by us so didn't spend a lot of time at the accommodation. However, in saying that, beautiful setting, lovely views, accommodation was great, everything was spotlessly clean and the neighbourhood is wonderful. Really enjoyed the fact that we had superior accommodation in a spot that's just sublime. Thank you for making our "rushed" visit effortlessly great!

Don was a gracious and thoughtful host. My friend and I felt lucky to share his home for a week. We got to enjoy the bright night sky and bask in the quiet of the countryside yet it's only a quick 15 minute drive from Taupo. There's so many hikes and geothermal sites close by. The beds were comfortable and we used the kitchen to cook several times (including Christmas dinner, which Don joined us for). Kitchen was very well-equipped (inc dishwasher). Don was always available to answer any questions we had; he spent most of the time at his cabin on-site. The dirt road to his house is easy to navigate. Very good value for money, especially considering the size of the house and the number of beds and amenities available. Laundry facilities were great. There's two cats (very shy) and cattle on-site. Internet worked well, shower was good. Toilet and bathtub were separate rooms (appreciated by us). Pictures very accurate. View from lounge was amazing. We miss it already! Thanks so much, Don!
