We only had one night at Greg and Lisa's place as we had a morning appointment to keep, but would have preferred to stay longer. Greg and Lisa were lovely hosts, very welcoming with two very cute poodles. They put out their flag so we could find them easily and I liked how we were separate from the main house. We also had our own private outdoor area (with viewing deck) over the creek; we could see the turtles and a platypus who kept popping their heads out of the water, even though we were located quite high above the creek. The location was a few kilometres out of Malanda, so you can't walk to town, we planned for that and brought our own food, but it would be easy to drive to town for dinner if you want to. I recommend Greg and Lisa's place to anyone who would like to get away from it all, and for anyone who want a great location to stay to visit all the beautiful waterfalls, rainforest walks and other attractions in the Tablelands.

Our stay was so relaxing, beautiful location with a lot of activity options. A lot of lovely wildlife visiting and easy boat access. The house was very comfortable for 8 guests, both inside and out. The lake side area was very comfortable, shady and a lot of seating which made the days extra relaxing. Quiet and private.

Quirky quaint old cottage straight out of the 70s. Magnificent pool. Plenty of room for the extended family. For people looking for a convenient place to stay while experiencing the huge variety of attractions that the Yungaburra region offers, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gillian's place.

We had a fabulous stay in a wonderful location, our host Cassie was terrific, very attentive and easy to talk to , the home was large and lovely with lovely furnishings and decor the view of the lake was just beautiful , they catered for our dog with a bed and blanket which was lovely , the front yard is securely fenced , so he was able to play in the yard , will definitely come back again in the future .

Our two families had a wonderful stay at The Lake House. The pontoon entertained our young sons ALL weekend! They loved it. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the great view. The house was perfect for two families with two bathrooms. Great kitchen facilities overlooking the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a short stay to attend a family event. There was nothing about Hemingways we didn’t like very well appointed and plenty of little extras like fresh local eggs and strawberry jam, unfortunately we didn’t get to try the outdoor bath. We would certainly recommend it and hope to stay again. Fifi was very helpful when my wife left her earrings behind she made contact before we knew they were gone and organised postage. We had a lovely stay at Litoria with my partner, 2 children and small dog. The whole place is very modern and luxurious with gorgeous fittings and stylish surrounds. We loved walking through the public shortcut access to the beach and wandering along the sand at the expansive beach. It was quiet with barely anyone around. We could walk to the skate park, splash park and basketball court which were all together on the beachfront. It was a short drive out to dinner at Mission Beach and the surrounds were picturesque just be careful of the wallabies beside the roads. They were so cute. We also had a visit from a massive green tree frog which was spectacular to see. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful accommodation, gorgeous view, the plunge pool and sauna are such a luxury and so relaxing. Thoughtful breakfast and beautifully decorated space. We would come back in a heart beat.
