Cabin vacation rentals in Taos County

The house and scenery is amazing. There was wildlife everywhere turkey, mule deer and Canadian geese. The house is very secluded and it feels like you’re on top of a mountain by yourself. The only thing that I would knock on this trip is the restaurants in Angel fire. As for the house and Marissa, she did a great job responding to our questions and concerns.

We had an amazing time..! Home was nice and comfortable, there was lots to do, the kitchen was even stocked with things I had brought from home (lol) so I didn’t need them. The store was just down the hill and the ski lifts were not even 5 minutes away, but we had our privacy at the same time… oh and besides being able to interact with the deer we were able to use the sleds that were there and the Hot Tub..!!! So we will definitely be back..!! Plus had the most wonderful Host.!!! Erin was super nice and answered our questions quickly..!!! Truly a home away from home….

The home was more spectacular than we thought. Big and spacious. Definitely recommend this home to any friend or family!

Loved everything about it! Great instructions and recommendations and she was very responsive. It could fit so many people without any issues. Their water heater holds less hot water than I was used to, but we just adjusted, not a big deal.

Great stay minutes away from the ski resort. Beautiful scenery and clean, large house. We had a great stay!

Cheryl’s mountain home was wonderful! Our group consisted of four guys on a “dads’ ski weekend”. The home worked out great! We had plenty of space. We loved cooking dinner and hanging out after a day on the mountain. The hot tub was also relaxing. The home was beautiful and kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed. We are all considering coming back with your families. We’d recommend this moment to any prospective Airbnb guest. Thanks for the great stay.

Marie was a wonderful host. The cabin is the perfect getaway for a large group or multi-family. The pictures do not do it justice. Very spacious! The house is stocked with almost everything you may need. 10/10!!

This was my second time staying in this casita. Both times were for several night stays. I have cooked in the kitchen, gone out on the town, and even ordered door dash this time. It’s cozy and no frills- and the bed is to die for. The linens are good quality. The sofa bed was even nice to have pulled out to watch movies on in the evening. It was quiet enough that we could work from home. Lauren is the best Air B&B host I have ever had because of her quick responses and friendly, direct communication. I’m definitely coming back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cindy’s cabin. She was so sweet and when she saw we had an infant she reached out to let us know she would provide a pack and play and high chair. We were able to walk to the Copper Chair lift in our ski books no problem! We’ll definitely be back!

This charming little place is surrounded by beautiful views of New Mexican landscape. The cabin has large windows flooding the little place with light and enabling you to enjoy the view from every room but the bathroom. Kitchen was fully stocked, beds were comfy, and it's just a little ways up the road from Ojo Caliente so if you're seeking privacy and quiet after a day of soaking this is your place. There is also ample room to wander and explore on foot. The hosts were friendly and very informative about local geology and history.

Diane is an excellent host. Home is decorated very uniquely and clean We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if available! Diane was very accommodating to our last minute date change. Thank you Diane.

We loved our stay at the cabin. The house was well appointed, clean, and so convenient for access to restaurants and skiing. We would love to stay again!

I wish I could give this little cabin in the woods 6 stars. I do have a couple of recomendations. 1. Do not pack a large suit case. The spiral stair case is beautiful but more easily navigated with smaller luggage. 2. If you are going in winter, a 4 wheel drive vehicle is manditory. You are at the very end of fairly long dead end road and, I heard that Red River does not have a tow truck company in town. If is snows a foot or so, like it did for our stay, the road to the cabin and the driveway at the cabin would be impossible with out 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive. Please note this applies to winter only. Eric was a perfect host by being responsive and available to answer questions. Again, 6 stars!!!!!

The value of Erik’s place is unmatched. The location is beautiful and we loved that it was outside of Red River for the peace and quiet but just a quick drive down the mountain for food, shopping, etc. Erik had incredible communication that really helped us to enjoy our trip. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and added bonus of being super pet friendly. We will stay with Erik again!

Kimberly was a fantastic host! Communication with her throughout the trip was smooth and she even had a fresh batch of bread for us when we arrived. The house was the perfect size for our group. The living room and dining area were a great place to gather with one another whether we were eating meals, playing games, sharing laughs, or watching movies. Being tucked away with a few acres surrounding the house made it very easy to admire the scenery of the beautiful pine trees. There isn't a single thing I would change about Kimberly's home. Thank you very much for having us!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. This is such a great part of New Mexico and it was amazing to have access to all the trails and activities nearby with the amenities of this cabin to return to each day. Angela and Mark were great hosts and made us feel so welcome. We highly recommend staying here and are looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful space with room for my whole family. Very clean and well maintained.

We had a great wonderful time staying at Julia’s. She was easy to work with. The area and home are beautiful. There was plenty of space for each of us and the kitchen and wrap around patio is lovely. The linens, sheets, mattresses, and pillows were so comfortable. The wood fire made for a special atmosphere at night. We also enjoyed the added bonus of seeing the most beautiful birds and deer visiting the property on our way to/from the ski slopes.

Amy’s place was very comfortable and very secluded we enjoyed the privacy and being surrounded by all the Wild life, looking forward to checking this availability every time we come back to Angel Fire!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin in New Mexico! It was the perfect getaway for our family. The cabin was cozy, well-equipped, and set in a stunning location. Our kids had an absolute blast exploring and enjoying the surroundings. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We would absolutely stay here again—highly recommend!!

The Checkin was easy. Our instructions were straight forward. Plenty of room for us and our gear for the Ski trip. Secluded spot, we were able watch the wildlife several evenings and most mornings before heading out. Great advice on shopping beforehand and where to go once there. This was a trip for the family to make some great memories. Thanks.

Such a lovely getaway! The cabin was meticulous and well stocked. It was spacious and so comfortable for our family. A perfect home away from home. The location along the river was absolutely perfect. Dawn addressed all concerns so quickly. She was a great host. Would highly recommend Dawn’s River Rose Cabin!
