Vacation rentals with beach access in Tanzania

the apartment was clean with beautiful surroundings. Odette is super friendly and responded quick to any of my questions. it was worth the price, although we didn't have free wifi as the it shows that here, however, I would say that this apartment is even more beautiful than what is showing in the pictures here, the pictures doesn't do it justice. I stayed for 10 days and it felt like home. would definitely book the place again whenever I'm visiting Fumba again.

Great Stay in Fumba Town We stayed at this apartment for 6 days as part of our vacation and we enjoyed the stay. It’s a great apartment within a secure compound, it was good for us as we had kids so on days that we were resting from excursions, kids spent time at the swimming pool. Some four restaurants around the compound hence easy to access food in days that we did not want to make food. Finally it was close to Stone Town, just like 15mins to 20mins drive and other places for Blue Safari etc. The host was great and so responsive and helpful. Always reaching out to us to support. We really felt at home. We stayed there during Dec 2024 to Jan 2025

I had a great stay at Anine's place, which I booked last minute at midnight due to an emergency. Anine was very responsive and arranged a driver to bring my group to the apartment. The listing matched the description perfectly, with plenty of natural light. While my friend found the washing machine less effective, I appreciated having one available. Frequent power outages in Zanzibar were managed well by the unit's generator, which kept the AC and hot water running. The building has a restaurant where Anine offers a special breakfast combo; the food was delicious, though the restaurant staff seemed overwhelmed during our visits. The location is excellent, surrounded by various restaurants, beauty salons, and shops. The residents /guests at Soul Paje are quite international and welcoming. The only downside was the bathroom shower, which lacks a glass door, easily causing the bathroom to flood while showering. All in all, I had a fantastic stay at this listing and highly recommend it!

The stay with Perfecto was perfect! The place is cozy and comfortable feels like home, spacious and with many amenities. The 2nd night of our stay we were facing some issue to get back yet he is very communicative and understanding to our situation. It’s a very good stay and definitely recommend it!

Beautiful accommodation, exceptional garden and idyllic setting. Exterior maintained every two days ( Pool, garden ). The location is very quiet. However, anticipate if you need to shop because the amenities are not nearby. Thanks to Captain Abdul (recommended by Anja) for his availability, activities and kindness. He is great, do not hesitate to go through him, especially for the access to the accommodation which is not obvious the first time. Anja is very responsive, thanks to her! We recommend this place.

The beach house is simply fantastically located and right on the beach in a very nice garden. You feel like you're in paradise there! We will be happy to come back

We come from a small beach town in California and although we've travelled and lived in many tropical locales we found the north coast of Zanzibar to be very unique in every way. This was a legit adventure full of culture. We rented a car and found that very few other travelers had done so as most take shuttles and taxis. I like the adventure of driving on the other side of the road from the other side of the car and it's balls out so I enjoyed that. We got pulled over by cops 5 times who tried to milk us for money but we were'nt having it so that was a fun game to play with them in its own way too. This place is not for the faint of heart so if you don't want adventure and intrigue go somewhere else. We did a lot while we were there for 2 weeks. We went swimming with Dolphins twice which was the highlight. We drove to the Rock Restaurant a couple hours away. We ate delicious food both at Anna's place and mainly at MJ's in town. Jacob was a huge asset and such a cool guy. Hakuna Matata

A little slice of heaven! We had an amazing stay at Elisabetta’s house in early January. The house is right on the gorgeous beach and it looks even better in real life than the pictures. It is very tastefully decorated and has everything you may need during your stay. The bedrooms are large and the covered patio overlooking the beach is absolutely gorgeous. It was great having Abdul to ask for recommendations and Teresa was just the best with cleaning and making us feel right at home. The town of Kiwengwa is small so we booked a few day trips from here and explored the rest of the island. Elisabetta is a wonderful host, extremely friendly and always responsive. She helped make our holiday very comfortable. We will cherish the memories that we made at Casa Di Lilli and would absolutely recommend booking this beautiful house.

We had a very enjoyable week in this rustic and peaceful retreat. Eating meals served beach side by the chef was a highlight. The staff is very friendly, trustworthy and responsive. Umari cooked fantastic meals for us every day and Ali arranged all our transportation as well as some truly memorable excursions. The sunset kayak trip through the mangrove forest, guided tour of Stone Town, and dolphin excursions are all once in a lifetime experiences and strongly recommended. The beach directly in front of the house is all yours, except for some happy local kids enjoying the water - there are no other tourists. If you want an authentic experience away from the sounds of modern life and tourist crowds, this is the place for you!

The staff was the best part of the stay. They were amazing, especially Dan. The property is next to the beach and in the middle of a village. Seeing the African culture and way of living mixed with paradisiac views…was riveting. Several descent restaurants in the area as well. Will definitely book again.

Really lovely apartment with wonderful outside space and air conditioned en suite bedrooms. I loved being able to nip to the beach for my early morning swim and then come back to relax in the pool which, although it's small, was great for cooling off. We managed to have all 4 of us (2 adults plus 2 full sized teens) in at once. Sonia was really welcoming and very helpful, always responding quickly to queries both before and during our stay. She also gave us handy info about local restaurants who we could message and have deliver to the apartment which was perfect for us. Eating on the terrace every night was great. All in all a lovely week in a beautiful apartment with a great host. Thank you

We had a lovely stay in Happy’s property, it was very clean and she was excellent at communicating no matter what time of day or night. There are guards on the gate which felt security and are also aware of Happy’s accommodation as an Air B n B and are on hand to help with amy enquiries. Everything is close by. We used the gym and the pool which were great! Despite there being a building site across the word which we were made aware of by Happy, it was still very peaceful and didn’t cause any disturbances. We would highly recommend and stay again when next in Dar. Thank you for having us

Sheila was very kind and always cleaned our apartment perfectly. The location is excellent for accessing shopping options or the beach. The complex is clean, safe, and beautiful, with a great pool area. We will definitely come back again.
