Farmstay vacation rentals in Tamsweg District

The directions using Maps are a bit misleading, as they'll bring you to the next house :) Other than that, descriptions and photos are 100% accurate, and we could also use the extra space outside which has lots of places to sit and basic kitchen furniture. The hosts were super kind, and even offered us a gorgeous basket of porcini mushrooms just picked! The surroundings are simply paradise.

We had a great stay. Our hosts Karl and Gudrun were fantastic and went the extra mile on any requests. Will definitely come back. Great location for skiing, and close to public transport.

Highly recommended! I had a wonderful week with two incredibly warm hospitable people. It is quiet and secluded, very far up with beautiful views of the valley. Maria and Christian take great care of you, you are well taken care of at breakfast, even motivated to take a snack for the day. Rooms are simple but clean and spacious. If it just turns out, you can talk to both. You can really see how far-reaching, critically thinking, and down-to-earth both are. And Nessi, the farm dog is always on cuddling anyway, a pleasant quiet soul. The whole yard is accessible at all times. Chickens and geese roam free, the pigs, cows, yaks, and co have a good time outside. The area is great for hikes, often possible directly from the farm. By bus, the farm is sufficiently easily accessible if you accept a small climb (unfortunately does not run outside the summer holidays on weekends).

Beautiful view from the cabin. Plenty of hiking opportunities. There is a lake nearby, up the mountain. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It was even supplied with children’s toys, which was perfect for our toddler. We ordered breakfast which was delicious and delivered to our cabin. We also ordered their farm products for bbq. Foods and drinks at their restaurant next to us was convenient and tasty. We had a good weekend relaxing in nature.

Were only in a double room for 1 night - everything fit - happy to come back!

Thanks for a great stay. Everything is really right here. A super nice apartment where everything you need is available. The apartment is equipped to a very high standard with a large balcony, which offers a beautiful view over the mountain panorama. From the property, many hikes and excursion destinations are directly accessible, and beautiful hiking destinations are also possible directly from the front door on foot. It was our first holiday in Lungau and we got to know it as a beautiful environment to come back to. We stayed here with our two children and the farm was an absolute highlight! Especially the daily animal feeding as well as tractor and quad rides were absolute highlights! The many playground equipment and options such as table tennis have rounded it off. The landlords are super friendly and helpful, have created experiences for our children (see above), which they will keep in their memory, as well as the shared stick bread evening. As soon as we plan another vacation in Lungau one day, we will book an apartment here again:)

A wonderful home for a vacation in the mountains at any time of the year. An incredible location, with silence, 5 minutes' walk from the lifts in Obertauren. I would repeat.

We (family with 1 year old and 5 year old child) spent an all-round perfect holiday on this farm! The children had a lot of fun with the daily animal feeding round and we adults were also able to learn a lot about the dairy farm. The ground floor apartment with playground right in front of the terrace was super convenient and we were very happy about the range of children's games and books. We felt warmly welcomed and enjoyed the family atmosphere. The apartment was equipped with everything you needed and very modern as well as sparkling clean. Particular comfort was also the breakfast basket service with delicious products from the farm or from the region.

Our vacation on the Schlicknhof was one of our most beautiful. This great apartment, this mega view and very special, the light ❤️💓 of this nice family, made it. If you are looking for relaxation, the mountain and nature, the Schlicknhof is great. Thanks for this amazing time I'm sure we'll be back.👍

Sarah is a very likeable and dear hostess, there is the possibility every day for breakfast to get fresh products from the surrounding farmers (eggs/bacon/milk/etc.) to the apartment door, all around a very great accommodation with lovingly designed furnishings!

Alex's apartment is a cosy hut in a wonderful alpine hillside, comfortably near to Kreischberg ski resort. The hut is cosy and is a good place for up to ten persons. Enjoying the sauna after a full day of skiing was really relaxing.
