Great spot, been coming to Santa Teresa since 2011, first time staying in malpais as opposed to Santa Teresa. Privacy and quietness preferred. Epic view and sunsets, just as good as ST. Absolutely need a ATV. Carmen and ST really aren’t a bad ride on the ATV either. Chanti hooked up the ATV & surf rack as well. Definitely for the adventurers.

A beautiful villa located in a very safe and private place. The house has everything you need to feel at home. It is located on a very quiet beach and surrounded by beautiful views and many animals such as deer, macaws, sheep are observed.

We booked the Casa for 9 nights for our family and we absolutely loved it. The Casa shares a pool with the apartments, but there is a lot of privacy for all guests. As a self catering unit, the Casa has everything we needed to prepare and cook food, and there are quite a few well-stocked markets and shops within walking distance or a short drive away. The walk to Carmen beach, tidal pools and Santa Teresa are all within 5 minutes walk. We rented an ATV for our time there which helped us to explore and see more of the coastline - highly recommended to see as much as you can of the beautiful Nicoya peninsula. Francesca co-hosts the property and was incredibly helpful and quick to reply to our messages, queries, recommendations, advice etc. We really loved our stay and by the end of it, it felt like home! We didn't want to leave :) We will be back in Costa Rica and would absolutely look to book the Casa again for our stay.

A lovely place that met all our needs. Nice surroundings with a lovely pool. The place have a really good vibe and the owners Lucia and Leo were so friendly and helpful with everything. We really enjoyed our time here. There is a Soda just 350 m down the road (Sabor de Mar) which serve absolute excellent food and have a lovely staff.

Our trip back to Tambor was the best yet! We had a wonderful time in the backyard oasis as well as having adventures in and around Tambor. The villa had all the comforts of home which made cooking dinners at the house convenient if we didn't want to go out. The grocery store in Los Delfines was a short walk away and had plenty to choose from and was restocked often. Thank you for being such fantastic hosts!

This home is such an amazing place to stay. Wonderful location, steps from the surf, amazing windows, so much natural light, amazing views from inside and the covered porch, comfortable furniture, beds. Truly one of the most memorable places. Magic place, amazing people

The place is located in Malpais, a quiet, spacious and safe parking area, with a clean pool, the comfortable rooms with everything you need, there is a super a few meters away to buy anything you need and a couple of restaurants nearby, of course surrounded by many beautiful beaches.

We arrived on Xmass eve and the stove did not work. We were so happily surprised by caretaker Sebastian’s quick action and immediate show up of the friendliest repairman. Great great great. Thank you and we’d like to repeat our stay !

This place has an absolutely stunning view—perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. The bedrooms and bathrooms are super spacious, and really comfortable. One small tip: trimming the plants by the pool would make the view even better. And just a heads-up, you’ll definitely need a 4x4 to get up the hill—it’s steep! If you’re driving, make sure you’re confident behind the wheel. Zoe was super helpful, and Bianca was quick to respond whenever we needed anything. They made everything easy and stress-free. Overall, an amazing stay—thank you!

Incredibly beautiful location that was always available to help us with anything we needed or asking questions. The location was breathtakingly beautiful. I would unquestionably suggest this area to anyone considering relocating. It has a really welcoming atmosphere, is close to all the eateries and the beach, and offers breathtaking views and wildlife in the center of the forest. It was simply incredible. Great accommodation, very conveniently located, one block from the beach and beautiful beach club. It has all the comforts of a house , spacious, comfortable and added to this the services of the apart, cleanliness , pool and cafe available. Rotem is a great host, very smooth and helpful communication. We had a great time 🤍

Based on the Airbnb profile we hoped that Casa Tina would be an ideal place for our family get-together. It surpassed all our expectations! The house is spacious, clean with modern amenities, great AC and wifi, and a fantastic pool area. Really 3 minutes walking from one of my all-time favorite beaches, close to a variety of restaurants, yet surprisingly quiet with adequate privacy. Owner, property manager, cleaners, everybody was super responsive and kind. Could not have had a nicer experience. Highly recommended!
