If you are a nature lover who enjoys a country, somewhat rustic-style home, this is the place for you. It wasn't easy to find (don't follow Waze's directions...), but we finally found it with Michealyn's direction. We didn't have time to enjoy the garden since we were busy every day with activities (Semuc Champey is a MUST!). But if you have more time on your hands, it is a great place to relax with nature outside your door. a few tips to make the stay better: The dogs are friendly, but after the first night, where they barked all night long right under the bedroom window, my advice is to ask to take them off the premises for your stay. The host easily did it. If the internet is down (which happens every few hours), unplug it and plug it back and it will work. Ask the host how to get the hot water in the shower (it's a little trick). All in all, Michaelyn was quick to respond and the housekeepers were a great help as well.

Amazing stay at the Mountain Nest. This place will hold a special place in our hearts, sitting outside on the terrace was astonishingly good and Carlos (the guardian/housekeeper/neighbour) is a legend. Both Rémy and Carlos couldn’t do enough for us - well worth a stay if you are planning a trip to Lanquin and/or Semuc Champey.

This was our first trip to Guatemala, for our son’s wedding. The place was beautiful! Almost out of a book! Lots of room for everyone, the outside area was so fresh and inviting, and we always felt safe! We would stay again.

Super loved it.! The house is surrounded by nature, private but in a good spot.! What a look.! Calm.! Large and spacious. I recommend the super friendly staff in charge.! They made this little family retreat a wonder.! It has washer and dryer that works at 100.! With children, that helped us a lot.! The weather was a little cold so they left us enough chamarras.! We gave wood, let's cook.! A cute spectacular cottage to do a lot of things.! Thank you very much for hosting us with so much attention!

This was an absolute marvel of a stay in Guatemala! Everyone and I mean everyone was super helpful and accommodating. The place is beautiful and surrounded by nature. And the best of all were the hosts, so friendly and charming. I definitely recommend this place to anyone lucky enough to be in the region.

The house is a great place to rest. It has all the comforts for a relaxing weekend in contact with nature. Quite comfortable and familiar environments. We enjoyed the stay with my family. Access: it is close to Centro de San Pedro Carchá. Part is terracería in good condition. Jazmin, always very attentive, kind and attentive to any situation. Everything was great. Hope to come back again
