Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Talkeetna

A great word to describe the tiny home is cozy! It was perfect for two adults. For such a small space, they had plenty of amenities and the space never felt cramped. My husband and I enjoyed moonlight skiing on Fish Lake, and we appreciated the clear instructions on how to get there from the tiny home.

Travis is a responsive host! I had some trouble getting into the place because of the cold weather and he was quick to respond and offer assistance. I like how peaceful and quite the place was and it was close to downtown Talkeetna! I could've walked downtown if not for the cold. The place was also clean and I had a comfortable stay! I would definitely recommend! :)

The yurt was a wonderfully relaxing respite. We had the most relaxing time with the fire and playing games. We definitely would recommend staying here for adventurous souls. Brian even started our fire the first night - so it was wonderfully cozy when we arrived.

The place was extremely beautiful and we felt right at home. Andrew was very friendly and even gave us tips on where to find fish in the lake. The entire experience was great and we hope to come again soon!

John and I were delighted by the peacefulness of the neighborhood. A well-equipped kitchen facilitated cooking, and the wood fireplace contributed significantly to the relaxing ambiance. When we noted the absence of wood, Nick promptly provided a few bundles. By reconfiguring the furniture, including repositioning the couch to face the television and utilizing the ottoman bench, we felt entirely at ease. The heating system functioned perfectly, maintaining an optimal temperature. I appreciated the soaking tub's design, accommodating my shorter stature, while John valued the shower's spaciousness. Morning coffee was stocked perfectly and love the variety of teas for that evening wind down time. We love this place and will come back for sure. I recommend this place for your r&r.

Ty so much for allowing us to stay at your place even w all the unforeseen weather complications and power. The relocation to a new place was beyond amazing even with the power going out again; the hot bath, grill, and wood burning fire place was excellent to spend my 29th bday. I definitely will be coming back but maybe not mid winter 😂 It still was one of my best adventures yet!

Location was clean and well stocked. The host clearly takes pride in providing quality items (mattresses, kitchen supplies, towels, etc.). Location is walkable to the main strip. Fire pit in the back was perfect for NYE with the northern lights out across the entire sky. The host was very responsive and we would definitely rent this home again! Oh and the driveway easily fit two large truck and snowmachine trailers.

Best place to stay if you like the great outdoors but still with amenities. So dark at night you could see the milky way when there is no clouds. Larry is super friendly, loves the outdoors and sharing it. Borrowed his canoe to paddle across the lake to his other cabin in the woods. Would recommend fully.

Very nice to be near Talkeetna but not close to the hustle and bustle of main street. We love XC skiing. She had full maps of all the trails and trail heads waiting for us. Highly recommend this Airbnb location.
