Beautiful home with amazing views, particularly at sunset. Was exactly as described only the photos don’t do it justice. Very clean house and had everything we needed. It’s in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Kerry was very proactive in communication and gave clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again

Another wonderful stay here! Highly recommend, our two little boys love the playhouse and sandpit and it is very well placed to access the lake for beautiful walks/bike rides around the lake. 15 min walk to the 2 mile sailing club which is a highlight for coffee, drinks and delicious pizza. Thanks again for sharing your home with us.

Thanks for such a great place to stay Michele. Close enough to everything but still in a nice quiet location. The house lay out was amazing and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. As a host Michele was proactive and clear with her communication, making it easy for us to find the house and how to get inside it. Will be back.

When we arrive at the house, it has exceeded our expectations. It has everything we need for the stay. Very beautiful view of the whangamata bay. The golden hour was breathtaking and we really love this. It was a very nice to spend my birthday in Tania’s home. The whole house was very lovely and spacious. Minimalistic style but very modern. It can fit a whole group but really enjoyed it still with my two friends and my dog. The hot tub with the view has the cherry on top. Tania was responsive with all our queries. I cant explained further more the place. All we know is that we enjoy the house and all its perks in it. Very very much recommended for taupo staycation ❤️

We had an amazing stay at Greg and Beatrice ‘s property. The place was spotlessly clean, very quiet, and in a fantastic location. The beds were super comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. The hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming—they live on the premises, but we had the entire unit to ourselves, which gave us both privacy and peace of mind. We arrived late at night, and they kindly helped us open the gate without any hassle. Their hospitality truly made our experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay! Would definitely return.

loved this whare, stunning views of the lake. opened up the conservatory windows, enjoyed the views and listening to the Tui with a cuppa each morning. Had everything that we needed a couple of minutes drive from the wedding we attended. Comfy beds lots of bathrooms. Would definately recommend as a great get away to R&R for the weekend

It felt like an extraordinary privilege to share Rebecca and Matthew’s holiday home. The view is spectacular and the house is full of cleverly designed charms. The kitchen has everything you need to make great home cooked meals, but the local restaurants are also great. Absolutely recommend this place!

Our group (5 adults) enjoyed our stay at the 70s Lake Haven after hiking the Tongariro Alpine Crossing! We especially appreciated the authentically cozy decor and vibe, and would recommend this spot for fellow hikers (though the beds and shower might be a bit small for some)! Everything was very clean, well stocked, and the views of the sunrise over the lake can’t be beat.

Awesome home!!!! Tons of room for 3 couples, would have accommodated 5 couples no problem. The most well stocked Airbnb I have ever rented, fridge was full of condiments and the pantry had every spice imaginable. You definitely need a vehicle here to get into town, very private setting.

We had a wonderful family weekend here. The house is very spacious, lovely big bedrooms and the three bathrooms are great for a big family. It made it even better being able to have our family dog with us. Nice big fully fenced section, and the spa was nice when returning from the lake. Daniel was very responsive and helpful and we will definitely be returning to stay again.

Awesome spot. Amazing huge deck with excellent outlook to relax on. Tennis courts and kids playground really close… walk down to a quiet lovely part of the lake front and access to the bike and walking tracks. House is large for a 3 bed and loads of section space. Loved our stay!
