An amazing house for family vacations! The house is very well equipped and very spacious with a large swimming pool to enjoy the sun. Isabelle was very responsive and pleasant during our stay. I totally recommend it!

We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

Our stay at Luís's place was unbeatable. The place is very clean and tastefully decorated. It is not missing any detail and it is all as and how it is shown in the pictures. We enjoyed a lot of the pool and the good weather. Luís is a 10 host, very attentive, willing and friendly. We will definitely come back and do not hesitate to recommend it! The house is large and comfortable, the kitchen is very good. The yard is very beautiful, everything was fine.

We had an exceptional stay! The hosts are a rare kindness, very caring and attentive: we feel that they put all their heart into welcoming their guests. The amenities are simply amazing: swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, weight room… everything is perfectly maintained and thought out for comfort. If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and secluded getaway surrounded by nature, this place is absolutely perfect. I loved my weekend escape – even though it was freezing outside, the house was super cozy and warm inside. The only thing to keep in mind is being careful not to overload the generator, but honestly, that was a small detail in an otherwise amazing stay. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to disconnect and relax

Very beautiful home in the heart of a winery, surrounded by beautiful hills and vines. The home itself was very cozy and accommodating for us as 4 persons. There was a fully stocked kitchen, so we were able to make food for ourselves. The hosts were very friendly and had a lot of recommendations. We didn't use the pool since it was a bit chilly, but it looked well maintained and refreshing for hotter days. I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful apartment with plenty of space. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this location. The host was friendly and forthcoming. The house was clean and fully equipped. Fortunately there were heaters all over the place, so even during our winter stay, we stayed warm and cozy.

The super nice complex is an oasis in the somewhat bustling environment of the city of Vila Real. Ins and their people are very friendly and extremely nice without being intrusive. Every morning fresh bread is brought to the house, great service, also the daily cleaning of the bungalow is very pleasant. The garden areas are very well maintained, the pool is cleaned daily, the water is super clear and refreshing. Our bungalow was more spacious than it looked like in the pictures and wonderfully cool due to the thick granite walls even at 33 degrees outside temperature. The excursion tips are lovingly drawn and well thought through. All in all, four of us had a wonderful week at Ines. Thank you!

Great hosts make a stay fantastic. Puri and Paulo are certainly the greatest hosts we have encountered ever. They elevate their quiet and peaceful apartment by their incredible generosity and friendliness. We arrived late afternoon to a welcome plate of local meats and cheeses all of which were delicious and the best that we have had on our visit to Portugal. We were expecting to have to find a local restaurant for dinner - however Puri had a roast chicken ready for us due to the late arrival! A proper free range country chicken - full of flavour. The fridge was stocked with breakfast items including lovelly fresh fruit and jams made by their small company - some of the best blueberry jam I have ever eaten. Paulo very kindly found a winery visit that was open (during harvest) and booked it for us and suggested some view pionts we should visit. Quanta Terra is in a must see building with great wines and a perfect host. Saddly that we only could stay 2 nights - we will be back.

A warm welcome, Dario not being present he passed the relay to 2 people including the cleaner to our great surprise, she brought us a beautiful bread and homemade jam for our arrival. The house is very clean and pleasant fresh for perfect summer! Provsende is a small, typical and pleasant village. We are always afraid of the people's eyes with our dogs and everything went very well, you just have to organize with Fernanda the cleaner so that she can do her work every 3.4 days the beds and bath towel are changed. We were pampered like a hotel! Parking is relatively easy, just do it at the bell tower on Sundays mornings at Mass😉. Thanks for everything!

Casa Grande is an amazing house, we loved our experience, because yes it is an experience! The path to Covelinhas is very steep, you have to be careful when crossing cars. The pool is superb, the rooms are all lovely. There are two small cafes nearby but otherwise we travel by car. I would highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay. The property features several out buildings that are serviced by a main building where food is prepared. Our out building was lovely, made of the local granite and sturdy as a mountain. The furnishings have a traditional vibe & we felt very cozy. Bonus: there was access to a washing machine & drying rack we made use of. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at Lugar das Letras was nothing short of magical. This beautifully restored house, once an old school, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards—a true feast for the eyes. The rooms and bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, thoughtfully designed to make us feel at home. But what made our experience truly unforgettable were Carla and Paula, the two wonderful ladies who took care of every detail. Every morning, they prepared a memorable breakfast for our entire family, filled with warmth and care. Their kindness and hospitality turned our stay into a dream. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise in the Douro Valley. Highly recommended!

If for no other reason - come for the view. The house is lovely and well furnished. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. But truly the view is memorable. Sitting outside staring down at the river and town was mesmerizing. This is also a fabulous place for bird-watching. You will see quite a few species.

Fantastic house with huge warm pool and great views. Really enjoyed our stay.

I can't say enough about how incredible this Airbnb was, Carla and her property were so beyond expectations. My family and I felt extremely comfortable there, it is remote but absolutely beautiful. We were not able to use the pool, because the weather was a little bit cold. I jumped in for like 20 minutes and even though it was cold it was very nice. Carla was so communicative the entire time we were there, she made lots of helpful suggestions and helped us to book a tour around the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. She and a friend also cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and helped us to start our day. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely return.

Almost a dollhouse... with everything we need. Very nice place. The entire surroundings of the farm convey a peace and a pleasant feeling of isolation. Here you can enjoy the silence and a very beautiful landscape. A walking tour in the middle of the apple trees is very good. I recommend for rest.
