Vacation rentals in Sylvan Lake

The house was wonderful for our two families! Instructions were all very clear, checkin was easy, just a keypad. The place clearly was done somewhat recently, it’s clean and beautiful inside. The TVs are huge! Living room view is so nice overlooking the lake. Had all the great amenities like grill hot tub, indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit. Kids loved playing downstairs together. Very walkable to a convenience store. 7 minutes from mount peter so made a great base for skiing as well. Hope to be back one day!!

We had a great time staying in this beautiful and comfortable space. It had everything we could hope for and was perfectly clean. The air felt and smelled fresh as we walked in the door. It was spacious and well appointed with extras like condiments, games and puzzles. There was a dog gate and potty bags in case we brought our pets. We didn’t bring ours this time but might in the future because we definitely want to stay here again. There were plenty of clean linens and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were great. The coffee was delicious and there was tea too. We didn’t use the air fryer, but it was nice to have that and the gas stove in case we wanted to cook. Thank you for a great stay!

An overall outstanding experience. Pristinely clean, comfortable furniture, cozy bed & bedding - can’t say enough great things about this place and the hosts. We will definitely be back!

This place was a breath of fresh air. I've noticed a trend on AirBNB of rentals that are obviously flipped investment properties with no character and no evidence of life: this place is the opposite! Charming, comfortable, with hosts who actually know the area and live in the area. This is a great family option when visiting the surrounding Hudson Valley towns. I hope I can get back here soon!

We had a wonderful long weekend stay! Steve was an excellent host, who was very hospitable and responsive, allowing us flexible check in and check out, leaving a thoughtful welcome gift and sending us recommendations for things to do in the local area. We ended up hiking, wine tasting, visiting local restaurants. The home was great for our two kids (12 year old and 3 year old) and we made use of the pool every day! Wish we could've stayed longer but it was the perfect city getaway.

Cozy and charming house with unique and fun decor. There was a fire going when we arrived and the house was warm and cozy. Great location within minutes of the town of Woodstock. Hosts had great local recommendations. The sauna was definitely my favorite, felt so good to relax after a long day of hiking.

Property was exactly as described. Clean and extremely cozy. I would definitely recommend this property for a couple or group looking to stay within the catskills or close to hunter mountain.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sally’s cozy apartment! It is well appointed and tastefully decorated. Sally was very responsive and caring. The beautiful views out of our bedrooms onto the garden and the wide open landscape behind it were major treats, especially on the morning after a heavy snowfall. We found everything we needed and more than expected - and hope to be back one day! Thank you very much, Sally!
