Vacation rentals with a kayak in Susquehanna River

We had a great stay! Would definitely recommend this listing, and we would stay here again.

We had a great time. Beautiful property and perfect location. We traveled into Jim Thorpe (about 10 min drive) for the Fall Foliage Festival and dinner Friday night.

Despite booking my stay with three other friends for my birthday during February, it was the absolute best decision. Everything was as described, lot of great in-home amenities including games (i.e. ping pong, pool, tons of table-top entertainment.) Scott was absolutely one of the best hosts I have coordinated and communicated with. He would check-in to ensure we had what we needed and when there was a heavy snowfall the evening prior to our departure date- he immediately checked in and had the walkway and driveway cleared of snow. Lot of great, beautiful hikes in the snowfall and do hope to have the opportunity to return during the warmer season. Thank you, again, for the wonderful accommodations and for being such a proactive and communicative host!

This Airbnb was the perfect fall getaway! We visited the lake to soak in the autumn vibes, and this spot exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for our group of five, and the host’s recommendations made our trip even better. While the area is known for summer fun, I think fall might be the best time to visit. We had an amazing time exploring the charming shops, cozy restaurants, and stunning waterfront spots, plus the nearby vineyards are a must-see. Can’t wait to return next year when the leaves are changing again—absolutely loved our stay!

Seth’s boathouse was a pleasure! With it being so close to New Paltz, I was able to visit my old college town while staying in a cozy riverside house. I hope to definitely come back one day!

Carolyn's lake house is incredible. Our group only stayed for a night, but it was such a great time. The house has fantastic amenities, and the views of the lake are gorgeous. Make sure to take advantage of everything the house has to offer, especially the kayaks and canoes. Carolyn herself was also very kind and easy to communicate with. All in all, highly recommended, even for a short stay!

What an incredible place to stay! This is a big old house with lots of wonderful surprises--a kids' nook with great toys, books for kids and adults, a s'mores kit in the larder, interesting art, great outdoor space...everything you could possibly want. There's even a cabinet with a sign that says it has antique serving dishes from the 1800s, and guests should "feel free to use any of these items." I have never felt so strongly, staying in an Airbnb, that the hosts were clearly deeply kind and lovely people. The house obviously means a lot to them, and we felt right at home there.

We came in from out of town and had a small family group and everything was amazing. Keith was very responsive and was even willing to extend our stay for us. We love this location and hope that we can come back during warmer weather so that we can enjoy the water. Thanks again, Keith for everything.

The cottage was perfect for our family and our children loved the goats!

This is our second time visiting the cottage. First when we had our son then 5 months. We loved how welcoming and quaint it was. Now with two boys, 3 and 1, we had to return again. The energy and embrace of the cottage has not changed. There were even improvements since we last stayed! The most surprising of all was how much our little ones were curious and intrigued by everything that could be accessible to them. All cabinets were a hit! The tranquility of the morning crisp air, watching the ducks enjoy their lake both frozen and melted was my personal highlight of each day.

Perfect! Words cannot describe the magic that I felt here at this property. I found peace, beauty and comfort all in one, the cottage has the most wonderful personality! The touches of country living in the kitchen and the bedroom… wow! I’m a solo traveler as such, safety and ambiance is essential! Gina created such an amazing experience! Always responsive, accesible, kind, courteous and sweet as Georgia sugar cane. It’s all about the details! Don’t forget to leave your mark in the guestbook and The Instamax board. Yes, she has a guest board with picture of previous visitors , one pic for memories, one for the board. Details! Yes!! I will be back , I tried booking for the New Year but someone beat me to the punch. “Favorite” this property, you will fall in love for its natural beauty from nature, the coziness of the cottage as well as the location. Far enough to enjoy the magnificent scenery, close enough to hit up the local diner for disco fries 🤣.

My stay was nothing short of amazing. Although we were snowed in and did not leave, we were able to share relaxing moments, while taking in the view of the frozen lake. I will be returning in the future.

A great place for a weekend girls getaway! super comfortable beds, nicely set up cabin. The outdoor space is breath taking and the hot tub was an added bonus! We enjoyed relaxing in the living room with the fire place and TV. We visited a few close by towns and enjoyed Alec's recommendation of the boat museum. All in all a great trip and a comfortable cabin!

Comfy & cozy for 2 couples, spacious bathrooms with nice towels, bedrooms also had an extra twin bed in each, kitchen had what we needed - coffee pot and wine glasses, and a great view of the lake. Lots of outside amenities, just too chilly to take advantage of them. Michelle was ultra-responsive too.

our stay at ellen’s cottage was private and peaceful. the space had everything needed to feel right at home, including a super comfy mattress!

Can’t say enough about how great this property is! My girlfriend and I, along with our dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this awesome cottage. It’s surrounded by great views. It is exactly what you need if you want a peaceful getaway and time to just relax. John went above and beyond to make sure our stay was just as intended. He was available for any needs. We will definitely be back to experience all the seasons at this great cottage.

I have stayed at this cabin many times and it never disappoints. Feels like coming home as I pull into the driveway. Peaceful and serene surroundings. Comfortable and cozy cabin. It has everything you need and the hosts are wonderful. I'll be back!

It was exactly what we needed. We're an incredibly busy New York City family with little-to-no time to do the nice things and just...be a "family," and we were able to do those things in Elise's cabin, in addition to skiing, enjoying a fireplace, and generally just enjoying each other's company. Plus, there's a solid thai place down the road (West Milford Thai Restaurant; the pad thai was bangin'), not-to-mention a Shoprite, a couple liquor stores and everything else you might nearby, including a dispensary, if that's your thing. ENJOY!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spotless cleanliness—every corner was meticulously maintained, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The cabin's location is unbeatable, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, and the walking access to the lake was a huge plus for us. We spent evenings gathered around the fire pit, soaking in the peaceful setting. The temperature control system also worked perfectly, ensuring we were always comfortable. A special shout-out to Sarah, the host, whose responsiveness and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, this cabin has it all. We had the most amazing time! It was so relaxing and a beautiful cabin at a great location. We love how secluded and private it was. Even better that it was pet friendly so we could bring our dog! He got to swim while we kayaked. Felt right at home, thank you again Brandi for opening your home up to us!

Great Stay Great Cabin! Everything was clean we felt comfortable there. The hot tub was great after the 2.4 mile walk at Watkins glen. It was too cold for us to kayak but it was nice sitting by the water and chilling. Loved the sound of the water at night.

We spent a week at this beautiful spot. It was the perfect location to Ithaca and all the great hiking in the surrounding area. Usually spent the first part of the morning relaxing on the deck with a cup of coffee admiring the lake and the wildlife. Cheryl and her crew were great at communicating with us prior to our arrival. We had no issues while we were there and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin. It is exactly as pictured. It was very cozy. I found it comfortable and well maintained. I went with my two year old and two month old! I felt very comfortable and safe with them there. It was a wonderful experience. We will be back!
