Vacation rentals in Sumter County

Don’t hesitate to stay at Michael’s Airbnb! Making the reservation was easy and Michael answered all of our questions promptly. Directions to the home were easy to follow. The home was just as described. We felt immediately at home. Everything you needed for your stay is included. A golf cart is provided to make you feel you are living “The Villages Lifestyle. Magnolia Plaza is right around the corner featuring a Publix, restaurants etc. A short golf cart ride allowed us to play golf on 4 executive golf courses. We enjoyed listening to music at Ednas’ On The Green and Sawgrass Grove where different musicians play daily. We enjoyed our stay so much we plan on rebooking with Michael the next time we are in the area. Kudos to our host Michael, his warm wonderful amenity filled home and a location second to none to enjoy “The Villages Lifestyle.”

We absolutely loved our stay at Tami and John's place. Peggy, co-host, was most helpful and responsive. We love the Villages but wanted a place to get away, too. This house offered both - close proximity to the squares of Brownwood and Sumter Landing via cart but also a nice residential location over-looking a small lake with birds, squirrels, geckos, and an alligator (seen from a nice safe distance) to give us a quiet place to chill or read or take in the sun. The home is definitely well appointed and decorated and very comfortable. We would definitely consider another stay in the future!

To say David went above and beyond for our parents would be an understatement. We were nervous about sending our parents down to Florida to escape the Minnesota winters- having a host like David erased all those fears. Thank you David, our whole family thanks you. You put all our minds at ease- we really appreciate you helping us make this work.

Had a lovely stay - the most pleasant that we have had in The Villages since we started getting an airbnb some 7 years ago. House was lovely, owner was communicative, location was great - near stores and downtown areas. Being able to use the golf cart was a huge plus. Wonderful kitchen - good selection of cookware and accessories. Already decided that we will try to get this place again on our next visit!

The cottage is amazing. It’s exactly like the photos. It may look small but it doesn’t feel small. It’s very cozy and the view is amazing. Don is very responsive and really cares. Can’t say enough about this place. Side-note the single bed is firm so if you have back issues, you wanna bring a mattress topper if you can. We would really love to come back, felt like a home. Paddle boat was awesome, caught many fish right by the dock!! Located right by many stores and restaurants!

This spacious home is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood within an easy, pleasant, 10-minute bike ride or golf cart drive to "The Square" in Spanish Springs, either along the multi-modal paths through a scenic golf course or along the safe, local streets.

Judy’s house was beautiful! Clean, tastefully decorated, and friendly neighbors. We used the golf car, bikes and there were also lawn chairs and golf clubs that we didn’t get a chance to use because we were so busy doing other things. There are 2 swimming pools and pickle ball courts within 1.5 of the house, very easy to walk or bike to. Brown wood Paddock is about a 15 minute golf car ride away. We will definitely stay with Judy again!
