A really great stay in a beautiful location. The home is spacious, clean and lovely. The host was responsive and friendly. We had a great stay, and would love to come again.

I took care of you in two days. Before my stay, they politely gave me information about the facilities and amenities in the building, how to check in, and it was a strange place, but I was able to go there with peace of mind. Because the old house was renovated, the water area was new and beautiful, and the old parts of the building were well cleaned and treated with care, and it was a very cozy space full of warmth. The best memory was the soft light from the shoji and the happy morning of birds. Recommended store information also tells us that you love this area. It was nice to stay here. Thank you very much.

We had a wonderful stay! Even though we had originally told the host we’d be checking in later, we ended up arriving early—and she was kind enough to come meet us right away after we updated her. She greeted us warmly and gave us a thorough walkthrough of the entire property, explaining everything clearly. The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning mountain views. We truly loved our stay and definitely plan to come back!

My family and I felt right at home, very comfy. The host, Takano-san has been very helpful. Due to the travelling season, it may feel cold at night but with the right clothes, and air-conditioning, it is warm. Local recommendation by host is superb, my pilgrimage to try The Three Great Noodles of Morioka has not completed but managed to try 2 of it. Lawson is within driving distance. Few local restaurants is also within driving distance, one of our fav is Cafe Restaurant CABIN. Mode of transportation, recommend using car. Tohoku is a beautiful place.

We loved staying at this guest house! Kumiko was so kind and helpful! Kakunodate is a lovely place and a very quiet place! I would highly recommend staying here! the trailer house has a really good set up it was amazing! ありがとう！！

Outstanding place - one of the best I’ve stayed in via Airbnb. Excellent value to have a whole little Japanese house to yourself in a quiet area on the top of a hill. It’s the little things that all add up to make this special: clear translated instructions on all the electronics, all you need to cook in the fully equipped kitchen, Japanese his & hers robes you can wear with diagrams on how to tie the knots in the traditional fashion, free washing powder for the laundry machine, and more. Bed is a futon style mattress on the floor and extremely comfortable - I am a very finicky sleeper and often have problems but not here. The cherry on top is the free use of the e-bike - there’s not much to do in Onagawa (which is why I went there, wanted to go somewhere “real” and non touristy) and there’s only so much you can see on foot. With the bike I had two splendid rides through the countryside / hills and around the bay - it was really a special experience. Hosts are amazing & helpful!

When I opened the entrance, there was a new building and a nice aromatic scent. When you unlock the entrance, go to the entrance door (upstairs). You have to climb the stairs. The lock was easy to understand, but I had to press the unlocking button in the living room beforehand when I left, so I didn't know what to expect. The inside is very clean as pictured. Easy to use with new furniture and appliances We had a place to stay. The curtains were also good, and I felt the owner's dedication. We also appreciated the coffee and tea service. There was also a supermarket and coin laundry right next to it, and a convenience store open 24 hours a minute away. This time, I stayed with 5 relatives. There were enough beds. We would love to stay again when we go to Ishinomaki.
