We had a wonderful stay here. Our children made friends with the other children in Tateli, the caretakers made us many beautiful meals, and made sure to take good care of us. This place has a real charm to it. Thank you for allowing us to make memories here!!

Our experience in Tana Toraja can be summed up in one word with difficulty: great. This experience was mainly due to the wonderful host/guide Wilanda. Wilanda is a wonderful man who knows everything about the surroundings and the unique culture of Toraja. His knowledge and above all great character has made this trip unforgettable. His cozy cafe gives an ideal place to have a drink after a day of special experiences. Cozy with Wilanda with music in the background. The accommodation is exactly as described and offers a comfortable space with good amenities. Wilanda has also arranged the bus trip back for us and is always there to help. Cute little barn with almost direct access to volcano hiking path. Amazingly friendly and helpful host that goes above and beyond. Everything you need to do some cooking in the little house plus the BBQ outside. Comfortable bed. Beautiful surrounding with view of the volcano. Only small negative to mention is that the houses around often play very loud music, several at the same time. Didn't bother us too much though. Overall we loved our stay here.
