Giske is a wonderful island, it feels a lot of history. Perfect place to walk and be at peace. The view is wonderful and when lighting the fireplace is a pleasant experience. Thank you Ellen for your hospitality.

I had the pleasure of hosting my wedding guests at Einar’s property, and they were absolutely mesmerized by the experience. The house itself is beautiful, with every amenity thoughtfully provided for easy access and comfort. The location is simply stunning, offering a peaceful and well-maintained environment that truly enhances the stay. One of the standout features is the convenient access to the ferry terminal that’s just a minute walk away. This made trips to Ålesund quick and enjoyable, with the journey taking only 15-20 minutes. The process of checking in and out was smooth and seamless, which further added to the positive experience. Overall, my guests were very happy with their stay and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene and well-equipped place to stay with easy access to the city. The Host are very responsive if you need any assistance.

Small and Cute Loft. Even though it is a small unit, it was equipped with everything we needed. We even had enough space for our many suitcases. The place is quiet and peaceful. You could often see deers in the garden nearby.

We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

10/10 In action because who loves nature and skiing!! Were here for a whole week with buddy the gang at the skid course, amazing mountains right outside the cabin. Best was enough and come back after a long day in the mountains to sit in the jacuzzi. Large and nice cabin with everything you need. Cheerful hosts who respond quickly if you need anything. I really appreciate that the road up to the cabin was paved when we arrived, as it had come over 1 meter of fresh snow. 😇 Will be back soon 😇

We had a nice stay at this lovely house. Well maintained and insulated. Beautiful outdoor space and the hot tub was nice! Small tip: put wood and/ or addresses where the wood is for sale for the first day. In the end, after a long search, we found it at a gas pump in Alesund.

The house is very nicely filled with all the equipment a family might need, such as kitchen utensils, linens and towels. The view was absolutely stunning and the landlords were nice and communicated well with us. They always helped us out when needed✨

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon - everything from useful hiking suggestions, quick to bring us anything we needed, to a magical hotpot experience! We couldn't have asked for more out of our stay of from Venise and Gaby. The location was perfect for accessing the less known hiking spots but still with those spectacular views, as well as being close to the ferry so it was easy to hop over to Volda. It was peaceful and we loved the views over the water, and we made good use of the fireplace for cozy evenings. Don't be put off by the road near by, there is very infrequent cars so you hardly hear anything at all!

We stayed at Egil's place over new years. The view from the house is amazing. During our stay, we had a lot of snow and were able to see the polar lights multiple times. Egil was extremely kind and helpful. For all of us, this has been the best vacation of our lives. We'll definitely come back.

The houses are an absolute dream. The interior was clean, nice and very cozy. Also the using the sauna was a really great experience. The location and the surrounding landscape is stunning. My friends and I felt very safe and we just loved our stay there!
