Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sturgis

Miners Cabin was a very nice place. It had beautiful scenery, it was peaceful and relaxing after a day if sightseeing in the local tourist areas and enjoyed seeing wildlife while staying there. The hot tub was a great for the grandkids and adults as well. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay! Hosts are super nice and good communication during our stay! We left an item and they even mailed it back to us!

We had so much fun on our Black Hills adventure. We loved that the location of this cabin was so close to all the main destinations. The kids had a blast playing in the creek and spotting deer. The home worked perfectly for what we needed. Thank you!

The house was as described and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment we needed. The views were amazing and we saw a few deer wandering around, too. We would definitely recommend - it was perfect for a group of six (3 adult couples), with room to spare!

We took our large family here for our Christmas get together and it was PERFECT!! The layout accommodated our family PERFECTLY and the bar area was GREAT for our adult late night gatherings while the younger children were sleeping! The scenery was beautiful and felt very secluded....although it is only a few minutes from town! Scott was EXTREMELY responsive and helpful! We do these trips every year and this is DEFINITELY a place we would consider staying at again!

Great place perfect way to get away from the city but are still close

Spacious home in quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Host was very responsive. Check in and out process was smooth.

Our family had a fantastic day at Margaret’s place! Her and Derito our wonderful hosts and made our family feel very welcome! Not only was the place clean and immaculate, the views were amazing as was the property itself. In addition, Margaret went over the top by baking our family fresh brownies with some ice cream! I can’t say enough about them and highly recommend a stay with them!

I’ve stayed here several times because it is beautiful and a great space with perfect hosts. I had a problem this time (lost my wallet) and I cannot put into words how fortunate I was to be staying with such kind and extraordinary hosts. They went so above and beyond to help me with something that had nothing to do with them. They just handle everything impeccably and made it all so much less stressful. Words cannot express my gratitude ♥️

It was the 2 time staying in Custer during the rally. The 3 of us agreed it was the best. It was so comfortable and relaxing when we were at the cabin It was the best night sleep the beds are great!!! I would highly recommend the cabin & next time I hope to rent this place again!!!

We loved staying at Anthony's place for a peaceful getaway while I did some off-site work and my spouse hiked and biked. Was a great place to bring our dog, too. Very pet-friendly. The place had everything we needed for our week and was very comfortable. Absolutely beautiful location and we enjoyed watching the wildlife in the area. Anthony's place is into the Black Hills just enough to be quiet and feel somewhat removed, but close enough for quick trips into Spearfish for food, coffee, and fun.

We loved our stay in the tiny house. We fixed our breakfast and sat at the kitchen bar in front of the window and watched the wildlife. So relaxing. It was close to the main attractions. Kristi had a basket fixed for us with brochures of the many places to see. Would come back.

Everything about Scott's slice of heaven is fabulous! Words fail the mission of describing how very perfect it actually is so let me just say, if you are going to that area & do not stay at Bale & Butterfly, we cannot be friends. Kyndra is the best! On top of making a very comfy and clean atmosphere, she found my backpack after we left and contacted me right away. It was great to hang out in the cozy living room and watch movies from their huge library of dvds. The Black Hills are beautiful with many trails to choose from.

Great Cozy cabin. Kitchen has a nice selection of essentials supplies. May want to bring paper plates/cups if you have kids and don’t want to use glass dishes. Bring your own Hot Tub towels if larger then 5 are staying, if you would like everyone to have their own as they only supply enough for how many it holds. Clubhouse was great addition but the location is down the hill and around the corner, not adjacent/across the street. Be prepared for steep driveway and lots of stairs. Quick drive to town and Terry Peak.

We stayed here for our family vacation to western South Dakota and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house was as described and perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area. Our family, including our nearly 2 year old loved it. Waking up to a terrific view, wild turkeys and herds of deer was an added bonus. Would highly recommend.

Excellent value and totally as described/pictured! Communication was great and the electronic deadbolt worked easily. Beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. There were a couple nit-picky things that could have been better: Several dishes in the cabinets were clearly not washed, not a light in the place had a dimmer (we ended up unscrewing a bunch of bulbs to compensate), and the steam room in the clubhouse doesn't work (big bummer for me). But overall we had a great time and would recommend!

Everything was so perfect in this private cabin in Lead! Loved all of the cozy additions like the fireplaces, hot tub, and kitchen amenities to cook. It was clean, easy to locate and instructions were clear. An amazing choice for anyone looking to stay in the area!

Absolutely loved the place we stayed at! it was a last minute decision and we will definitely be back to even that same place. it felt like home to us and such a calm beautiful place to be at. close to lead and deadwood and spearfish. so we had lots to do with short drives. I will be recommending this place to friends and family.

We had such a great stay! The space was just right for our family of 8, and we appreciated how easy it was to manage our dogs. We would definitely stay here again. Everything on the property was so clean and well maintained. Thanks, Lee Ann, for being so helpful and welcoming to our family!

Great place to stay. Wonderful views, clean and tons of room. We had a great time there and would highly recommend this for a large group.
