We stayed here on New Year’s Eve and had the best time! The hot tub was pre-heated as requested and the house was absolutely beautiful. Very quirky, interesting interior and spotless. Fabulous place! Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful and private. Claudia was extremely kind and responsive throughout our stay. House was beautiful and very spacious, would recommend you pack warm during the winter months as it got a bit chilly but with some fluffy socks, blankets and a cup of tea it was perfectly cosy! Hottub was amazing, always warm and nice and clean. Thank you!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, checking in to see how we were getting on! In all honestly we didn’t need much from them at all as they’d left lots of information as to how to find the place, key, and additional details left in the house as to pubs, walks etc around. Cosy and gorgeous little cottage with lots of privacy and completely quiet, would 100% recommend for a country getaway. Place was clean and tidy. Kitchen good size and well stocked with pots pans and cutlery and dishwashing soap/tablets. They also supplied firelighters and matches for the fire, and loo roll (this was only a few rolls but plenty for our two night stay) I recommend bringing everything you would need with you to cook with (oil salt pepper) as well as all your toiletries although there was hand soap. There is a nearby services station (5 mins)with the essentials however if you forget anything! Would happily stay again with friends or just the two of us!

I stayed at poppy’s with my sister and two other friends. The cottage was perfect for our little break- beautifully decorated, lovely log burner. The hot tub was amazing and the fairy lights around the garden made it feel really special. Robes provided as well as bathroom towels and towels to take out to hot tub. Bathroom was lovely as was kitchen. Nice pubs/restaurants nearby as well as countryside walks. Last lovely touch was Prosecco, milk and chocolates in the fridge for us!

Just got back from a couple of nights at Kozicot. It’s true that this place is so much better than the photos show. It’s totally peaceful, private and spotless clean. It smelt so lovely throughout. Your parking space is plentiful. It has clearly been upgraded very thoughtfully by Simon & Amy. The hot tub was great and the yard and garden area for our dogs was brilliant. We found the cottage warm throughout. The bedrooms are sublime. Stair gate at top of stairs to stop the your dog coming up. Well lit outside of a night. We found the cottage so cosy & relaxing. The modern kitchen and appliances were much appreciated. Tv in both bedrooms. Google nests in each room which were handy. We will definitely return. My wife and I both felt that Simon & Amy’s place is one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve been too. Weather was hit and miss during our stay so can’t wait to come back and try some of the nearby walks. We had breakfast in the hub which was superb. The cottage & hub is a very special place

Such an unbelievable place to stay, exactly the feel and vibe I was looking for for a week a ay for my fiancés birthday. The place has so much character, beautiful decor, picturesque views but best of all…we were blessed with the company of Marley (Jamie and Dans adopted cat) to keep us company when we were in the hot tub and came and cuddled with us most evenings and mornings :) Such an amazing stay and would recommend the accommodation and hosts to anyone!

We had a lovely stay, it’s our second time at this property! And is ideal for what we were looking for! The place is very peaceful and welcoming! The private garden area is ideal for those travelling with dogs. Lovely walks close by and the home is very cosy for relaxing. The bed is super comfortable so had a great nights sleep. We would definitely return for another trip.

What a wonderful two days away in a tucked away gem right near the Forest of Dean. The accommodation is very homely and well equipped and super cosy. If your a light sleeper like me be warned it is right on a main road so there is some traffic noise and vibration from the lorries but my other half argues he didn't hear a thing! We arrived when it was dark so when the morning light appeared and we opened the curtains we were taken away by the absolutely beautiful setting of the grounds. Tracey and David have done a wonderful job and they are so lovely. Would recommend to anyone looking for a warm and comfortable spot. Took the time to acknowledge our special occasion and left us with the most delicious coffee and fresh bread. In making the effort in those final touches really added to the charm.

We’ve just arrived home from a lovely 2 night stay at Maxine and John’s place after celebrating my partners birthday. We loved the space and were impressed from the minute we arrived. Maxine was a great host providing plenty of good information prior to arrival with lots of recommendations for days out, restaurants, local amenities etc. The Old Mill is so cosy, comfortable we particularly loved the log burner after spending our days out walking. The space is finished to a very high standard and the bed is extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the Cotswolds.

The photos don't do this place justice! We had a lovely stay here for a long weekend and it had everything we needed. The beds were comfy, pillows and duvet included. It was clean and had lovely big towels and shower gel in the showers. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, crockery and kitchen equipment plus complimentary teas and coffee. The view in the morning was beautiful and the owner was helpful to answer any questions. Definitely worth a visit with 2 local pubs to visit!

We had such a wonderful stay in Deer View Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, very cosy and comfortable. Everything about the cottage is perfect. The beds are comfortable, a great selection of glasses inc nice large wine glasses, lovely M&S crockery and lots of utensils. Blockley is a beautiful village with some wonderful local walks, with the rest of the Cotswolds close by. We fell in love with Dylesford Organic farm shop and had the most wonderful meal at The Bull in Charlbury. Michelle was very quick to respond during our stay and provided useful information leading up to our stay. Thank you Michelle and family for letting us stay in Deer View Cottage.

Lovely little cottage where I based myself for a week with my dog. There's a track that leads up into the woods to the left of the cottage and you can walk and walk. House was lovely and clean, everything you need for self catering. Quiet and peaceful and Lorraine was a lovely host.

Lovely bolthole, perfectly located for exploring some beautiful gardens. The offer of parking in the drive rather than opposite the cottage was much easier and much appreciated. We would definitely consider staying again.

Rick was brilliant with helping us plan the trip, very responsive and helpful. the cottage was lovely and cosy, thoughfully decorated for Christmas, just what we hoped for. Rick gave us loads of helpful information and came and set up the speaker we couls play music. the only drawback is that Ruardean doesnt have shops or a pub, and you need to drive to get to the nice walks, its only 10 or 20 minutes to loads of beautiful forest walks, so not a massive deal, but you definitely need a car and driver. but overall a lovely cosy cottage Christmas, welcoming Church service, and refreshing forest walks. thank you Rick!

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Hampden Lodge, such a cosy and private space to stay over new year. Well equipped and some fantastic surroundings to walk! Pam was an outstanding host, and helped with the questions we had throughout our stay very promptly. She even left a NYE hamper for us, thanks so much Pam!

An incredible stay over Christmas with my family. Ann made so much effort with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, wreath and decorations throughout. The home is beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need! Ann & Pete were super friendly and very responsive! The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom clean and spacious. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cottage with us. We immediately felt at home and wish we could stay longer.

If you are looking for a characterful Cotswold cottage with privacy, an intimate environment & just enough features to remain fully functional & connected with the outside world when you need to be, then this could be for you. It's situated within a very quiet village but several pubs & restaurants are only 10min drive away. Large outdoor space that's buffered from surrounding farmland the hosts were easy to deal with & responsive.

The cottage was nice and private in the middle of the fields with nothing around. Very cosy and warm especially when putting the fire on from the wood cut left for us by the owners. Definitely would stay here again. Me and the family had a lovely Christmas. Thank you

We were here for three weeks and had the most relaxing holidays in ages! When we entered the cottage we were surprised with two cookies and enough tea, coffee and milk to calm down after a long ride. The cottage itself was just perfect! It was nicely decorated for Christmas (Even with a little tree!). It felt more like you're staying with friends than an AirBnB. The pictures matched the blankets, the pillows matched the sofa. You had the feeling that you just got home! The area was perfect for visiting Bath, thornbury and the cotswolds. If you want to stay at the cottage than you can relax with hundreds of sheeps just 10 metres away! Natalie and Chris set the bar very high for the next hosts! Both are super helpful! If there's any problem they try their best to fix it ASAP! They offer you lots of ideas for your visit and if you need anything for your stay, they'll try their best to fulfill your wishes. Unfortunately I'm limited with words on AirBnB! We'll definitely coming back!
