Waterfront vacation rentals in Stratford-on-Avon District

Had weekend in Gloucester to visit Christmas markets Ideally located apartment so we could park up and just walk around the town and markets and stop for food and drinks without worrying about driving Took our working cocker spaniel with us so was nice to have a dog friendly apartment rather than staying in a hotel. Having the nature reserve and fields behind the apartment was a bonus Elaina was very quick to respond to messages and very accommodating. Apartment was nice and clean and has all kitchen facilities to use but we took advantage and ate out at nice restaurants on the dock (Greek on the Docks and Dr Fosters and great old dog friendly pub The fountain. Lovely weekend all in all

Nice place to stay with views onto the canal. Very near to the Arena and only a few mins walk from Brindley Place to find plenty of restaurants.

Vicky and Jake were there to meet us and were very helpful with instructions on how to use heating and appliances within the apartment, we got good helpful advice on the local area and were made very welcome. Lots of little extras to help us feel at home and it was an extremely comfortable place to come back to and relax after a long day at the races or on the tourist trail. We would definitely consider using the apartment again in future visits to Cheltenham.

This was a wonderful place to spend a few weeks while we were 'between homes'. The flat was well-equipped, spacious, comfortable and very quiet. Plus Julie was a great host, who always responded promptly to any questions we had.

We really enjoyed staying in this property, it had everything you might need. And was immaculately presented. It was a perfect location as we were attending a concert at the arena and it was walkable distance. Peaceful road. Excellent communication with the host. We would highly recommend this property.

Lovely stay in a great location. Jo & Martin were great hosts. Very accommodating and flexible. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would say, is for the money charged for the Airbnb, a few upgrades would make the stay even more better, such as a new modern TV (TV was old and small), a new modern washing machine (again very old), wardrobes needed hangers, a bathroom bin and a bath mat.

We visited Upton for the Sunshine Festival, but didn’t want to spend the weekend in a tent! We were thrilled to find this beautiful apartment with a river view, just steps from the local pubs and restaurants. Elisabeth phoned me the day before arrival to give clear directions, then she met us outside the property. We had a quick tour of the apartment, and she left us milk and biscuits. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for us both. Plenty of storage, although a few more coat hangers would be useful. The shower over the bath was hot and powerful, with a selection of shower gels and shampoos. The kitchen was compact, but had all that we needed, including washing up liquid, tea towel and scourer. The lounge was extremely comfortable with the stunning view of the river. We ate at the Boathouse, 3 mins walk. Delicious tapas and live music. We had a delicious Sunday roast at the King’s Head, 4 mins walk. I would highly recommend Elisabeth’s apartment.

Brilliant peaceful location exactly as described. The accommodation had everything needed for my stay. Holly was a brilliant host. Always available and very kind and friendly.

The Old Bakery is absolutely amazing The running stream under and around the property makes it feel so tranquil. The Beds are super comfy and overall the place makes you feel relaxed. Communication with Savannah was excellent and she provided local information that I asked for . The Black Horse Pub in Cranham village is excellent for food and drink and is dog friendly too and about a 15min walk from the property . Perfect place to use as a base for visiting Cheltenham and Gloucester or even just for relaxed quiet break . Loved it would definitely book again .

Had a great stay for a group of 7 celebrating a 30th birthday. En-suites to every room is perfect and the house has great entertaining spaces with wonderful views in idyllic surroundings. Some of the equipment in house was broken but replacements had already been sought by Anna before we arrived. A few touch ups for some of the rooms wouldn’t go amiss, and I’d be cautious about the use of the cinema area if you’re not too tech savvy. We also found the WiFi to be patchy in connectivity if you’re planning to utilise this. Overall, a great stay and a property I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to others.

Four members of my family stayed here over Christmas as our own house was full. They loved it. 'Brilliant. Great. Five stars,' was one response. Although it is a typical Oxford cottage and looks small from the outside, it is suprisingly spacious inside. Aside from the comfort , my family enjoyed the personal feel of the house, the selection of books, the charming garden, the location by the river and the thoughtful provision of a vegan breakfast. Everything worked well. We will definitely book it again.

Lovely little Airbnb! Very close to the centre and convenient to have parking for 3 cars. Great stay in Cheltenham!

Anita’s cottage was beautiful. It was very easy to find with good parking. It was so cosy with lovely walks from your door step. There are cafes,pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. We had to drag ourselves away from this beautiful cottage when we were hungry,but had a fantastic meal at the Tai restaurant around the corner. The Bewdley museum was worth a visit. Thank you Anita for a lovely night away.

Anne’s place was simply perfect for us and our aging dog. Lovely space next to the house for walking etc. House was clean and had everything you needed for a long or short stay. Next to the town Main Street and all amenities and restaurants. Roger was a lovely man and nothing was too much trouble. We loved our stay and will be back again if they will have us! We loved our stay :))) so much : ))) Our little one caught 7 fishes while we were having bbq 💕For an animal lover the surroundings are like heaven. We took a long walk in broadway tower . There were little lambs hopping around like rabbits🤭 so many things to do . A perfect spot to explore 🥰

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s exactly as described and has everything you need for a comfy stay. Although we didn’t need it, it’s great to see that they have thought of elderly and disabled people as the property is fully accessible with a big bathroom including lots of hand rails, a seat in the shower etc… so perfect if you were thinking of visiting the Vale of Evesham with an elderly or disabled person. The garden is fully enclosed, which is great if you have small children or a dog, it makes the garden a very safe place, and it’s large enough to run around in! There’s lovely outdoor seating and a bbq as well… The are some lovely pubs in the villages nearby and the Anchor Inn in Fladbury has food trucks on a Tuesday night, we enjoyed yummy pizzas! There’s a large Tesco about 10 mins up the road. Sarah is lovely and very helpful indeed, very responsive! We enjoyed the pool table, that’s a lovely distraction from tv and screens! Great place to stay in a great location. Very close to the city centre, everything was in walking distance. clean, comfortable, spacious, clear instructions and recommendations. Felt right at home.

Aubrey's place was perfect. walking distance to the station for work, really quiet and peaceful. We were able to sit out in the back garden over looking the canal watching the world go by. our son who is at the uni could walk up and visit. All in all we were very happy. Thank you 😊

We had a short stay of only two nights and didn’t really get around to using the many amenities provided, but never felt we lacked for anything that we did need. House and bed were comfortable, bathroom shower fixtures were easy to work. Good stay.

Nice, modern 1 bed flat only 10 mins or so walk from New Street Station. Flat was comfortable and well appointed, plenty of bars, restaurants, shops etc. a couple of mins away. Khalli was responsive and pleasant and gave us easy to follow instructions for check in. Would happily stay here again if I needed something in Birmingham.

Great communication throughout with owners. Lovely apartment, walking distance to Birmingham town centre. The apartment was spotless and was comfortable. Will definitely be staying here for future visits to Birmingham!

Evie’s prompt responses to a needy client like me were very well received; any questions were answered promptly and in a friendly way. The apartment is at it is described in the literature- we walked to The Ashmolean in ten minutes and returned via the Westgate Centre. Lots of choices to eat and drink very close by.

This has to be one of the best Airbnb properties that we have ever stayed in. The location is perfect, a two floor two bedroom flat built over Riverside cafe, overlooking the river Severn and under 10 minutes walk from dog lane carpark. We arrived after dark on a very cold evening and were immediately struck by how warm and cosy it was. The flat is beautifully presented with high quality furnishing and fully equipped with everything you could need. The beds are very comfortable. We really appreciated the little touches which were provided - milk and water in the fridge, tea, coffee and biscuits. These are the things which make a guest feel welcome. Just sorry we could not stay longer.

Wonderful stay, 15 min walk from town along the canal. Chris was very helpful and kind. A cosy little cotswolds getaway!
