Vacation rentals in Straits of Mackinac

We had a great time. Very beautiful scenery on a peaceful lake. We enjoyed absolute relaxation and didn’t have much reason to leave.

You will instantly fall in love with the quiet lakefront beauty and the breath-taking and welcoming home just 60 or so feet from the water. The main floor of the house is close to lake level making the drama of nature around you compelling and inspiring. The waterfront and waves lapping the stone and sand shore are visible from almost all the rooms of the house, and it's a short walk to River Street in Elk Rapids. Traverse Magazine readers voted River Street "in the top 10 of ‘Sweet Small-Town Main Streets in Northern Michigan.'” The pace of life is calming in this lovely town and in this beautiful home. Owner Bernadette and property manager Sam make you feel perfectly at home. Response time to messages is instant, polite, and friendly. There's so much enjoyment to be had for all ages here.

Lovely stay, would book there again. Convenient to Sault Ste. Marie and yet completely private and remote.

Great place for the family. Plenty of things to do at the house. Also not too far from Traverse City or Boyne Mountain. Would definitely stay here again!!

My family and I were very happy with the condo. Very clean and well maintained. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and cooking dishes. Lots of room for us and very comfortable. The view on the deck was very nice with views of the #1 fairway. Beautiful golf course. The condo was a close drive to downtown.

Mary is a great host. She was available when we had questions. Nice central location and a cozy house with full kitchen. Perfect for our golf trip

Don't hesitate on this one! Clean, updated, and super kid friendly (down to kids plates/bowls/sippy cups). Walkable to disciples chair lift for ski in/out. There's an upstairs unit but even with people staying there it was very quiet. Our kids locked us out of one of the bedrooms and the handyman came so fast to help us and was super nice. Travis was very responsive, detail oriented and great to work with! We'll be back for sure!
