Waterfront vacation rentals in Stowe

We had a very comfortable stay. The setting on the river was quite peaceful, and the home was comfortable. It was a quick drive to Norwich University to watch hockey and visit our daughter, also a quick drive into Montpelier. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals in, and we enjoyed setting the puzzle. We will definitely stay again when we come back for another visit.

We had a lovely stay. Sues apartment was cozy, clean, tastefully decorated, and organized. Sue was super helpful and gave recommendations for hikes in the area and they even cleared snow off our car after the storm in the morning. We felt right at home - would definitely come back:)

June’s place is nice and cozy, great amenities including washer/dryer, beautiful views of Lake Champlain and Adirondack mountains. June was a responsive host and helped us get in to her place last minute with ease.

This place was perfect for two people. The entry way was clearly marked on where we needed to go and which door was ours. The little kitchen area was just right for quick breakfast and snacks at night. More hooks would be nice but that seems rare at any ski Airbnb. Keeping this place in mind if we come back to Jay. It is perfectly situated for the hill.

Timothy & Lisa's place was great. Made for a perfect stay. Everthing was exactlly as descibed and pictured on the site. The Studio was secluded in beautiful surrondings, but very easy to get to. Trails out the front door, but a quick drive to and from Shelburn and Burlington. Safe, clean and comfortable; nice bathroom/shower & kitchenette all well supplied. Well organized with easy household instructions and good internet & cell service. Tim was very responsive and helpful on line and Lisa was friendly when I checked in. Knew they would be there if needed , but felt completely private. Only there for one night for some good music at the Flynn and a break from cabin fever in Southern VT. Definitely a great place to stay. Thanks so Much!

Amazing stay with our friends at Doc and Missy’s place. We all wowed at the inner furbishing style. Doc and Missy are extremely responsive and helpful. Amazing hosts and amazing inner and outer environment. Will choose to come back again if we are going to Vermont again.

It was just what we needed to get away, chill and relax. Very cozy and comfortable. Beautiful scenery with the lake and the mountains in the distance. No complaints.

beautiful place right on the river! Lake Champlain and the ferry are a 5-10 minute drive, and you are able to bring your pup with!

On our last day we saw a spectacular sunset which was indicative of our whole stay. The star was of course the wonderful setting on the lake. It was enhanced by how tastefully the house was renovated, decorated and fully supplied with everything we needed. It truely exceeded our expectations and made for a memorable experience in the beautiful state of Vermont.

We had a lovely stay at Molly's house on the lake. The area is rural and beautiful; we spent days kayaking, cycling to nearby islands, and just sitting on the back patio enjoying the lake. Molly was responsive and friendly.

This is a great spot. Very comfortable and completely as advertised. The power was out when we arrived and the owner was very quick to communicate. It came back on within a half hour of us arriving. Nothing anyone can control, but they were very quick to get us this information. Highly recommend! The only negative comment is that the cleaning fee was rather steep. Double what we have paid in that area for similar properties. We understand the struggle in finding people to work, so suspect that is why.

Had a absolute amazing time Molly and Steve were super accommodating and there home exceeded every expectation my fiancé and I had, beautiful secluded location with local stores within reasonable distance 10/10 will definitely be revisiting as soon as we can!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Gorgeous peaceful accommodations on the gut. We were there to enjoy the sunsets while escaping the hustle and bustle…and we had everything we needed! Thank you so much for the opportunity! We highly recommend the property to anyone looking to enjoy the best of Champlain Islands.

The view of the lake is so serene and having access to it on the property was quite the bonus feature. My family knew it was too cold to swim but we were looking forward to the calmness of it all. Dominique let us know that she'd be around the last night of our stay which was a nice heads up in case we heard any noises in the main house above. They were very quiet neighbors! We took a trip over to Cold Hollow Sculpture Park during the day to visit during their last open weekend of the year which was a nice way to see some art and the surrounding landscape. Maybe next time we'll get a bite to eat somewhere but we had everything we needed to prepare meals so we mostly stayed put this time around. We'd love to stay again next time we're looking for a VT getaway if they'd have us.

Very comfortable stay - convenient to ski wither Sugarbush or Mad River. Philip sent specific instructions for turning the heat up on arrival. It took a little while to warm up, but individual thermostats in LR and BR worked nicely. Local recommendations for restaurants and such were spot on.

We had a wonderful week at the Jay Spot! The house is the perfect home base for adventures on the mountain. It is even better than the photos…so open, clean, comfortable and well-maintained. We loved exploring the grounds in the thigh-deep snow! The huge kitchen was great for cocoa and some home-cooked meals. We hope to come back when the snow melts to try out the hot tub! What a wonderful, wintery location. This place was just what we were looking for and we couldn’t have picked a better week to be there. Lake Memphremagog was completely frozen over and covered with snow. The lake was busy with ice fishing, snowmobiles and even trucks plowing paths, we were able to take a lovely walk on the frozen lake. Our main reason for visiting was to ski, and Jay Peak is quite close so our morning drive was short. Newport is only a few minutes away and although it is a small town there is more happening than expected, I highly recommend dining at Dusit Thai on Main Street. We also took a day off and ventured into Stowe for a day, only about an hour away. And of course Canada is only a short drive as well. As for the condo, it was just what we were looking for, the place was exactly as listed. Check in and house instructions were simple and easy to follow. I highly recommend this place if looking for a nice getaway in northern Vermont. Brian

My family loved our stay at the Stowe Nook, it’s the perfect location, close to everything in town and even the shuttle to the mountain. So convenient to have the grocery store right next-door. It’s a charming town and the townhouse is warm and cozy. My teens love having their own space downstairs. Josee is a lovely host and very easy to communicate with.
