Mountain cabin in Trodla-Tysdal after 3 hours hike

Trodla-Tysdal has been a tourist destination for hikers since 1892. Tourists have to walk for appox. 3 hours (7 km) from Kleivaland parking place. There is no driving road to Trodla-Tysdal. Trodla-Tysdal means the valley of the Norwegian Trolls due the wilderness and dramatic nature. In 1996 Reidunn and Kjell built a tourist cabin for hikers. In 1998 in addition a small private cabin. In 2017 this small cabin was renewed and now it is possible to book this small cabin for you.

This is a fantastic property in the outer lysefjord with very good standard and practical solutions. Wake up to the waves and enjoy the day at the seaside or at the sea. This property is in a beautiful location right on the seafront with its own pier in front of the cottage. Parking just behind the cottage. The cottage is 90 m2. Well-equipped nest cabin with a shipsparket in the living room, loft room and 4 bedrooms make this a place for the whole family. Possibility to rent a boat.

Welcome to Stolpabua! Here you live in rural surroundings just by the sea and the beautiful Jærkysten. We have been using the winter of 2021 to renovate the old cabin that has been here on the farm since 1936. Now we hope our guests will enjoy it here at Brekkekanten as much as we do.
