Private Ocean House with Pool

Beautiful accommodation, exceptional garden and idyllic setting. Exterior maintained every two days ( Pool, garden ). The location is very quiet. However, anticipate if you need to shop because the amenities are not nearby. Thanks to Captain Abdul (recommended by Anja) for his availability, activities and kindness. He is great, do not hesitate to go through him, especially for the access to the accommodation which is not obvious the first time. Anja is very responsive, thanks to her! We recommend this place.

One of the best airbnb in Zanzibar. The host was amazing, responds quickly and very helpful, even helped me book rides when i couldn’t find one. The place was very clean, each room had a working ac, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean and comfortable. Would definitely book again the next time i’m here 10/10.

My stay at this beautiful property in Zanzibar was incredible. The house is truly a dream—spacious, elegant, and equipped with all the amenities you could wish for. The multiple terraces provide breath taking views, perfect for enjoying both sunrise and sunset, while the private pool and gardens offer the ultimate space to unwind. There is a very special feature in this property that is a private access to the ocean. It gives you your own slice of paradise. The house is wonderfully private, making it ideal for a peaceful retreat, yet it’s close enough to explore Zanzibar’s many attractions. The host is exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure every need is met. Her warmth, attention to detail, and local tips made the experience unforgettable. Idyllic Beach House

We had a very enjoyable week in this rustic and peaceful retreat. Eating meals served beach side by the chef was a highlight. The staff is very friendly, trustworthy and responsive. Umari cooked fantastic meals for us every day and Ali arranged all our transportation as well as some truly memorable excursions. The sunset kayak trip through the mangrove forest, guided tour of Stone Town, and dolphin excursions are all once in a lifetime experiences and strongly recommended. The beach directly in front of the house is all yours, except for some happy local kids enjoying the water - there are no other tourists. If you want an authentic experience away from the sounds of modern life and tourist crowds, this is the place for you!

Me and my family had a wonderful stay at Maksud’s house. On arrival, we were unable to find the location due to getting mixed up to which Fumba the house was in. However Maksud was easy to reach and we were able to get directions. On arrival, we were met by Shaban the caretaker who was very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed about the house. Shaban too gave us a tour around the gated community which was helpful. The house had all the supplies needed such as cutlery, toilet roll, washing powder and electric to last a few days. Within the gated community there is great security, supermarket and other stores and restaurants. Throughout the stay, there were entertainment each night which we were made aware of and other extra curricular activities. Whenever we needed any help or needed questions answered, Shaban was easy to reach and super helpful and friendly. The house itself was modern, clean and just like the photos! As was the pool! We would definitely stay again!

We are extremely satisfied with our stay! A beautiful house with a huge pool, comfortable sun loungers, a large and well-maintained garden, a spacious terrace, a hammock, and swings – a perfect place to relax. The rooms are spacious, each with its own bathroom, air conditioning, and spotless cleanliness – we didn’t lack a thing. Breakfasts were delicious, always fresh, with homemade juices and a wide variety to choose from. The staff is very kind and professional, and the free airport transfer to the hotel was a fantastic bonus. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to provide valuable tips or assist in organizing local attractions. This place truly exceeds expectations, and we highly recommend it!

Our stay here was amazing, honestly beyond our expectations! The host was incredibly welcoming and even surprised us with food and tea when we arrived, which was very thoughtful. We arranged an airport pickup through them, which made everything so easy from the start. The place was perfect for our family with kids, spacious, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much, and the host made it completely hassle-free with quick and smooth communication. Staying here made our trip to Zanzibar so much better. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stress free and memorable stay!

Afra luxury Villa in Zanzibar

Yolanda is an amazing hostess. My travel companions and I were in a bind because we had issues with our other lodging reservations. Yolanda was able to accommodate our group last minute in her home and made sure we were all comfortable. Her home is beautifully decorated, equipped with everything you could need, the pool and backyard is beautiful, the water is hot and the ac works great. She is also located right in between Blue Safari and Stone Town which was very convenient for the activities we were looking to do without long transits. There are also restaurants and a grocery store within 5 min walking distance. Lastly her cleaning and managing team is very responsive and helpful as well. In short, Yolanda's home is one of the best airbnb's I've ever stayed in and she's one of the best hostess' I've ever had the pleasure of meeting with. I would recommend her and her place to anyone who is considering booking with her.
