Cabin vacation rentals in Stockholm archipelago

Thank you so much Eva and Jonas for a wonderful peaceful stay. We really were lucky to have found this place. We thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi, with no problems of other people overlooking as the jacuzzi is in the back garden, we spent every evening in there in the cold weather and enjoyed a nice clear sky full of stars and the moon. The surrounding area was beautiful, we took a short walk around to the lake and enjoyed the view and was very easy to get around in a vehicle. The place had all amenities we needed and felt right at home with the heating and lighting making it feel cozy. This is our first time in Sweden and we found the drive from Eva and Jonas place very easy from the airport (about 1 hr 20 mins) and it was very scenic along the way. Highly recommended!

Linus was very accommodating and responsive. The accommodation was very cozy and clean. There was also a very nice garden. We had a great time and definitely recommend it!

We had a very relaxing weekend break in Ljusterö with our dog. It was worth the trip for the birdsong alone ❤️ and the super sniffs in the grounds for him! The house was spotless and lovely and warm when we arrived. Self check in was easy. Helene had sent perfect directions, instructions and recommendations for us. We loved sitting on the verandas in the spring sunshine and enjoying the peace and quiet. There is a lovely swimming spot a 5 minute walk away. The house is surrounded by forest and there are neighbours but it feels really private and secluded. We had a gorgeous hot tub under the stars. It was off season but Helena and co in the Torg was open at the weekend for great coffee, food and deli goods and the tempo supermarket had most things we needed. A car is essential I think, although you could walk to the bus, if you’re feeling energetic! Highly recommended, especially as we booked last minute and Helene was super responsive and accommodating!

It's a nice, clean house with a great hot tub and high-quality sound systems.

We had a wonderful time at Izabella's place. She is very kind and accommodating, picked us up from the bus and also offered to take us back to the train station for departure. The surroundings are very quiet and idyllically located, but you need a small walk to get to the bus and shopping. But that's exactly what you want if you're looking for a quiet vacation spot. We would love to come back in the summer. It was really great and relaxing. For very long stays, however, the cabin is nothing, as there is only a small rice cooker and a microwave as a cooking facility. :)

Nice cabin in a beautiful area with the forest and lakes right behind the house. Linda and David were very hospitable and helped with any issues we had.

Our stay was simply fantastic! From the beginning, we felt completely comfortable. Communication was perfect, and everything matched the description exactly. The place was clean, cozy and ideal for a relaxing time. We would come back anytime and only recommend it!

We had a very nice and positive experience. Erik was very nice and helpful when we needed it. The cottage is simple, but perfect for those who want a cozy and picturesque experience in the Swedish archipelago. Very lovely area, you can walk everywhere and discover Husarö properly. We would love to come back!

We left Stockholm to celebrate New Year's Eve beyond rockets and fireplaces, the house was a real hit and not only our dog but also we had an incredibly cozy evening. So rural and peaceful, yet so easily accessible from the big city. We were very well received and given clear instructions around everything. The house was a classic Swedish cottage with wood stove and board floors. The decor was pleasant and caring; potted plants, embroidered tablecloths, rag rugs, and hand-woven kitchen towels. The kitchen was very well equipped. A place we are happy to recommend to others and also think that we want to come back to during a warmer season.

With children and grandchildren in Järlåsa, this is a perfect place to stay. Super breakfast and lots of small, nice touches like Q-tips in the bath and homemade jams, raise the overall impression. Highly recommended.

Nice host and beautiful surroundings through the interaction between human animals and nature ! Nicely arranged without electricity and water!

Jane was a great host! She is very open and kind and takes care of her guests. The house and the view are beautiful and the sauna was also great. 10/10 would come again!

It was an absolutely amazing stay I had in Marianne's little cabin. My warmest recommendations. Marianne was flexible and helpful from my first question and explained everything to me, so I easily got from Stockholm out to Resarö by public transport. She researched things for me, suggested things to see on the island, and was overall a present, nice, and extremely helpful hostess. I came by train and bus, and therefore couldn't bring much, but it didn't matter - everything I needed was in the cabin, shopping was in walking distance and the rest you could easily get to by bike, which Marianne also provided. The island itself and the city were pure Swedish archipelago idyll, small fine streets, beautiful houses, apple trees all over, cliffs and many different bathing places, both from ladder and sandy beach. All in all, I can only recommend everything highly: Marianne, the cabin, the island, etc. I want to go there again!

We visited Jasmine and Thomas's cottage for the second time. We felt very welcome. We'll be sure to get back to them and recommend it to others!
