Accommodation is amazing, 6 private en-suite chalets with a central boma area that has 3 separate kitchens with everything you could need to cook (there is a restaurant level prep kitchen). Pool is amazing but be okay with nature being around you, and do the game drives offered by Josh, so worth it! Sundowners by the hippo pool are a must and nightly fires lit for you are such a perk. This place is amazing, it’s huge and brilliant for a big family get away. Privacy and entertainment all in one, and the game on the farm is plentiful and so beautiful. The photos do not do this justice, the place will blow you away when you arrive. But bypass Airbnb and contact the host directly on their website, responsive and will save you some bucks.

We loved it so much! The place is beautiful and things that we really find important like quality beds and a Hot shower with good pressure makes it so much enjoyable! It was peaceful and we would love to take our extended family there soon. We loved our game drive inside the place too that just made it extra special. Thank you Peter and Staff for hosting us, our only regret was only booking 2 days, it should have been more!

Our stay was fantastic. Waking up to birdsong in a most tranquil place was a truly special experience. We will definitely visit again!

What a gem! We visited as 2 couples, a newborn and two children and everyone had a great time. Marlien and Mikhail went the extra mile to make sure we could manage with a newborn and also so we could watch the boks play! The wildlife and location is beautiful and you can enjoy everything from just sitting on the shaded stoep. The house has everything you need and one of the best equipped kitchens we have been to. The beds were super comfortable and Dennis and Monica were superstars in ensuring our space was clean everyday. Will definitely return!

Palala isa great place to relax from the stress of normal life. Nicely tucked away next to the palala river you can go for great walks, explore the surroundings by car and have a nice braai in the evenings (or at any time you like). We were here for the third time and will come again next time in SA.

The house and its location were both beautiful, with no neighbors in sight. Soekie was a wonderful host. We enjoyed seeing many animals on the game drive. Please arrive promptly to avoid getting lost.

We had a very pleasant stay in the delightful peaceful surroundings. The house was very comfortable and clean, Caroline was very helpful as host and we found everything in excellent working order. The location is quiet and private with good access to nearby birding sites.

We had a fantastic stay in Casa de la Presa, so well equipped and comfortable. We were sad to stay only one night as the views and surroundings were beautiful. Jacques was so helpful
