Vacation rentals in Steenwijkerwold

Vera and Ellen informed us about everything in time and were very friendly. The living room with the sofas in front of the gas fireplace is very cozily furnished, the kitchen has everything you need and the bathroom is nice. Everything was very clean. The beds are also great, you can sleep great in them. The outdoor facilities are well maintained and appealing, the location quiet, but still close to Steenwijk or to the highway if you want to do something. Everything is really very good except for the fact that you have almost no space for your clothes. But we got that sort of sort and wasn't crucial. We highly recommend this apartment!

Great place. Close to nature. Well equipped. We were on a work trip and found the quietness great for after a stressful day.

It was a nice place, quiet park and Sander was very easy to reach. He also thought along very well. I am already in my agenda to see when I can come back to his nice cottage. Thanks Sander and see you soon!

We stayed with our two children (4 and 7 years) in the nice "Aelderhoes". A cozily furnished house that has all the comforts and where you immediately feel at home. The house is in a beautiful area where there is plenty to see and do. Wildlands Emmen is recommended (very nice zoo) and the Hunebed center is also very nice. There is also plenty within walking distance; nice hiking, visiting the mill (only on Saturday afternoon) or hiking through Oud Aalden. We were all sorry to have to go home and would love to come back!

Our stay at Josine's was great! We felt comfortable right from the start. The chalet is furnished with a lot of love & is totally cozy. The information regarding possible excursions & activities was very helpful. The chalet was very clean & we were able to enjoy the tranquility and the cozy cottage. The hot tub is also recommended. In short: We didn't miss anything & we'd love to come back! Absolutely recommended.

A very cozy accommodation in the immediate vicinity of Giethoorn. Dwarsgracht is as beautiful as Giethoorn, but much more quiet! A spacious, clean house with all the comforts. In the kitchen a lot of crockery and cutlery, a fair amount of herbs, olive oil, pepper and salt etc. In the garden, there are fresh herbs which can be used. All appliances in the house functioned properly; in the living room a cozy (electric) fireplace. The contact with Eva was very pleasant, she always responded very quickly and adequately. In short: a place to remember!

A wonderful place, with a lot of privacy, in a beautiful environment. The cottage is very fully furnished. Also ideal if you have a dog, due to the fully enclosed garden. A car or bike is useful because shops are a couple of miles away. Nearby you can go hiking (e.g. at the Meeuwenplas) in particularly beautiful nature. Stephan is a friendly and welcoming host. All in all, it definitely makes a place you want to go back to.

Very nice private wellness area where you can switch off for a few days. Reception and communication with Nanda and Marten was very good. Marten had even preheated the pool for us for the accommodation. The place is highly recommended.
