This place is a great stay to get away from life to relax, celebrate, and take in some beautiful scenery. We rocked in the new years at the farmhouse and it was overall a great experience! They were even nice enough to give us a welcome bottles of drinks and New Years hats! The only issue we had was entering the access code that was provided. Called the host, and she was very responsive and gave an alternative way of unlocking so no major setbacks of checking in! We hope we were good house guests as we left it as best as we could when we first arrived. Thank you again for everything! Would recommend this countryside gem!

Thanks to Veronica for easy check in, great communication, app with one touch to lock front door was convenient. The setting was perfect for 5 college boys and 2 moms. Able to prep food in the kitchen while boys watched the game in the living room. They enjoyed the Xbox, pool table and separate space to hang out. The bedrooms had privacy and one touch shades for the windows. We appreciated the driveway shoveled free of snow for us. Thanks for a great stay. We’d love to stay again while our son is at college! I had an amazing stay at this property! The host was phenomenal – incredibly communicative, responsive, and genuinely kind. From the moment I booked, Dan made sure I had all the details I needed and were quick to respond to any questions I had. The house itself was stunning – spacious, beautifully designed, and perfect for a big group. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we loved relaxing in such a scenic setting. It felt like a home away from home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We also drive about 30 minutes to go skiing at Tussey Mountain which was so fun. Going in February the roads were extremely icy, without a four wheel drive vehicle you won’t make it up the driveway. So definitely keep that in mind when planning what cars to bring! Highly recommend this spot!

Loooooves our new years eve getaway. well decorated and well stocked with coffee, towels etc. We really appreciated the cute hot tub and listening to the creek! The bed was firm personally we loved that! Lots of plug, lightning, full-time laundry and fridge. Easy river to near by small towns! We did work from computers and the wifi worked but was a tad slow. Not an issue to browse on phones, watch tv, etc but heads up in case looking for a work spot. Would stay again, loved it!!

We travel alot due to both professional and family adventures staying with many airbnbs. This house was by far the cleanest and offered a safe environment. On this trip we experienced a few small "hiccups" including the TV remote being not functional due to batteries needing replaced and the stove not working (but the burners did!) HOWEVER the host responded and found a solution quickly. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future (summer) when passing through Altoona.

We had an amazing weekend at this cabin. The owner, Gary, is very nice, responsive, and made sure we had a great stay. The cabin was beautiful and we look forward to coming back!

This house and location was exactly as described and represented. We were there for a holiday get together and a track meet at Penn State. House was located close to campus and had lots of stores and restaurants close at hand yet in a nice neighborhood. Place was clean and well stocked. Our ages for our kids were 4 -18 yrs of age and every one of them loved the house - from the hot tub to the multiple tv's to the game room. Loved the large dining room table for all of us to sit and eat comfortably. Definitely recommend and I look forward to returning.

Great little camper on a great campground. We are a family of 4 (2 young kids) and the camper as well as the campground was perfect for everyone. Will come back!

Mervin’s cabin was perfect! It was exactly what was advertised. Super peaceful, so relaxing, and exactly what we were looking for to ring in the new year! I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone!

Wow, what an amazing experience. Michele and Kate's Airbnb is even better than described -- it is spacious, warm, and luxurious! The kitchen is incredible and had many condiments to use, and the bathrooms are pure luxury with so many extras such as bath salts, toothpaste, etc. The views out of every window are spectacular. The beds are comfortable, and the decor throughout the house is beautiful. It's clear this is a well-loved home turned into an Airbnb. Kate was really warm and helpful when I had questions. This Airbnb is a real bargain looking at all that it offers, and I am hopeful it will be available the next time my family is in the area. Thank you, Michele and Kate, for making our holiday special!

Very clean and comfortable and spacious. We did use the space heater because it was a bit chilly but it worked great heating up the entire apartment. Stairs are steep but sturdy. We had asked for an early check in and it was no problem! We didn’t make it to the store below but it looked neat from the outside! All in all a great stay.

Great stay! Comfortable beds & pillow. Clean, clean sheets, clean towels. Such a cute place! Helen did a wonderful job decorating and organizing! GREAT location. Kids loved the “game room” with their own TV, foosball and pac man game to entertain them. Already booked for a second visit in a few weeks. So much better than staying in a hotel, plus you can do laundry (laundry pods were provided). Would highly recommend.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at David’s place and as always was not disappointed. Nice addition of the built-in pool, which we did not try due to the weather hopefully, maybe this summer

Vanessa and George were such amazing hosts! They responded so quickly every time I reached out and were more than accommodating. We were a group of people coming into town for the PSU football game and this stay was in a perfect location and worked out beautifully for our group. We even got to use the hot tub after a long day of tailgating. I highly recommend staying here! The grounds are beautiful! We’ll be back for sure.

Great place to stay on our drive through PA. Beautiful landscape around the house and lots of open land - our dogs loved it!

The pictures do not do this place justice. Pictures are very modest but just the stained glass alone needs to be highlighted a little more in my opinion. It was BEAUTIFUL! The bathroom and tub were their own star too! As a lover of everything spooky, this place was such a perfect place to just marvel at its beauty. I came to spend a lowkey New Year’s eve and day with my toddler and she loved it just as much as me! I really enjoyed tried to keep a fire going inside and reading the books and playing the games. It’s like I could never go bored! I wish I could’ve stayed longer!! This place definitely makes memories

we had such a wonderful stay. we felt safe and it was only a few minutes from the event we attended. We would stay again.

Overall this place had everything we needed for a quick visit. It was also close enough to lots of different restaurants which was nice since we only stayed 2 nights we ordered in most meals. The host also quickly responded when I reached out to him asking if they had a sewing needle I could borrow when my son got a splinter which was very helpful. Which reminds me, I would bring house shoes to wear here because the floors are very old wood.

My husband and I (and our two beagles) had a fantastic time staying here! We even extended our stay because the area and home was so great. I have no complaints, everything was perfect. We will def stay here again next time we're in town to see my in-law's. Zetta, thank you for everything!

Cheryl's place was great, with lots of thoughtful amenities like snacks, extra toothbrushes and other toiletries, toys & games, etc. It was also clean, and had an easy check in. Great stay overall! One note is that the house is directly on a busy road, but there is also a large back yard if you have kids that need to burn some energy.

We had a very nice stay as we visited the area to celebrate Christmas with my family. The hosts had a robust welcome basket with a variety of goodies (which we didn’t get a chance to dig into unfortunately lol). The place was very clean and homey. It was perfect for my wife and I, and our pets.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a nice relaxing spot! The house was super clean and everything you would need was provided. We plan on staying again next time we go to a Penn State game!
