This place was incredible, you can really tell the attention to detail and how so much space was utilised. Allan is an incredible host, provided very clear instructions which were all very reasonable. We had 10 people and a dog stay and it didn’t feel cramped at all. The outdoor area was amazing and so comfortable being able to sit around a table or laze on some deck chairs but the biggest hit for everyone was that games room. The outdoor sink was a bonus to clean any seafood that was caught without stinking an area out, the outdoor shower to rinse sand before entering the house and the bbq were very useful. Absolutely worth every dollar! So many things that you’d think you’d need to bring (which we did) was already provided which was lovely! Very close to beach and Jetty so the location was perfect, neighbours were very kind. I’d only suggest to bring your own pillows if possible, but that doesn’t change the fact that this place is truly fantastic. Would definitely come back again!

Wonderful stay! The place was tidy, comfy pillows, beds and sheets. Great climate control with fans in every room and an aircon too. Everything was very comfortable. Perfect place for a couple to stay. So close to the beach, beautiful view! Matt was also super friendly and accommodating, also responding very promptly! Highly recommend :)

We have stayed at Black Point and walked past Peter's Port many times and we couldn't be happier we chose to stay here for this holiday. Russell was very responsive and flexible with some of our requests which really made the stay more enjoyable. The property itself is basically the perfect beach side shack. It smelt and was very clean upon our arrival and the kitchen was very well stocked which is often not the case. Its so good that the essentials get left for use by the next people (clingwrap etc). Having access to the shed was excellent with the associated crab rakes, kayaks etc. a real bonus. It really was a great stay and we even caught some fish directly off the balcony at high tide one morning. 👌

Great place , great location walking distance to Main Street and front beach/ kiosk Heaps of room in accomodation, lots of lounges and plenty of chill out areas, great bedrooms and comply beds. Very clean and all the modern needs. During day we chilled outside and at night we had WI competitions Great place . Will definitely be back. Ben was very helpful, including with the booking.

My husband, my Son, my 2 Grandsons and I thought it was a lovely and spacious house, close to amenities, the beach, only a short drive to other towns. I will let my friends now about the accommodation at 'Edithburgh Shack' Thankyou

The house is lovely and very clean, and the view is spectacular. It has everything you need, with plenty of space and extras, as well as good communication from the hosts. Definitely recommend. Richard and Jo Dryden

We had a fantastic stay! The location is unbeatable—so close to the coastline and within walking distance of the beach and jetty. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The host was excellent with communication, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We would definitely love to come back again in the future. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the coastal charm!

Alan's place is ideal for a family beach holiday where you all arrive, bunk in and have a terrifc time. Plenty of space and lovely view! Great pub nearby and friendly town.

Our second time at Pegs Place and just as great as last time! Gino was a wonderful host, we felt right at home. Our kids loved helping feed the animals each day, interacting with the various livestock and the home felt comfortable and well appointed. We'll be back for a third round some time in the future!
