Vacation rentals with a pool in Sri Lanka

Amazing place. I really loved this house. My kids loved the pool and they wanted to stay longer :) I truly recommend this place.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would!! What a find - we have traveled the world in Airbnbs and this is one of our all time favs! From the warm welcome, to help with planning our onward journey along with arranging a private driver, Buddhika our host could not have been more accommodating. His wife kindly prepared us the most delicious Sri Lankan curry…even the kids who don’t like curry had clean plates! This was our first stop in Sri Lanka and it was amazing in every way. The house itself is absolutely huge and the photos don’t do it justice. The outdoor spaces offer a perfect spot for morning yoga, an afternoon dip in the pool and to chill of an evening. We’re already planning our next visit! Thank you again for a truly memorable stay, your hospitality and kindness is something we will always remember.

We recently stayed at this stunning property with our toddler and infant, and words can’t fully capture how incredible it was. The place is not only beautiful but meticulously maintained, offering an extremely comfortable and clean environment. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and every room we stayed in had a perfect sea view. Traveling with small children can sometimes be challenging, but this place made it so easy. It’s incredibly safe and child-friendly, which made our experience even better. The staff was beyond courteous and helpful, going out of their way to assist us whenever needed. A huge thank you to Lauren and Neal for hosting us — your hospitality made our trip unforgettable. We highly recommend this place to everyone!”

I have just spent a magical few days in this beautiful villa. It’s clean and bright and beautifully designed and so peaceful overlooking a paddy field. The staff are delightful and can do or organise anything for you. The swimming pool is a big plus. I can’t wait to come back !

Amazing stay at the skinny beach house. We stayed with our toddler and every morning he would ask to go straight onto the beach to see the sea turtles swimming in the ocean. Core memories were made in this house 💗

Our stay at “K-House” was nothing short of exceptional. The cooking was outstanding, and the service was impeccable—always attentive, extremely friendly, and ready to help at any moment. The property itself exceeded our expectations; it was even more beautiful and thoughtfully designed than it appeared online. The nearby beach was stunning, and the manager, along with the entire team, made our experience unforgettable. They went above and beyond, organizing a magical New Year’s dinner under the palm trees, complete with fireworks—an experience we’ll cherish forever. Everything was spotless and perfectly maintained, adding to the comfort of our stay. We would return to “K-House” just for the incredible team alone. Truly an amazing experience from start to finish.

This is our second stay at Villa Sapphire and we once again thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was wonderful to walk through the door and be warmly greeted by Chaminda with a delicious lunch waiting for us. Villa Sapphire is such a comfortable and relaxing place to be, we enjoyed the familiarity of our second stay and appreciated the improvements that Gizelle and Simon had made with wonderful new fitted wardrobe units in the bedrooms. The property is clearly well loved, perfectly maintained with super comfortable beds, and a very peaceful environment. We stayed for 8 nights and Chaminda cooked for us on 4 of these, we had 2 different curry nights, both excellent and local fish cooked in the bbq. There are also excellent restaurants in Hikkaduwa, Neelas is our favourite for lunch and we enjoyed a very authentic new Italian restaurant, Italian Natura which we would highly recommend. Everything here is just perfect, we can’t recommend it highly enough and we will certainly be back.

The apartment was really great. Everything was as described and you just felt at home. Kanishka answers super fast and helps immediately. The pool on the roof is really a highlight. We would love to come back.

A very pleasant stay, clean environment, a beautiful rooftop pool that is usually empty, and a great host. The place looks better in reality than in the photos.

I stayed at Sumudu's place with my mother for nearly 4 weeks. we felt right at home. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The complex was secure and had gym and a pool. Sumudu is such a responsive and helpful host. Event hough the apartment complex was right next to a busy street, the apartment was very quiet. There are lot of supermartkets and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend Sumudu's place to anyone who is looking for a place near Colombo.

Loved the place the view was amazing .. h can watch the sun rise and sun set from your bedroom .. will always keep going .. loved evey min there .. security is extemly good and the caretaker lady was very sweet ..

Very cool space with TONS of room. Owner is easy to talk to and has good suggestions. Location is a little off the beaten path but easy to get to the main area. reccommend!

Loved the place here. Everything was so organised and felt like we were staying in a 5 star property. The beach view was amazing! We made full use of our 2 day stay here by going to the beach and the pool. I had only 1 issue which is the lock in the common bathroom was not working. This was fixed in 1 day but , so that would be the only issue I faced. Outside of that I will highly recommend this place!

Villa was beautiful and characterful, Tia and Sri Lanka's waiters were welcoming and accommodating and helped us a lot!The surprise was that the villa was full of fireflies at night, and even fireflies in your room.

The peace and calm is heavenly. This really is a haven. Birds are plentiful and beautiful, the garden and pool just gorgeous. What really makes the stay is the genuine kindness and helpfulness of Jagath and Upul. They were discreet yet so ready with a juice, a cup of tea, (even hot ginger for a cough) or a tuktuk ride. Meals were delicious especially the curry, guacamole and cakes. A truly memorable home and we mustn’t forget the energetic, cuddly Mikki.

Pepper jungle is a large modern villa in a peaceful hilltop with views to die for! Antoinette had contacted me days before our arrival with helpful instructions and welcoming us. There are 3 spacious gorgeous bedrooms and bathrooms. All have ceiling fans and AC. There is a large open plan living room and kitchen with windows all around to provide access to the balcony and the pool. Whilst we were there, we had two lovely Sunethra and Chathuranga who came in the morning to make us breakfast and then tidy up the villa. We also had a cooking class with Sunethra which was a wonderful opportunity to learn cook Sri Lankan food in such beautiful setting! Both Pick-me and Uber apps work there so we used these to order cars and Tuk Tuk to take us to Galle and other places. All in all, we had a wonderful stay there and will definitely be going back in the future. Wonderful hosts!

An incredible place that really feels like your own personal paradise. With fantastic staff and five star accommodation we really felt lucky throughout our entire stay. The pictures are great but really when you first arrive at the villa you’ll get a sense of how much more there is to offer in person from Kumara Villa. It’s a great location that’s only a short walk or drive to the beach and set back far enough so you can swim in the pool or relaxin in the gardens surrounded by the sounds of wildlife and nature. We would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Weligama and would love to return one day soon!

At Indie’s we truly felt cared for , it’s a home away from home with the added touch of sea breeze & a beautiful view . Highly recommend this vacation villa — it’s perfect for a family ! Our stay began with Nirman tracking us from Colombo itself - making sure we’ve reached safe. He waited till we reached Galle (Indies’ is about 2hrs from the airport) , showed us around — rooms were spacious , the beds had crisp bed linen , a clean good sized pool , large living area on the top floor over looking the sea , on the ground floor was an open plan kitchen - a perfect hang out spot / focal point of the house . A private beach to appreciate the sunrise & sunset … Everyday began with Dhirusha & Nirman serving us tasty breakfast ( continental , Sri Lankan … ) . Nirman helped us with our itinerary planning - galle fort , whale watching etc .. where to have lunch , dinner etc ..the restaurant next door is conveniently placed and has some real good food as well !
