Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Speculator

Brooke's place is a good size...lots of room and so many nice touches (especially the abundant amenities provided for a small child). Very clean. Just as pictured. All good. The only thing I'd say as a bit of info to a prospective Airbnb-er, is that this location is not a walk to town spot, unless you consider 1.7 miles to the main shopping/dining area walkable. That said, it is still incredibly convenient...super quick drive to town or to race track or the lake...all while staying in a quiet, woodsy neighborhood setting.

Our group had a wonderful stay at the barn house! Plenty of space for everyone including the kids and dogs (especially loved how dog-friendly the home was)! The house was thoughtfully stocked, clean, and super comfortable. Very peaceful setting, lots of wildlife - we loved watching a couples of foxes play in the yard in the early morning. And the fire pit is a great evening spot. Thank you Jennifer and Aaron for your hospitality!

Nancy was a great host from the second we booked her listing. Her home was immaculate and the perfect location for our weekend away. Nancy provided us with so many recommendations on local restaurants, bars, spas etc. A home away from home. We can’t wait to visit again, thanks again.

The house was exactly what is pictured. We have been here a few times and each time we were not disappointed. Could use a couple full size mirrors but other than that the place was immaculate and Cindy is very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here.

Kristy's place was cozy and welcoming. It snowed a good bit on 2 of the days we stayed, but someone was there to clear the drive and sidewalk each time. The picture window on the front of the house was the best for birdwatching at the feeder that the host kept filled! This home is private and extremely clean. Beds were comfy and the kitchen well stocked. There are soaps, shampoo, hairdryer and even Charmin in the bathrooms. The space worked well for our aunt in a wheelchair also. Overall we just can't say enough good things about this property and owner!

We had a a great stay! House and location was extremely peaceful. We loved the hot tub, wrap around porch and massage chair. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!

We had an excellent time staying at Sarah’s beautiful country home! The Airbnb was spacious, full of character, and had everything we could want. Sarah was an excellent and communicative host and made our stay easy by responding quickly to any questions we may have had. We took the farm tour and really enjoyed it, definitely recommend if you have some free time!

Had a wonderful stay at the house. Michael and Victoria were extremely responsive and gracious hosts. The house was clean and well stocked with towels and cooking supplies and toys/books for young kids. It was the perfect size for a large family. Would recommend staying here any time of year!

We had a great stay. The house is very big, spacious, well decorated and clean. It felt very cozy. The house rules were clear and the host was reachable at any time.

Loraine’s place was perfect for what I needed. We went skiing at Sugar Bush in VT and then travelled to NY to ski again at a different mountain. We got there a little late and left early so I didn’t get to spend much time there. The kids really enjoyed the warm stove and said the place was real cozy. The barn had Starlink internet which helped keep the kids occupied. Everything was excellent. I appreciated being able to book just one night and the price was great I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I was in the area and needed a place to stay.

We had an amazing stay at Kristin and Dave’s cottage and cannot wait to return. The cottage was spotless, very well equipped, and supremely comfortable. Both Kristin and Dave were very responsive, extremely helpful, and provided great instructions and assistance. The location was beautiful and so peaceful. The outdoor space was such a nice option, and the porch and pool were so nice to relax in. We wholeheartedly recommend the cottage!

We had such a great time at Ashley's place and really appreciated the welcome basket & being able to bring our 2 kitties with us to stay that need meds. (We also loved the neighborhood porch kitty that visited daily.) Thank you SO much, Ashley!

Everything about this stay was amazing. Victoria is an amazing host, very welcoming and helpful. You can tell she takes pride in her home and community. I look forward to staying with her again in the future.

This house was amazing. We were in town to celebrate my daughter’s wedding and had friends and family stay with us. It was plenty big enough for 7 adults, 2 teen agers and my 12 yr old son. It was fresh and clean and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, the basement was nice to hang out and unwind after a day of shopping. Great hosts. I would definitely book again and recommend to anyone. Price is very reasonable for families traveling together or couples. 5 Stars!

Couldn’t recommend Green Haven anymore. Barbara and Gregory were fantastic hosts, were extremely hands on and accommodating to make it a perfect stay for my family and dog. Everything in the listing is described perfectly and the property and cabins are super clean. Location is fantastic as well, just a very short drive into Lake George village.

Cute little place, perfect for two. Great location for what we had planned for the couple days we were in the area. The listing is pet friendly so that's a bonus for me. Bed was comfortable. The only downside is whoever lives upstairs wears cement shoes 🤣 I mean you could hear every step they took... Also, it snowed a few inches while we were there & there was no snow removal or a shovel (if there was a shovel I didn't see it) to clear a path for ourselves if we wanted to.

Very nice and Nicholas was super helpful with all the accommodations. The cabin was very clean and had everything needed for a long weekend. I would definitely stay here again really close to the lake and town.

The place was absolutely perfect for us. The beds were VERY comfortable, the instructions and extra info were incredibly detailed and helpful. The entire cabin was super clean and comfortable with a ton of lovely details that made the whole experience wonderful. Communication was great. Where do I begin, firstly Hunor was amazing from the time I first reached out about booking up until the time we met in person when we arrived. What an amazing Host and person, Cabin was beautiful and in the best location and exactly as described. the bedroom view was everything I was looking for, amazing view of nature surround by the serenity of blue jays and chipmunks. We decided to take his recommendation and try the hiking trail which was an amazing experience. Not only was Hunor responsive regarding our stay but his conversation we had about life showed his personality and character, such a friendly individual. Not only will we be back but we will be back with friends for the winter as Hunor told me of a nice ski resort close by. This by far was one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. Thank you for everything !

This was a wonderful vacation experience on every level. The house was beautiful, very clean and so so cozy-- we immediately felt at home. Kerri and Dave were very kind and responsive hosts. All instructions were easy and clear, and they were very generous in the use of their extra amenities (beach toys, boats, towels, etc.). The area is gorgeous, with lots to do, from the lake beach to nearby amusement parks to local hikes. Our family had a wonderful time-- I highly recommend staying at Kerri's and Dave's!

Beautiful, peaceful location with a stunning view looking east towards Vermont at the mountains. Everything is as advertised with the pictures. It is a rustic A-frame cottage with a wonderful wood-burning stove. The whole place was beautifully accented with candles and sophisticated country charm. We loved the record player and all the Christmas albums. Lizzie is a super host who is very responsive and accommodating. This is a great "get-away" location and is highly recommended. We visited three years ago and were back again. The improvements and new appointments were impressive and added to the charm. Looking forward to coming back in the future.
