Cabin vacation rentals in Spearfish

This was an awesome cabin with amazing views! Was a little further out then we thought but such cute towns near by to check out! Plenty of room for everyone, hot tub felt great! We had one little issue with a scammer finding my reservation but the hosts were quick to respond and confirm our plans! Would recommend this to Anyone!

Our family had a comfortable stay at this Airbnb near Sturgis. The location offered a nice balance of nature and convenience, with a quick trip into town for any necessities or entertainment. The property had everything we needed, including a fun game room and ample space for our group of eight adults, three little ones, and our two corgis. We particularly appreciated the pet-friendly policy. The host was attentive and reached out a couple of times to ensure our stay went smoothly.

the place was awesome and clean. had an issue with the water heater but the problem was handled very fast

the home was lovely. kitchen well stocked with everything you need to stay in and cook together. hot tub was wonderful and close to the door so you don't freeze getting back inside. great for our pets as well.

Beautiful cabin! Owner was very accommodating! Upon arrival the cabin appeared to not be cleaned by the cleaning service, owner refunded us for the first nights stay which was wonderful. Will be recommending to my family and friends ♥️

Great price for a quick weekend away with plenty of beds for all guests. Only thing I would mention is that there are not a lot of towels between needing to shower and using the hot tub.

We had an amazing stay at Timberland Lodge! Our group of 10 found the space to be perfect for our winter getaway. The lodge was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was a highlight—clean, well-maintained, and the perfect way to relax after a day on the slopes. The location was fantastic—close to Terry Peak for skiing and just a short drive to Lead and Deadwood for dining and entertainment. We loved the foosball table for some friendly competition in the evenings. If you're planning a trip to the Black Hills in the winter, we wholeheartedly recommend Timberland Lodge. It was the perfect home base for our adventure, and we can’t wait to come back!

very beautiful views and very beautiful house! we managed to get a 5th wheel up to it with our side by side but I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you're super skilled with trailers. I have nothing to complain about with this house. Definitely would recommend the place to others to stay at! The hosts were VERY quick at responded which was top tier!!

Great place to stay. We liked how she had more natural products/ soaps to use and noticed the norwex rags 😊 The only issue we had was two of the basement bedroom light fixtures sometimes wouldn’t work and the bulbs are super dim. So bedside lamps would be helpful! Overall was very nice!

Absolutely love this place! We had a great time staying here and loved the surrounding area! Will be coming back for sure in the future!

Very nice campground. The cabin we stayed in was clean and cozy. The site itself was very well equipped and the staff were kind.

Forgot to mention in my last review, but maybe the best thing about this spot is the mattress! It’s memory foam!

My only complaint when booking this place is it’s kind of confusing to find. You will be staying at the HTR BLACK HILLS RESORT not a typical Airbnb however it is still all very nice. The check in is at the main office on the resort. I never received check in instructions so I had to figure that part out for myself and “Jerry” will never respond to any texts you send on the app. I’m assuming you’re supposed to just call the resort? Other than that slight confusion with finding it and checking in I have no complaints and this cute, homey cabin. It is truly a great place in an amazing location with excellent views of the hills!

This place was exactly what we were looking for for our large family. It was well kept up, clean and there was lots to do within a short driving distance.

What a beautiful cabin to spend a few days during my birthday week. We arrived late afternoon as the sun was setting and found it easily per Angela’s directions and photos. Gorgeous wood interior, open floor plan and spacious master bedroom made us feel comfortable and right at home. Angela went above and beyond to make our stay memorable by providing thoughtful amenities for us to use throughout the cabin. Games, movies, puzzles, etc. Angela also delivered flowers my friend had bought for my birthday and they were waiting when we got there. We haven’t felt that relaxed in a long time. We would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend Darby’s Cabin and Angela again.

Fantastic, fantastic place! The pictures don’t say enough! The house was set up so nice for a large group. Big kitchen, dining room. We loved the fireplace.. And the beautiful valley where the house is located.

grandma's place is awesome. beautiful spot, close to town. lots of wildlife. firepit would have been nice, but I can see the liability that goes along with that 🔥

Just absolutely love this place! As a frequent visitor to the Black Hills we get an Air BNB cabin about 6 or 8 times a year and this was in the top 5% of places we have stayed for sure! Loved the location and the 2 live creeks right on the property that feed into trout ponds! Forgot to bring a fishing pole but we did see some fish jump out of the water so they must be in there! Thanks again to Carmen and especially to co host Julie who was very responsive and accommodating!

The setting and cabin were just magical. Dan helped provide just the relaxing experience my wife and I needed - such a special find, and a fantastic individual! Honored to have been let stay at his home.

This is our second time staying here - it’s just as beautiful in the fall as it is in the winter. My dog and I had a great time exploring, sitting on the deck, observing the wildlife (daily visits from many deer, turkeys, etc). It’s very peaceful. The deck is our favorite place to hang. The addition of the recliner inside is so great - as is the new deck furniture. Truly a little slice of heaven. Will definitely be back again!

Absolutely beautiful space, peaceful, and met expectations based off the listing. We were able to bring our dog and they even provided a leash just in case! The hot tub area is super cute and has privacy without feeling shut off and the home was clean and welcoming. Would stay again if in the area!
