Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Southern District

Frank's place was a fantastic spot to explore Cheung Chau. We found it to be beautifully decorated, fitted with everything you could need, and hidden in the most peaceful area. The beach farther down Peak Road West was a great swimming spot and we really enjoyed the bbq outside. Worth the hike for sure!

Great place, great host. If you are looking for a quiet place yet well connected place to stay, I highly recommend John's place. The place is tidy, clean and very roomy in Hong Kong standard. I love how it's surrounded with all the trees on the mountain, and it even offer a view of the ocean. Even though it's not as convenience to go to the city, I feel it's worth it.

The place is a bit difficult to find especially when it is dark(a long gravel path and somewhere no street lamps), the village is very rural. The equipment is enough with the large garden with roof and a high pressure hose because I brought a bicycle there; you must need to burn mosquito coils doing something outside. Faye was not there during my stay so I could use the whole floor myself. When the check-in, her mother introduced me to the house and her brother helped me sometimes. And her replies were very fast and helpful!

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. Jean-Pierre and Dora are extremely proactive in making us feel welcome and were super helpful with whatever we needed. Their helper Charie is the warmest person you could ever ask for to greet you after a long journey. She is both available and discrete. The pictures on the listing do not do the house and the view justice. Highly recommended!

Great locale with many amenities. Mark was very communicative and accommodating. Spot is easy to get to and well worth the money.

lovely house and kind host who is responsive to questions and assistance. the house is in a very good location, only a short walk to Pui O Beach and restaurants, taxi stand and bus stop only a minutes walk away. the house has plenty of room and facilities which is a nice surprise (a very welcomed feel) compared to accommodation in the central of HK! would definitely stay again if visiting the area :)

Fantastic stay at Pete's place. We had an issue with the electricity but Pete responded immediately and got it sorted. This was our second stay and we will be staying again 3 times this year. Great place to stay in Happy Valley.

The location of the flat was exceptional! The size was also fantastic - very spacious for a one bedroom flat. My husband and I had our family over for dinner on Christmas Eve and the flat comfortably accommodated 6 people around the white drop-leave table. Marie-Lorraine was responsive to questions and requests for information. We will stay here next time we travel to HK. Since the flat doesn’t have WiFi, you may want to secure a device if you plan to work or use the TV while you’re there. We tried to use our phones but they were too slow. Easy fixes are available for next time. Enjoy - I highly recommend!

Malo's place is a small slice of peace and quiet in the bustling of Hong Kong. Not only is it located in the most charming part of the city full of small cafes and across from a few colorful basketball courts, the layout of the apartment makes you feel immediately at home. The rooftop is exceptional. A nice place to rest after a day of adventure. As a host, Malo was kind and attentive. With small touches that made his home feel like a hotel. Communication was consistent and check in was a breeze. I would totally stay again.

The place is really quite and cozy. I like this place. Both Kennedy town and HKU MTR stations are close. It is fit for one or two persons. Overall, Hong Kong has a lot of stairs and if you have a big luggage then it could be a little bit problematic.

Marcos’s flat is unique as you can see from the photos. Lots of ornaments from his extensive travels. Pros - location next to beach, Stanley market, restaurants, bus station and shops. Cons - flat is on the 5th floor and there is no lift. Although quirky I felt at home.

We had a great stay at Sertac and Lisa’s place. It was the perfect size and set-up for our family, the location was very convenient, and the air-conditioning was perfect for the hot days. We’d happily stay again next time we were in Hong Kong!

Christine is nice host, her place is amazing, best location for work and site seeing. Nice Chinese restaurant and michelin restaurant, less than 5 minutes walking. Downstairs is SOHO PMQ, close to LKF, super convenient to meet friend to have a drink.

We just returned from three nights at Tess’s beautiful place in Central. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Not only is Hong Kong so much fun, particularly the area where Tess is apartment is located, but the apartment itself is lovely. Tess has beautiful taste. The apartment is well appointed, very comfortable, and prrfect for two people. It looks just like the photos and is an oasis in a very lively city. With a bonus of a great deck, Would certainly like to come back to Hong Kong and Tess’s place again. Thank you, Tess!

The owner was so kind and understanding our situation. It was also useful because the nearby food places were well recommended. If I travel to Hong Kong again next time, I will definitely use it again.

The place was hard to get to... the hill is no joke. But my kids LOVED it! The place was super comfortable, and the toys were a huge hit! My son loved the swing on the roof, and the fact there was beach toys was a huge hit with my daughter.

While the location is about a 20-30 min walk to either beach, it is very easy to get to the closest bus stop. Be sure to download the Lantau Bus app for bus arrival times. There are some great hikes right from the flat that are amazing and not to be missed by outdoor enthusiasts. Be sure to get details from the hosts’ convenient orientation binder. The flat itself is great. Very clean with cozy furnishings and well supplied with everything you need for a home. Mobile service is almost non-existent in the village, but the WiFi covers most of the voids created by this. The WiFi has great coverage and speed making remote work very achievable. The hosts are very responsive, friendly and helpful. They make themselves available if needed and were a pleasure to stay with. If you are looking for an alternative to the dense urban environment of HK island, this is a great option for up to 4 or 5 people!

Safe and clean, not far from Yuenlang, consistent description, the landlord is very nice, easy to communicate with!

Very communicative host, clean and in my opinion large place (for Hong Kong). The transit options nearby are fantastic. Washer/dryer in unit is also really convenient, bed was comfortable, and the wifi is fast. Highly recommend!
